Kate James, AH's former personal assistant between 2012 and 2015 has claimed she told AH about a violent sexual assault she had endured, only for AH to "twist" the story for her own use.

KJ gave dramatic testimony in support of JD and said she had told AH she was raped at machete-point in Brazil about 25 years ago.

She said she was shocked to learn that in a witness statement, AH had misrepresented and exploited the incident. "She referred directly to a violent rape that occurred to me … and she twisted it into her own story".

"I am a sexual violence survivor and that's very, very serious to take that stance if you are not one."

Another former estate manager, Kevin Murphy, accused AH of asking him to lie under oath, after she was charged with bringing her two dogs to Australia illegally. He said, "She wanted me to say essentially that it was my fault in one way or another that the paperwork wasn't completed, so that I could take the blame for her".

She was charged in July 2015 with bringing Yorkshire terriers Pistol and Boo to the country illegally earlier that year. She pleaded guilty in April 2016 and escaped a conviction after expressing remorse.

KM said she asked him to falsely claim she didn't know it was illegal to bring the dogs to Australia, which has strict animal quarantine rules. He claimed she said, "I want your help on this. I wouldn't want you to have a problem with your job."

The Sun’s lawyer accused him of lying and pointed out that he had subsequently made a misleading declaration in the Australian court case. KM said he did so at AH's request because he was afraid of losing his job.

"Why on Earth did you not go to Mr Depp to ask him to intervene rather than just lying on oath?" the lawyer asked. KM replied, "Because Amber wielded a lot of power and would have made my life miserable."

His account was backed by Ms James.

Why take and save this photo of melted ice cream. Cruel IMO.
You know, a really dear friend of mine took ambien one night. She woke up next morning with pint of vanilla ice cream melted on her lap, all over everything.
I thought her very brave to actually share the story with us and admit she would never take that PM pill again.
Imagine if someone snapped a photo. A spouse? What the heck AH?!

This is the type of stuff teenagers and young adults do to friends when they go a little to hard at a party, just for the giggles and there's nothing harmful about it, happens to most of us. The thing is, I agree with you. Why would Amber ever thake that picture? Why not pick up the container, at least? She's awful and it's pretty clear she was taking these pictures and these videos to screw him over. I'm glad he or whoever got those tapes of her going crazy on him.
 
Long-term partner Vanessa Paradis and ex-girlfriend Winona Ryder have given statements to the court saying accusations he abused AH did not reflect the person they knew. They both said he was never violent towards them and had been kind and protective.

Paradis said in her statement, "I have seen that these outrageous statements have been really distressing, and also caused damage to his career because unfortunately people have gone on believing these false facts".

Ryder said, "I do not want to call anyone a liar but from my experience of Johnny, it is impossible to believe that such horrific allegations are true."

Paradis and Ryder had been due to give evidence in person, but JD’s lawyer said their testimony was no longer needed because their statements that he had never been violent had not been challenged.

JD was already in Aust doing Pirates, it was AH who arrived with the dogs.

In October 2015, Ms Heard faced criminal proceedings for taking the couple's two Yorkshire Terriers, Pistol and Boo, into Australia illegally on a trip from America.
The couple repeatedly denied that they knew anything about Australia's strict laws, but a former staff speaking at a defamation case heard in London claimed that was a lie.
The British High Court was told by a former employee of Depp that Ms Heard was 'repeatedly' told it was illegal to take her two dogs to Australia but did so anyway.

Amber Heard’s former personal assistant Kate James said Heard “deliberately smuggled the dogs into Australia. As in several circumstances which I observed, it was as if she felt that she was above the law.”

In the strongly worded article, Stanhope accuses Heard of “threatening to lie about [Depp] publicly in any and every possible duplicitous way if he didn’t agree to her terms” and alleges that his friend “got used, manipulated, set up and made to look like an a–hole”.

Artist, Isaac Baruch, a childhood friend of JD’s, told the court about the day he allegedly found AH changing the locks to the LA penthouse she and JD shared.

IB lived rent-free, in an LA apartment owned by JD between 2013 and 2016, on the same floor that JD and AH had an apartment.

He said he’d borrowed $100,000 from JD and had yet to repay the money. “He’s an ubermensch, he’s generous to everybody. He’s a true, honest man; he’s a good guy. He does the right thing, he knows how to do the right thing. He’s someone you wanna care about because he does the right thing.”

AH’s friends lived in neighboring apartments, also owned by JD , including Raquel “Rocky” Pennington and her then-fiancee Josh Drew.

Defense attorney Wass asked IB if all the people who lived in the apartments next to JD and AH “lived like almost family?” IB said, “That’s exactly what it was, like friends, family, in this amazing top floor of this building. Five beautiful apartments and everybody enjoying what Johnny was funding.”

He said that on May 21, 2016 he found AH and a group of her friends changing the locks to the apartments. Her marriage to JD was collapsing.

“I greeted everyone and asked what was going on” he told the court. “Ms. Heard, whose demeanor I would describe at that moment as being very animated and in control, informed me that Mr. Depp had come by the night before and got violent and that she was now changing the locks on all the doors to penthouses 1, 3 and 5.”

AH also introduced IB to a private security guard, and said “he would be hanging around.” “I was surprised and taken back as to what she just told me and said something like, ‘wait, what happened?’” Drew told him JD “was drunk and got angry,” had hit AH and threw a phone at her. AH’s friends said they were going to stay to “protect Ms. Heard just in case Mr. Depp should come back and get violent again.”

IB said he didn’t see any marks on AH’s face when she alleged JD had struck her with a telephone. “She told me that he hit her in the face and threw a phone at her. I then asked her where he had hit her, and she stretched her neck and pushed out the right side of her head for me to look at her right eye.”

“We both were standing in front of the open doorway of Penthouse 1. With lights from the hallway and the sunlight that came in through the windows from Penthouse 1, which filled the room and spread into the hallway, it was very easy for me to get an excellent view of Ms. Heard’s face.” He was literally about 12” from her, inspected her face and didn’t see a single mark, bruising or swelling of any kind anywhere on her face.

She wasn’t wearing make-up and her face looked natural and normal as he'd seen it over the past 3 years when hanging out together around the apartments.

IB said he saw her often over the next few days, without injuries, until she went to court sporting a bruised cheek which she said came from the altercation with JD.

The trial continues Monday, when AH will take the stand.
