Did MM stop contact? Did she have a lawyer? Did he not advise her otherwise?

The investigators told her she should stop talking to him. Whether or not she was threatened, I do not know, but she did stop talking to him.

Funny isn't it. I'm with you tarheellvr. He wouldn't even do a walk through of his own home? LE didn't sway or fabricate anything. They went where the evidence took them. I don't see why it is so hard for people to understand they didn't have "tunnel vision". It's routine to investigate the spouse. Now when the spouse doesn't cooperate and makes himself look suspicious why should they NOT investigate him . They were just doing their job. I will never forget the first time I saw the NC wanted video of "You came here for THAT!". It gave me chills. That was the last thing poor MY saw...that ugly mug...ugh!!

Oh mommy covered for him the best she could. And GoJo and Kimmy tried to sway the people on the internet in the begininng too. I think it shows in the email between him and Kim that she was starting to doubt him, imo.

I think they can pretty much do what they want. The old expression about a grand jury indicting a ham sandwich comes to mind. What's important is that she testified they did make this threat and no cop testified to the contrary.

I think the next jury will be viewing everything with a clear lens and that includes tactics such as that one. The defense should ask the cop who made the threat why he made it and what he wanted to accomplish which sounds like nothing more than intimidation.

Whether in town or not he certainly could not "help" if he was innocent of the crime. And the fact that he was proved to be out of town at the time Shelly said she felt they were being watched was more important to the investigation.

The idea that cops "needed" Jason to walk through the scene where his wife and son were murdered is really ridiculous. The cops can't have it both ways, they can't focus on him as a suspect and then allow him to contaminate the crime scene. Doing so would be the epitome of incompetence (which doesn't seem in short supply in this case.)

And, the very officer that arrived on the very scene testified in Trial 2, that he stood by his report that it was an accident and nothing more.

Just MOO, I think it was related to his (ER) being on the run and hiding out in the NC moutains for so long.

Ummm I feel horrible I couldn't attend. I was actually out of work that day due to a horrible migraine. I tried getting up but had vertigo. But some friends attended and said it went good.

P.S.- I'm still planning her 5k this fall

Ahhh OK, so maybe a "how to hide on the run" kind of thing.

The best predictor of future behavior is past behavior. So in mo the fact that years ago he pulled that ring off his ex fiance's finger and then MY's ring was never found is just one small piece of the puzzle and CE that convinces me without any reasonable doubt that JY is guilty.

I thought the witness explained why she went back to him very clearly on the stand about her low self image. I am sure you are familiar with abused women frequently returning to their abuser. This is very common for abused women.

OK. So someone said his ex-fiance said he talked about witnessing an accident where someone suffered head trauma.
I assume that means it happened at the time he was WITH this woman.
SO.. I therefore assume he saw the accident at that time he was engaged to this woman if she was testifying about it?

If my *assumes* are correct..... Why was he googling info about a head injury many years later? (What I am saying is why did is suddenly become important for him to get information about head trauma years after he "saw it").

ETA- Or was he still in contact with "GC" at the time of the murder and "googling" episode?
