I was just perplexed as to why she didn't use the "I was in a fog" answer and instead was adamant that the casing didn't land where the picture showed. I guess it is just another example of Jodi being Jodi. She is going to stick to her story, evidence be damned.

One thing I don't know if mentioned before but that's rather odd is how JA stressed over & over during direct that TA was a jealous control freak. TA knew JA was going to Utah and according to her he "guilted" her into stopping in Mesa while on her way. If he was such a jealous and controlling guy why didn't he throw a hissy fit about her going to Utah to see Ryan? Maybe b/c he wasn't a jealous controlling guy?

Thanks Martin,I came late to this case and only saw the Defense's side.I thought there were many sex photo's from June 4th.

I dont think they had sex on june 4,,,if she snuck in on him and took his photos of him ( one sleeping ,,the other just waking up ) and then took photos of herself while he was downstairs , and thought she was going to hope mimi saw them or send them to mimi making it look like they was ,,,i havent seen any actual sex act photos yet so,,,its like that photo of prez obama shooting a rifle,,the press can say " presedent shoots deer on whitehouse lawn" and show the photo as proof,,yes he shot a rifle but did he shoot a deer?,,ok ot there,,,speaking of cameras,,wheres any photos that jodi took during her multi state trip?

Since he referred to her scamming him in some of the texts, I wonder if she didn't say something like " hey, I'm on my way to Utah for the PPL meeting, I have your money and I'm going to swing down and drop it off in person. You're right about me apologizing, I'd like to do it face to face so there are no hard feelings."


What I want to know is, how much did she spend on her way to Utah and Yreka after murdering Travis and when she got home. We know she sent Iris's and took another road trip back to Mesa. I think Travis might have kept an emergency stash at home, and she stole that along with his journals.

Not sure of the year but an old beater BMW could fetch more than $100, so lets look at why he sold it to her, possibly it could be said that he was being nice but being nice why not just give it to her then.

$1,200 in a years time certainly was nothing he was counting on, nor would he count on her swinging by to drop off a payment or two.

Selling the car to her was a way to keep her around, if you want to distant yourself from a stalker, you do not sell a car to them.

Kinda reminds me of some divorcees where couples are fighting over the husbands tools or the wife's dishes just kinda not wanting to let go completely.

This is a great example of why I said last night that I think Jodi has manly hands - in fact, her whole appearance in this photo looks quite manly . . .

this discussion about her lady parts went on for a long time here and i'm only going to weigh in on it again this one time in support of the other RN who posted---KZ, i think.

in the 25 years i worked as an RN in labor and delivery and for OB/GYN's, i saw literally 1000's of female genitalia. there is nothing out of the ordinary about hers. we all come with standard equipment, but it doesn't look the same from woman to woman. i saw nothing that made me think there's anything wrong with hers. just normal variations. that's all.

Been thinking about her shoe story. It now occurs to me that perhaps she never had shoes on because she wanted to "sneak in". I'll bet in her planning ahead of time she thought shoes would leave impressions that could possible be traced back to her and thought socks would leave nothing and no pattern for CSI. Shoes would make noise on the floor which would interfere in sneaking.

After watching the CNN special I have a totally new view of what may have transpired.

#1--All his friends said it was Jodi that killed him
#2--He had just written that hate filled text to JA, about her being a sociopath.

..........and after his friends knowing she was stalking TA and had slashed his tires, obviously TA knew this too, maybe the bases of the text. So prior to June 4th, Travis was FINISHED with Jodi. Why would he even allow her near him let alone into his home at 4AM? Then they went to sleep? He actually closed his eyes with this women in his bed?...............................and
They did not have SEX until 2pm--Sex would be the ONLY reason Jodi was there and that would have happened at 4am when she SAYS she got there.....and who arrives at 4am when it is planned? She had a key and let herself in.

WHAT IF?: Travis never knew she was in the house. She may have arrived later in the day or got into the house when it was still dark out, and hid. The photos were taken with a ZOOM lens which she admits.

That picture we see of Travis in the shower looking at her is the first he realizes she is there. That is why we cannot explain that (deer in the headlights) look on his face. I cannot imagine he would have ever allowed her into his home after those texts and knowing, as his friends did, that she was a crazy stalker. The creep factor in this hypothesis is off the scale, I know, but we cannot believe ANYTHING she says and if she is telling us one story...you can best believe it did not happen that way.

I think she gets a bit worried when the teuth starts to leak out, forgets the script and does her best to draw attention away from the truth. She WANTS the gunshot to come first, that's the only way her "fog" makes sense. Since he pointed out how forensic evidence proves otherwise, she goes off-script because her belief in her power to explain things away is absolute. Only Juan didn't follow up so she didn't get her chance to spin her tale.

My husband just criticized us all. I was reading a few posts about other posters who go to great lengths to not miss a second of trial (carrying our iPads into the bathroom, etc.)

What lengths do men go to kick, throw or hit a ball around a field, a golf course or a gym floor? If they could get the tv into the bathroom I think they would do that, too. But they prefer more to having a bowl of popcorn and a couple of beers beside them while viewing their game. lol jmo

I will have to go back and refresh my memory but I was under the impression that JA's car was getting ready to be repo'd so he sold her the BMW so she would go the heck back to Yreka.

But, I see you point. Unless of course, TA never thought he would see the cash flow anyway. JA testified the terms were loose but no less than 100 a month. I haven't had a chance to look but I thought the check she wrote was for April and May for 200 that she was giving him June 4. So, it was a loose agreement for sure.

Oh yeah PS, hubbie works for DHS and I was talking to him last night about that checkpoint JA talked about before Hoover Dam. HE SAID...Border Patrol there have cameras that scan several miles and that had they seen anything like her pulling off to the desert, a fire, whatever, they would have immediately checked it out. Wonder if Border Patrol cameras have anything of her, the car or anything.

Serial killers take trophies.

Remember the male photographer who took thousands of pictures of his victims before he killed them?

After LE caught him, they released photos of unknown victims trying to get them identified.
