Joel Brodsky is scheduled to appear on Greta's On the Record tonight.

With the arrests today in the Holloway case, I hope that doesn't bump Brodsky.

When a former police officer suspected in his wife's disappearance pleaded for legal help on the "Today" show, lawyer Joel Brodsky's first thought was: "What an idiot."

He thought Drew Peterson was foolish to discuss the disappearance on national television. But Brodsky also told his wife: "That would be an interesting case. I could do that case."

Brodsky, who soon began representing Peterson, initially welcomed the publicity, but he now says he got more than he bargained for. In recent weeks, reporters have looked into his own background. He receives hate mail from strangers, and he's besieged with constant interview requests.

"...or did something bad or committed an offense"...in other words...people who are GUILTY ?

You see, Joel, defense lawyers are supposed to say that their best accomplishment is seeing that their client gets a fair trial, and the best punishment deal possible if they are guilty.

That way you don't have to admit that you really get a kick out of letting dangerous criminals walk free.
(It just doesn't sound good, Joey.)

Wow. I've heard lawyers say a lot of strange things before, but that one is right up there in the top ten... I was reading on the other thread about his past "mistakes" and it does appear that he and DP are "two peas in a pod"... Maybe if DP fails in being his own downfall, this guy will help shove him the rest of the way off the cliff. We can only hope, since Stacy deserves justice in the worst kind of way. And Kathleen as well for that matter.

It's amazing that a divorce lawyer is doing a better job for Craig Stebic than this guy, a defense attorney, is doing for D.P. But then again, D.P. is probably not taking any of his lawyers advice because of his arrogance.

Is Brodsky a criminal attorney? He doesn't seem very sure of himself unless a scripted dialogue. Last night on "Greta" he seemed to be so nervous and on the defensive! Loved how Greta got him to commit to coming on the show again with the "dreaded" panel of real defense attorneys-she slipped in the question so fast, I don't think Brodsky knew what he was agreeing to!:clap: Another opportunity for him to show off his ineptness. Wouldn't be surprised if he comes up with some excuse to back out! And this is the best taker that DP could find from his "Today" show plea for representation!!!!

Last night Greta said DP'sA had agreed to be ON tonight. She gave him a choice, come ON before the panel, after the panel, or be there withem.

DP'sA keeps sticking one foot then the other in his pie hole, can't wait.
I am wondering IF IF DP'sA had anything to do with the withdrawal of the media from DP's street?

OR if out of respect for the young children still living there, the ministers comment made the media think twice about public opinion, about the intrusion on the teenaged children at least. Has to be hard for those two teenagers.
