Man oh man. I was early on wanting to go easy on speculating about any MH connections, but pulling up this address on Google maps just gave me chills. I just keep remembering the whole "Biscuit Run" thing being the main focus around Anchorage Farm. And boom- right when I zoom in there is Biscuit Run. Aargh.

So, if I type in Biscuit Run, Biscuit Run State Park comes up. Is that what you are referring to? I noticed nearby it says Covenant School, isn't that where JM helps coach?

I'm not sure if anyone here has mentioned this, but I read somewhere that Matthew grew up near Anchorage Farms outside Charlottesville. We all know that is where Morgan's body was found. I read that Matthew attended Red Hill Elementary as a youth. That school is no more than a mile or two (as the crow flies) from where Morgan's body was found. Would be interested to know where LJ lived at that time.

I have always thought that the placement of Morgan's T-shirt was a big "f you!" towards LE. Just my own opinion.

I'm desperate for JM to match the DNA of Morgan's killer and the Fairfax rapist just to give closure to those involved. I think I'll feel gutted if it comes back not to be a match.

MH's body being placed way out in an area that was possibly known to the killer...looking at the area te body was discovered, I see a few bodies of water. Could it have been a fishing area for him?

Pena recalls all too well the attack that took place on the night of September 24, 2005. After returning on foot to the complex from the Giant grocery store just a quarter of a mile up Jermantown Road, a 26-year-old woman was brutally raped.
According to the report from Fairfax police, the young woman reached the neighborhood carrying her groceries at approximately 10pm that night, when she was grabbed from behind and dragged to a small grassy area near the complex pool and playground.
Startled by a passerby, the assailant fled on foot. His traumatized victim then made her way to one of the closest units where the residents called 911 and comforted the young, dark-haired woman as she waited for medical care.
When residd on the grass near a wooden gazebo, where the victim–- whose identity has not been released–- was being treated inside.
"I didn't know what happened," says Hannan, noting that the next day the neighbors who had offered her assistance by calling 911 described the horrifying sight that greeted them when they opened the door to find the traumatized woman asking for help.

Also useful because the article gives some clues to a physical description of the victim in that case which point to the fact that she probably looked very different than Hannah and Morgan IMO. I know there were some posters here earlier wondering if the Fairfax victim may have looked like Hannah...

AVIXEN, I think the person preys on vulnerable young women walking alone at night. I also believe that the rapist/murderer changed his MO after the Fairfax rape and now lures his victims into his automobile, takes them somewhere desolate under a ruse and attacks them outside of his vehicle. One of the last sightings of MH was on the Copely bridge hitchhiking. Hannah had to have gotten into somebody's car and right now that somebody appears to be JM. No way he could have sexually assaulted Hanna in his orange car...too small. I think he took her to a remote area. JMO.

I agree. The shirt has always bothered me. I still can't come up with a good reason for why it was "placed" there. I mean why not just throw it in a dumpster/ burn it?

Very well stated MO... it's really just as simple as that!

I agree with you about changing MOs, and maybe it was because he was almost caught in the 2005 case... realized it was too risky to attack in an environment that he didn't have more control over (like a secluded place he was familiar with). I have the picture you are referring to saved on my desktop but I think I saved it from a Facebook page... I'll try to see if I can link to it too.

This will be the easiest to resolve if he was involved or not because of the DNA. Not going to be a mystery at all.

I'll be shocked if JM is not responsible for MH and the 2005 rape in Fairfax and probably others. They always said that the MH perp was very familiar with Charlottesville and Anchorage Farm. There was also consideration at the time the perp may have been a taxi driver. Plus his history (Liberty rape). Plus the sketch, which I think looks similar enough to JM. And Longo is deflecting the issue if he could be associated with the others cases - I believe he either thinks he could be or knows he is but really wants to keep the focus on Hannah for now. If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck....

If they have a DNA match for MH already they are probably keeping it close to their chest for negotiation purposes, like to not upset a plea they may have a chance at in the HG case in exchange for her body's location. I wouldn't expect them to make a connection in the cases known publicly at this point, not until they're ready to charge him.

All along I haven't thought the sketches look like him but in your first link, the 3 across the middle, he basically has the same eyes, same nose, same face shape... the only thing messed up is the lips and the lips could have been pursed or in some other sort of emotional position (an angry smirk, etc). Wow.

Yes the resemblance in that one is incredible.

A friend of mine was murdered and the perp turned out to look almost nothing like the sketch, so I don't usually put much stock in crime sketches. But this one is very, very close (if it is him).
