OFGS....I'm sure this woman could not wait to get her pants off for the photographer....(just like the first night she met JE!)....

this "bedroom" photo-shoot makes me ill...she's loving all of this attention and I'm sure there will be more to come....
 
Sleuthy, I'll be interested in hearing your thoughts when you finish it.

I definitely enjoyed reading it and found I couldn't put it down once I started.

If she has "such compassion" for Edwards' estranged wife, Elizabeth, why did she not only sleep with her husband,have his baby,and make it sound like they are in LOVE?
Compassion like that no one needs.

Ain't that the truth. If it wasn't so insulting, I would find the "tricked" comment funny, but she obvioulsy thinks the public is stupid enough to believe it -- on some level. This woman is a piece of work and she and Edwards deserve each other. As always, I feel for the children -- his and her little baby girl.

She is a tramp, but she is getting more than her share of attention for being so. How do we turn these people off? They just keep coming.

Agree. Wasn't it just so sweet (cough, cough) how they were instantly in love and were so involved that they didn't even consider JE's wife and his two minor children? Nor did they, apparently, think much about the possibility of bringing another child into this world.

Her story and photo just tugs at the heart strings (cough, cough), doesn't it? Great photo shoot IN THE BEDROOM. Doesn't everyone pose for a photographer in a bedroom?

Unfortunately, Lisa played softball with Rielle and let her call the plays, despite a few good follow-up Qs. Most of the text was comprised of Rielle's own (and too many) words rather than the journalist's take. Staying overnight in the interviewee's home and sharing her bathroom and kitchen table does not make for the most objective reporting or incisive interview technique either.

Nonetheless, the article was full of Rielle, who is so full of herself, and as such it was informative.

Nothing more to add that isn't already in the minds of most ppl who read it.

Well, I agree they are both dirtbags, but for me, Edwards is much worse that Woods. Edwards was campaigning to become the president, for goodness sake. I am sure I would be devastated if my husband chose to follow the path of either Woods or Edwards, but I personally would be a lot more upset if he was emotionally and physically intimate with someone, as opposed to just a physical connection. But then again, if I knew my husband had had countless "physical connections" with countless skanky women, I guess I would have to concede that our "emotional connection" was somewhat lacking!

Let's just say they both took things to a disgusting extreme.

As far as Edwards goes, I really feel for the kids involved in this mess. What a nightmare for all of them. This takes dysfunctional to a whole new level.

The bottom line, IMO, with this whole affair is Rielle Hunter thinks posing with her pants off on a bed with stuffed animals is "repulsive", while having an affair and baby with a married, presidential candidate is acceptable.

Our moral compass is broken.

I agree with most of your posts; I have been reading the story in the NY Post (a daily paper) every day and laughing while thinking She was almost a Presidents wife, dressed like a sex pot. Her ego must need that
(How very distinguished lol) And if it is love she would have bowed out gracefully and not create more embarrassment. NO it is self serving form the very first line.

but "the Hunter" as I called her from the very beginning is really ugly so the photographer was pretty good.;)
Yes she knew what she was doing from her very first line to him "YOU ARE HOT".....And yes IMHO she did know that Elizabeth is an abusive wife - (many knew - it was not secret, and his staff hated Elizabeth)
so "the Hunter" played right into it including getting pregnant and video taping him in bed with her,
All a plan to get him / his money / life time security.
How he allowed her to video tape them in bed is the million dollar question??? :doh:

These things happened in another time, too. People just didn't have the media and Internet to broadcast them. Aside from Kennedy, I remember how appauled I was when I learned about Franklin Roosevelt's mistress and the possibility of Dwight Eisenhower having an affair. John Edwards... Elliot Spitzer... Mark Sanford... The Tiger Woods affairs shook the world, of course, and now Jesse James (Sandra Bullock). Amazing how politicians, sports starts, etc. think they won't get caught. It's a different age, for sure - one that won't let you hide.
