They don't have Journals, but there is a fight over 10 letters. Jodi's mom tried to sell them to the Enquirer. Jodi got them "electronically" (so by email) they are copies of 10 letters. Jodi refused (or her side) refused to say where or who had the originals.

Often times, copies such as this would not be admissible as a document examiner needs originals to authenticate them.

So who knows what is in them. Allegedly they are fantasies exchanged between them, but Jodi claims in the letters she says to him she forgives him for something.. So she gets in the "he did something to me" crap.

Sorry, I think its all crap. :fence:

I'd appreciate any opinions on this.

Do you think Martinez will carry Jodi's cross through the end of the week? It would leave the jury with something very big!

Or, will Martinez finish up by noon tomorrow and stick Nurmi with re-direct after lunch? Nurmi, expecting not to have to re-direct until next week, could be caught off guard and somewhat unprepared.

I really hope JM keeps "hammering" her for the rest of the week! (Note the word "hammering" in reference to how TruTV & HLN describe JM's way of cross examining! Love it!)

If JM finishes "hammering" her tomorrow around lunchtime leaving Nurmi to go up for re-direct...well I think we all know what will happen... Nurmi will whine to the Judge that he wasn't prepared for JM to finish his cross so soon & that he needs a few days to prepare! Ok I'm exaggerating, but I wouldn't put it past Nurmi... the only DT's tactics I've seen throughout this trial so far is delay, delay, delay!

If they need to discuss something before cross they really ought to do it earlier in the morning. It's not very polite to keep the jury and we, the people who want justice for Travis, waiting.
