I've long wondered what happened to Jodi's own camera. We know that she took the photos of Travis in the shower with Travis' new camera, but where was Jodi's camera?

With Jodi being such an avid, self proclaimed photographer, I find it hard to believe she didn't also have her own camera close at hand.

I seem to remember Jodi nervously claiming her own camera was in 'storage' while she was being interrogated by Detective Flores, but it was strange the way she brought it up, as he hadn't even asked her about it, and then he just let her comment slide by.

I wouldn't put it past her to have taken pictures of the crime scene with her own camera, prior to leaving. Take pictures of a dead and mutilated Travis as her souvenir.

I don't believe for a second that Jodi traveled all that way to see Travis alive for the last time, and didn't take her camera with her. Taking her own camera with her when she left that house for the final time would have made leaving Travis' camera behind easy.

Guess it doesn't matter now though, anyway.

Couldn't she have taken the SIM CARD from his camera and uploaded it or copied it onto hers?

My camera is a crappy cell phone so I dunno .

I get intimidated, bear with me I want to so much just never get the nerve but I just could not shake that part.

SORRY IF THIS IS REPEAT INFO, but was just reading the wiki linked upthread and it indeed states that when Jodi arrived in Utah to see Burns that she had in fact dyed her back to BLONDE!!

Didn't he testify that her hair was brunette when she arrived? :waitasec:

Mine too...
...
BUT Andrea Schniederman is coming soon!!!

I might even go!

Wow, that's awesome.

I hope someone youtubes that trial like they are doing with this one. I got very interested in that one after seeing her bizarre courtroom behavior in the Newman trial.

There will be no InSession by then :( so I sure hope we can see it via youtube! :please:

I found that odd. She had broken up with Darryl, and yet was going to visit his sister? Maybe it's me, but I was never friends with my ex's after we broke up. Unless she was a good friend, why visit her? And because she didn't return her phone call until the next day, it hints to me that they probably weren't that close. I think it was just an excuse to make her way down to Mesa (and an excuse for all that sleeping on the road).

Does anyone else notice how much she mentions the word SLEEP? That girl sleeps everywhere - even in her text. "Oh, I was so tired, I pulled over to sleep". When I got to Travis's I was so tired, I went to sleep. Didn't she even sleep at Ryan's house (something about waking up before the movie was over)?

Now I can honestly say that in the last 15 years, I slept in my car once. And that was when I arrived to a movie too early and dozed off in my car. But did this girl ever sleep in a bed that was her own? She even slept on the floor at one dude's house (can't remember his name).

But she seems to sleep A LOT.

MOO

I agree that is strange behavior. The thing with narcissistic sociopaths, is they have no innate sense of propriety or appropriate behavior. They have no boundaries and could care less if they are intruding as they have no respect for anyone's privacy. They themself are all that matters. They simply could care less if they are wanted there or not, and are completely oblivious to the concept of trespassing. All they can do is mirror and mimic what they've seen others do. Which makes it very hard for the rest of us to even begin to fathom the things that they do. They are just so out there, they really do seem to be from another galaxy far, far away.

Didn't mean to get carried away, but the study of abnormal behavior is one of my passions. Plus, I've had first hand experience with someone just like this, but minus the murderer aspect.... very thankful for that much at least.

And persistent loonies! I finally decided to Google a Jodi Arias support site and among other things, Google came up with a "Casey Anthony is innocent" site. Wondering what the connection was I clicked on it and lo and behold, the guy who put the pro Casey site up is announcing his NEW site, the "Jodi Arias is innocent" site.

Incredible.

Although a :websleuther: I have never never visited either of those sites. :moo:

Hi everyone. I am a newbie and would like to say hello! I have been reading here for many years, and I am very captivated by this trial. I have been following it from the very beginning.

You folks seem very knowledgeable and I have really learned a lot from my browsing, and finally decided to join, since I had a quick question.

I came across what may or may not be a big mistake by Mr. Martinez, and was wondering what your thoughts might be, if it is big or not.

During Jodi's direct, there was a conflict of the happenings of Jan. 21, the day she walked in on Travis "supposedly" on the bed with the pics.

She testified to Mr. Nurmi that she talked with Travis later that night, after FHE about the "happenings" of earlier that day.

Mr. Martinez during cross, was showing texts and phone calls he was highlighting that there really wasn't a way that Jodi could have been at his house that night because he was at FHE.

He showed that after 11:33 she still was not at his house.

However, on the actual exhibit which shows the order of the calls/texts, the 11:33 wasn't PM (Monday night), it was actually 11:33 AM (Tuesday morning).

He continued to question her on how she could have been at Travis' house that (Monday) night to discuss what she had seen.

There was actually a gap between 9pm on Monday to 11am Tuesday, in which she could have actually been there.

I hope this makes sense. Sorry about the long post. Just wondering if this is significant or not.

Thanks everyone for your input.

I think there is something odd about this post, imo.

I honestly don't know, either. It is just something that has been gnawing at the back of my mind for quite awhile.

I thought I heard it said about Jodi that she never went anywhere without her camera, and that she was obsessed with taking pictures. It seems as if she would have had her own camera with her.

Does anyone know what ever happened to Jodi's own camera?

Welcome to Websleuths, Boomster! Are you an OU fan? (I am.)
:welcome:

can someone PLEASE post the 1st part prior to jury lunch ASAP. I have 1 hour 40 between flights to kill. plz plz?

So, only my second day and I haven't read up on everything, but was curious as to the duct tape. I believe a piece was found in the laundry maybe? The picture of Travis giving the peace sign you can make out a grey band around his bicep and in the shower pic where he is clasping his hands, you can see SOMETHING had been there. There is some red discoloration.

Was this discussed by the prosecution? Was the sticky side of the tape analyzed for any skin cells or DNA?

:welcome1: to WS! You are great at posts, and seem like a natural as to someone who has lots of experience and background to ask so much in your first post! KUDOS! you should be an atty!!!!!!!!

Oh my!!!!!!!!!!! Was that you who did that montage I saw!!!!!! That was great if you!!!!!!:rocker:

Well he didn't think she was going to kill him....he didn't have a very tuned in hinky meter. She was likely acting like her usual non-scary self, so yeah in the shower he is going to have his guard down. You speak in absolutes but there aren't any. He didn't know or even suspect he was going to get killed. There are plenty of crazy chicks out there who do crazy stuff and yet don't go as far as killing. Hindsight is 20/20.
Travis told his Sunday dinner companion/preacher that if he didn't show up one Sunday that Jodi killed him, and he put on his blog about dating an axe murderer, and- he texted her she was a sociopath, so I agree with Manzana that Travis was aware of Jodi's capacity for craziness, and shouldn't have let his guard down. I would've escorted her out the door, and locked all the doors, even maybe notifying police, then getting all the locks changed, including securing the doggy door.

From what I understand it was packed on her car.
She was hoping to go to Cancun so IMO she had it.

Did camera's have GPS stamps in 2008?
If so that is why it remained packed.

IMO
