Supposedly, the gas cans he had loaned her? If it's on her murderous return to home in Yreka.

No, he said she never did return the gas cans.

This is the last InSession live trial they will ever air. Beth K and Jean C have been given notice. On march 4 (I think?) they go to 2 hours of taped trial per day with Vinnie and no more live trials.

As Beth said "it's the end of an era". I've been watching her for all of her 19 years reporting for them.

Super sad. I hope something else opens up at HLN to create space for this. She said they just want to fill that time with more stupid reality shows like "Storage Wars" or whatever. :( So bummed.

This is incredibly sad. I watched HLN/IS/Whatever it was called in 1996. I was PG with my son (now 15 1/2) and was on bed rest. We had old-fashioned dial up with no access to trials like we have now. I wonder if it's because so many people watch trials on line vs. TV.

I admit, I tape HLN then FF through the parts I missed. I hope I'm not a part of the lost ratings.

I will miss them all - especially Beth C. (JC not so much).

I hope another network picks this up - because if they can show Cops, then they can show live trials. It's a learning experience for all (especially law students)!

What trials do you remember watching back then? The first trial I watched was Stephen Lucas in Tyler Texas who beat his mother at the bottom of a staircase claiming she fell down the stairs.

I called him "the Pillsbury Dough Boy". Long before the days of the internet (at least for me).

i think she ended up staying at TA's much longer than she planned. i think she meant to go, kill him and leave. but being jodi, she wasn't quite done with him and ended up blowing her timeline and spent the whole day with him before she finally did the deed.

:rocker:

Travis told his Sunday dinner companion/preacher that if he didn't show up one Sunday that Jodi killed him, and he put on his blog about dating an axe murderer, and- he texted her she was a sociopath, so I agree with Manzana that Travis was aware of Jodi's capacity for craziness, and shouldn't have let his guard down. I would've escorted her out the door, and locked all the doors, even maybe notifying police, then getting all the locks changed, including securing the doggy door.

Hi LinasK..do we know what Sunday this was brought up at? I wonder if it was after the flurry of emails and texts Travis sent to her regarding the passwords around May 26th or so?

I agree, he was attacked while he was sitting down in the shower, IMO.

But, I think it would be a mistake to think the entire attack took place in the shower. There was blood evidence that they were moving around the bathroom after that, blood in the sink, and even blood in the hallway to the bedroom I think. Defensive wounds show he fought off some of the knife attack, but not very effectively.

I agree with you here, that the entire attack didn't take place in the shower, etc. Travis tried to fight back and was moving around, then as you say, the evidence showed he probably ran down the hall to try to escape her.

I have never been able to get to the point one way or the other, as to whether the attack happened while he was sitting down, or when he was arising from the sitting position, or when he turned around to turn the shower off. I have also always found it very strange too, that he was sitting in the floor of the shower. It just seems foreign to me, plus it doesn't look like it would be comfortable at all. And by the look on his face, it didn't seem to be something he wanted to do. But that's just my own interpretation.

As much as I can't stop thinking about it, the fact is I think I'm just going to have to accept that there will always be some unanswered questions as to exactly how this heinous crime was committed. I will eventually have to let it go and accept that it will remain just that, a mystery.

I think the first one I watched 100% when it was commercial free was Nate Abraham.

MARCH 4TH???

:panic:
Will that even cover the end of trial???
I doubt it!
:maddening:

I know I wondered about that too...I wonder if they picked that date thinking this trial would be over by then. I can't imagine they won't finish out this trial. The coverage might change though. I know, sux.

I'll see what I can find out tomorrow. I have quite a few media connections in there now. Local and otherwise. Heck I'll just ask Beth herself.

She drove to Salinas to get her nails done, but it "took a long time". She stated that she would have to get on the highway in Salinas anyway, but she didn't get on the highway. She drove back to Darryl's house to return a remote? How did she wander off his one of Darryl's remotes when she only went there to permanently borrow his gas cans?

Was this information about returning a remote to DB's stated in the trial? I never heard that so just clarifying. TIA :)

Just listened to the testimony about Matt and Darryl on the murder trip. Here's the sequence of events:

1. She spent the night with Matt on June 2

2. Went to Darryl's morning of June 3 for breakfast - Matt did not go with her

3. After Darryl's she went to Salinas (20-30 min away) to get her nails done, but she said it took a long time - she was in Salinas for "a few hours". She testified that she had to go to Salinas anyway to get on the highway. She says the place could have also done hair, but she doesn't remember. Doesn't remember the name. I'm pretty sure Juan knows exactly what place it is.

4. After a few hours in Salina, she went back to Darryl's house to return something - she says she does not remember this, but indicates that Darryl remembers it. Didn't say what she returned to Darryl

Why did she return to Darryl's house? What was she returning?

She would be covered head to toe in blood. Look at the blood spatter up and down the walls in the bathroom. It would be in her hair, ears, arm pits, finger and toe nails, everywhere. I bet even after a shower she missed some spots.

29 stab wounds, each one causing splatter, let alone the spurts and gushing coming from severed arteries etc. UGLY!

Unless she went to matts to finish cleaning up

She sure acted really cagey with JM Thursday on the "cosmetic work" , how long at the nail salon and returning to DB's house business. She got super vague and said she didn't even remember returning to DB's house until he testified to it.

She remembered the omelettes they had for breakfast but not going back out of her way to return to his house after her 5 hour manicure. :waitasec:

In one photo in the media of the outside of the house, wasn't there a white car parked? Maybe it was a LE vehicle or some forensics person's car, but I was wondering if anyone knows what color cars TA and/or his roommates had. If anyone in the home drove a white car, maybe that's why Jodi asked for a white rental car--so it would not look out of place if a neighbor or anyone in the area happened to see it parked there or close by.

I saw that picture, good catch! She was always about mimicking and blending in with any given situation she could worm her way into.

Wow I don't even know that one!

Feiger defended him, he was the 11 yr old facing life for killing Ronnie Green
