Raves nowadays are very not much "underground", they may be held at disused warehouses and under old train tracks but they're very commercialised and extremely expensive to attend/buy a drink at.

True when first came on the scene it was more underground you are right ..do you think jay might have overdosed if waitress said he was unwell at nightclub
No, the clips I've seen when he falls/is pushed in that club really don't show me anything untoward ... I'd say most of the kids in there will have been under the influence. The only thing that did strike me as odd though is how no one's really dancing or looking to be having that great of a time but just all seem to be watching JS, the atmosphere looked a bit flat, hostile even to the raves I've ever attended but that could just be how these kids roll now. It's hard to tell anything from a 5 second clip though

@Tricia can we please leave this thread open overnight many of us in this thread are from the UK/EU time zone it’s very difficult to communicate in the day time when The thread is closed

This thread has died down so much - mine and the majority’s of peoples aims here is to bring Jays body home

None of us IMO want trouble we are all just looking to bring closure to this case

I had noticed waitress stated 3 euros for a glass of water in article do they normally charge for water at these things nowadays I thought it would be free to stop deaths from over heating etc in case young people didn't have the money to buy water

Lol...oh yes they certainly charge. Try being off your face in ibiza, was 10 euros for a teeny bottle of water back in the 90s so God knows what they charge now, 3 euros is a bargain!! Although I'd probably not have admitted giving it away for free, poor lass may have repercussions for that act of kindness bless her

Maybe because a lot of people view things through their camera lens now instead of just enjoying the moment imo there was clips of jay and his friends dancing I think the picture that really strikes me is when jay is on his own in the club and he doesn't look right so vulnerable looking too Jay Slater was so unwell at rave I had to give him water, says waitress
It's in this article

"He’s not stupid, in my mind he’s not going to go off a main path and down a sheer drop or cliffs unless he’s been forced down by someone who could have been following him."

This is a hard statement for me. He went with someone he really didn't know to a place hours away from where he was staying and without any people he really knew. That's not exactly a great choice. If he could make that kind of choice, anything else is open to possibility. So sure, in my mind he could have chosen what he thought was a shorter route and ended up on a goat trail and gotten lost. Not hard if your are a person who is in an unfamiliar place and does not know orienteering. And it's not a slam. Not everyone thinks the world is out to get them and plans for option Z happening. But when you end up with option Z and you don't have a plan, it can be a problem.

just one thing - it wasn't 'hours away' - it was 45 minutes by car
