Is Phoenix near Tucson? Apparantly its dumping snow in Tucson right now! :great:

Tucson is south of Phoenix and is at a higher elevation. It is beautiful there in the desert with the saguarro cactus and the snow falling.

Is jean smoking crack? Jodi's testimony is going to call the ME opinion in question... Rofl

It's raining in PHX. I've seen flurries here exactly twice the entire time I've lived here and they last about a minute once they hit the ground.

Personally I thnk that the recall of the murder landed like a thud. She didn't explain anything. Now the guy on IS is saying the same. Too light on the stabbing, etc. jmo

I am a real baby when it comes to anything regarding injuries or worse. My poor father is a hunter and I am sure he couldn't imagine where his daughter got her lack of constitution from. I would ball my eyes out when he would drive up with a deer on his roof.

I couldn't stand for the fish to get a hook in its mouth, let alone put said hook through the poor, innocent worm. Fishing was out for me. Still is, tried it with my daughter thinking I may have outgrown those feelings, and no... had to leave her alone to fish with her friends and other mothers.

I accidentally killed a frog I had caught to keep as a pet in elementary school, and still to this day it breaks my heart and horrifies me- I remember it like it was yesterday. On my death bed, I will be asking for forgiveness for the accidental manslaughter of that poor frog.

IF I had to kill the animal myself, I would be a vegetarian and can't eat anything (think Main Lobster) that resembles itself in living form (ie eyeballs, face etc.).

I prefer my husband to cut up any meat I will be cooking, and if he isn't home, have a hard time myself hacking in to... say... a whole chicken from the super market. I can hardly stand it.

I cannot fathom a person- especially a woman- that could cut, stab, and slice another human being, and one that is living no less.

I just can't wrap my mind around that kind of brutality... evil, cold blooded viciousness.

I can't and never will.

As far as I am concerned the needle is way too humane for Jodi but let God or the universe deal with her after the fact. She doesn't deserve to live, I have never been more certain.:furious:

OK
JA wants to PROTECT TA from his dirty secret!! How noble!!!

And then she is preparing for suicide. The suicide story will be as phony as her lead up and account of the murder.

Also women do not commit suicide with a gun
they OD or jump.

When I worked as a donation coordinator for an eye and tissue bank, we had a case of an elderly man who died of a sudden heart attack in his mid 80's. His wife was 87 and she covered him with his favorite blanket kissed him goodbye and then went home and shot herself. She left a note saying she couldn't live a day without her beloved husband. Women do shoot themselves.

Here's what I know after years of working as an RN in an inpatient Psychiatric Unit and raised by a father who was the Adminstrator of one.

If someone wants to kill themselves, they do it.

If they don't and survive it's almost always a cry for help or some kind of manipulation.

Borderlines can succeed in committing suicide but it's often by accident as one of their dramatic ploys for attention actually gets pushed too far.

Jodi Arias was never truly suicidal, in any of these fairytales she's selling.

It is amazing, and completely unbelieveable, that that shower scene happened the way she describes it. Plus, there was this gun conveniently waiting in the closet. She doesn't remember stabbing him all those times, doesn't remember that part at all.

She slit his throat from ear to ear. No, she doesn't remember that. Imagine that.

Furious here. Jodi deserves the DP.

IT IS NOT BELIEVEABLE. JODI WENT THERE TO KILL TRAVIS.

So many Websluthers have posed better hypothetical defenses than what we saw here. I'm honestly shocked, with her web of lies an theatrics I expected more.

Jodi has avoided putting herself in a vulnerable light this whole trial, despite her attorney's constant attempted segues into victimhood. In the few visible moments of apparent and claimed vulnerability, emotion and weakness, they serve to trash Travis.

It seems that perhaps Jodi couldn't come up with a better story that wouldn't make her appear either 1) in her true jealous light (the truth) or 2) weak, emotional, vulnerable, and she doesn't like that, she only likes hinting at it.

If Travis had scratched up her ankles, there would have been her skin under his nails, right? Was that indicated on his pathology reports?

NO
IMO Travis did not touch her but do believe he yelled at her; Travis was the only one that had defensive wounds.
Did ya'll notice JA adding in another tale of dropping a glass in the kitchen sink at Travis' house is how she cut her fingers?
My gawd this girl cannot admit to stabbing him.. how can Juan question her now?

I still think there is premeditation when she loaded up with the gas cans. She was trying to hide where she was going in advance.

And there was definitely premeditation even before that - it began with the staged "burglary" of one of the murder weapons (the gun) from her grandparents home a week before the murder.

Thought:
She said she got the gun from the top shelf. When cleaning, she had to use the stool. Yet in the crime scene photos, the stool was in place in the center of the closet. So did she put it back or what?

Oh, Mike Beooks just said the shelves weren't disturbed either.

I hope the jury has a lot of questions.

What a day! I'm at work so I've been trying to keep up here and there, definitely going to have to go back and watch testimony later. Did I hear correctly that she said she shot him first? Didn't the ME state he was shot last? I know this has been debated about back and forth here, but I seriously can't remember what is actually in evidence of the order.
TIA :)

--------------
I am pretty sure the ME. said he was stabbed in the heart first.:seeya:

The defense really wants the gunshot to be first. I still believe that she stabbed him first.

If Travis was taller than Jodi, there is no possible way the bullet would have had the trajectory it had (down and to the left). She is full of it!!

I honestly don't think her testimony could have gone any better for the prosecution. Honestly, with her skill in lying on other things (interrogations), I really expected something more plausible. I am relieved.

same here...but i am disgusted with jodi--what a sub human..

Right! She said her self she made no plans on how to do it and made no attempts! She just "wanted to." She's such a liar.

dramatic ploy for attention......and you are a RN, now that is scarry as well...

"I was feeling a whole lot of emotions...I was very scared at that time". Sorry Jodi. You can't be dissociated and have no memories and "feel a whole lot of emotions" all at the same time. It doesn't work that way.

On that note...off to court I go. I'm so stressed out by this sociopath I need to scream loudly in my car on the way there or something.

There is a man sitting next to the mitigation specialist. He looks as if he is taking notes and has a file on his lap. Seems to me he may be testifying about her reaction??? Just a guess.

I turned off In Session. I can't stomach JC, especially when she isn't making a bit of sense. I think all that face work affected her brain cells.

I'm headed down as soon as they break for lunch. It all depends if there are family seats left because that's where I sit.
I know you don't mention Websleuths, Katie, but if you could mention to the family they are in a lot of strangers hearts and prayers, I'd really appreciate it.

Because of where I've been I feel like I know, to some degree, the evil Jodi is and how crazy chaotic and miserable she would have made Travis' life months leading up to murdering him. (It makes this case very personal.) My heart breaks so much for his loved ones though. I just want them to know they've got a lot of support in way of compassion, prayers and positive thinking. There isn't a day that passes I don't wish I could hug them personally.

A very sincere thank you for anything you feel comfortable expressing on our behalf. And if you've done so already, and I somehow missed it, the same. You're invaluable to us!

That was what I said after he showed the photos! She said she climbed the shelf, yet nothing was misplaced.
