It is anyone's guess what she did with those pages - no explanation provided by her detailed little mind. I'm curious as to when she ripped those pages out. I'm inclined to think she did it while she was in coverup mode after the murder.

I think she did it in her mind over the weekend. Like the photos of her cut right hand finger, where did these photos come from anyway, why wait until now to show them? AND what does any of this have to do with her defending herself by stabbing Travis in the back.

I can't imagine though why someone of such value to the case would have their incriminating items stored on just one computer. What if the computer just broke? I mean, you'd think they'd back it up somewhere as precaution.

They did have an expert look at her journals and compare them to 12 known handwritten samples from JA.

The Scientific Examination report is showing that 12 known samples of JA's writing were used to compare to the journal writings. In conclusion it showed the writings all matched.. but... in the journal dtd 4/13/08 - 7/14/08 it showed that on page 30 there is some discernible indented writing that developed, whose source is unknown.

I agree with you all the way on this. But in Nurmi's defense (I don't like the chap at all), he's got nothing else to work with and his only goal is to spare her the DP. JMO - she deserves the DP.

I'm pretty sure an x-ray would show a prior break. For example, In child abuse cases, I believe that is how they can tell if bones had been previously broken.

of course she wrote them. but WHEN did she write them? there's no way to prove she didn't write them a year ago, is there? and nobody can prove that, can they?

I agree with you completely. I was curious about this matter of anal sex, she or more so Nurmi is trying to make TA out to be a monster but my point was her having anal with many! I am over 50 and married a long time and not a prude either. When I was young and single I only had ONE boyfriend ask me if I wanted to try anal sex and I said NO. I find it very odd Jodi was having all this anal sex all the time.

If the goal was to simply spare her the DP then I would think, when she tried to plead out, she would have offered to plead guilty and LWOP. imo

The judge needs to make Nurmi...go a little faster. Its getting ridiculous for the jury to have to bear the same stuff over and over..again! I know he doesnt have much to work with but..enough is enough.

For me, this case is proof positive that defense attorney's will elicit false testimony from a witness on the stand without a second thought. Nurmi stays as far away from the reality of this case as he can possibly stay. Justice for Travis is not the issue in the defense team's world.

An xray does show previous breaks however, she will simply say it must not have been broken after all but just injured. It would not negate that it was injured in 01/08.

Well, I'm sure she would have gladly added any of the 1000 places to visit before Travis dies if she was able to. Her story is always evolving, so you never know.
I think she said she drove straight to Yreka because she had to report for work, then drove back to Redding to return the car, and pick up her own car from her sister's house. Seemed odd that she wouldn't leave her car in the rental lot - I would have, I'd guess most people would (of course, I probably wouldn't have rented a car if I had a car to drive, or driven thousands of miles). But - why bug your sister for a ride when you have to drive to Redding anyway? Seemed silly.

If you didn't want your own car seen in the rental lot, you would do that.

I think she said she went back to her sister's and took a nap (again, most people would have just left a bit later, rather than drop in on sis for a ride to rental car, and a nap) - it made little sense.

I also think JM said something about her going back to Monterey or SeaSide after going to Salinas for a manicure (again, very little sense).

I'm not sure how far apart these places are, but if Redding took her 90 minutes to drive, and there was an extra stop in Monterey, that could account for the extra miles she drove.
