And? My answers bolded.Oh yes, it would certainly be even more compelling if any of those things had happened. No question!
Their absence, however, does not negate the evidence that does point to Jason.
And on the flip side:
Wouldn't Jason's alibi be more compelling if
1. His key card registered room entries that coincide with his story
It wasn't that out of line with what he said. I would be more suspicious if he had everything down perfect.
2. Cameras had viewed him eating breakfast at HI
There are no camera stills or videos of him anywhere in the hotel after midnite, and yet we know he came back to get his receipt and luggage. How did he leave and why not make sure he was noticed.
3. The cameras that would have exonerated/incriminated Jason hadn't been tampered with twice and at the particular times they were tampered with
They were tampered with before.
4. Jason had stayed at a hotel farther away
What difference would that make?
5. Jason hadn't urgently and persistently hounded Meredith to go to his house that afternoon.
6. There hadn't been a 4million dollar life insurance policy on Michelle's life
The policies were for equal amounts and no way would he ever be able to cash it. Never. Ever. Never.
7. Jason hadn't fallen in love with another woman
So, what was the plan? To wait it out, cash the insurance policy, and he and Michelle Money would live happily ever after? That no one would ever suspect him, that he could outwit everyone, and he was just that evil.
