Today rendered me speechless for a while. It was a momentous day in this trial. :eye: :eye:

I was surprised that some seemed to think JA would shake like a "chihuahua" during cross. No, she revealed well the psychopath underneath. Psychopaths do not know or understand fear as we do. But arrogance? That is their old reliable.

Any semblance of the meek, soft-spoken, naive little girl she was trying to put on the for the jury was just shattered today, folks. She valued her pride above all, including keeping up her schoolgirl act. She was cold, snarky, rude, and at times belligerently evasive. Mr. Martinez brought this out of her in day one of cross (along with the admission of multiple lies).

That very pride will be a nail in her coffin, IMO. Now, I have a lot of thread reading & "thanking" to do!

After a break she did ask that Juan and Jodi not over talked each other for the court reporter sake. I'm sending that man a gift card. I love his expressions and he did have that penis looming over his head that day.

I love that court reporter. He has become my favorite. I can't imagine what he is thinking during all of this "graphic" testimony, but he always keeps his game face on. And he's one snappy dresser. Nurmi could use a few lessons from him :lol:.

Those talking heads are all completely nuts. I swear. I think the jury loved this cross after three weeks of dribble and lies and pat little answers from a person absolutely desecrating the memory of the man she butchered.

That's what I was just saying to my brother! He thinks JM is too aggressive so we argue about him a lot. Lol. I think he snapped the jury out of boredom and they'll be paying attention to every word!

I don't know if it has been discussed here yet, but the woman who is writing a book on this case. Shanna Hogan, was on Dr. Drew tonight. She said about the messages in the magazines, "This was one of the most powerful moments in court. I've known about this for a couple of years because this came out in some of the earlier hearings. But these messages were written in pencil basically in the margins of a Star [sic] magazine and what testimony showed today [was] that she was trying to attempt to have these jailhouse messages smuggled out of the jail, delivered to her ex-boyfriend....How this relates to the pedophile claim is that this...ex-boyfriend had come into the picture and had given letters that seemed to show evidence that Travis was a pedophile which were later proven to be forgeries." [I got most of that lol]

You need to watch it again. He attacked all her biggest lies she told the court. her finger. PROVEN with evidence from interrogation, pics, words etc. Travis did Not break her finger, ITS PROVEN.

Pedophile claims...Denounced. Broke down her walk in story and proved it did not happen at all. Also showed that she said during the hearings that it was on the computer..well we saw that its not on any of his computers. The phonce records prove that Jodi was somewhere else and Travis was at church when she made up this lie of walking in catching him. IT DID NOT HAPPEN. PROVEN.

Confronting/Stalking/Peeping when a relationship is over PROVEN. Shows demeanor. We will hear more about this later. Shows that she's down for confrontation and has no boundries at all.

Smuggling messages through the mail with the purpose to elicit false testimony PROVEN. She was in a lot of trouble and yet in 2012, she's telling matt you ****ed up, you're contradicting everything i told my attorneys. come down here and meet with me ASAP. Shows witness tampering. Shows the jury that her testimony is false, self serving full of lies and anyone taking the stand in her defense is a potential tampered and mislead witness. If she built up any believers in the jury she just lost them.

Juan is doing a good job. These things are all proven with evidence and even her own words. These examples are big to her case. Remember Travis was abusive, pedo, etc and now we have all of this evidence showing otherwise. None of this is minor. He is one day into his cross. he still has the whole murder to get thru and the aftermath. What do you think this says to a jury??? Nothing?

I listened to all of it just now and totally disagree. Imo, it's an extremely lame cross given the crazy pro-prosecution facts in the pre-2010 interviews. I know he's trying to show current lies, but man, he comes across like a total tool, imo. 90% of her responses, or more, are entirely credible and his points, even if made, are like "so." jmo

Jodi was unmasked today. He exposed her for the hypocrite she was. bad mouthing everyone like she accused her father of doing and yet we hear her attributing stereotypes to the man who happened to be gay warning Matts ex that jodi was coming. he was scared and she made it seem like because of his orientation he was overreacting, feminine and dramatic.
Jodi is an arrogant, defiant, always right, passive aggressive, pathological liar. She enjoys a fight and goes out of her way to manipulate others around her by her behavior or self serving lies. We just got see the monster unmasked and its only going to get worse as the trial continues. She is not who she presents herself to be.

I recently re-watched the 48 Hours episode, after hearing Jodi explain how she came up with the two ninjas, a man and a woman. "Symbolically," they represented her and Travis.

If you listen to what she says those two ninjas did, and then imagine Jodi and Travis as the two people, it sends chills down your spine. On 48 Hours, she mentioned, that Travis was crawling on all fours and screaming "Help me!" IMO, this part -- Travis crawling and screaming-- must have really happened...

I think so too and every time I hear that I cry!!!! Makes it worse for me now that I've heard friends speak for what a big-hearted, wonderful friend he was AND having heard his voice singing the National Anthem and being overly tired & goofy!! The thought of him suffering and fighting for his life for what probably seemed liked an endless amount of time for him, makes my heart sink and the tears flow harder

Nothing Jodi said was credible today. None of her responses. She came across as someone who has selective memory when its beneficial to her. She tried to manipulate every question given to her and acted as if she lacks comprehension. You ask her a simple yes or no she's non responsive or acts like she doesn't understand. Typical of a pathological liar. They hate being exposed or caught. We are watching a psychopath at work and anyone who finds her to be credible worries me. The talking heads and her fans really think she's winning with her antics. Its scary.

ITA. She was smirking and acting very satisfied with herself, as if she won a debate with someone who in reality she could never match wits with. Very inappropriate, but of course she doesn't understand what is socially appropriate. She was enjoying today as if it were a game, instead of a trial for her life.
