Seems this judge would have been more acceptable to Andrea Lyon, huh? ... I still think she left because Judge Perry took over ... she knew she would get nowhere with this judge ...

I'm kind of wondering when, where and how this "training" took place. There are only 3 years separating the time these 2 judges were first elected to their positions and they are in different counties. They didn't ever actually work together as far as I can see. I'd like to know more about this "training". Guess I'm not buying what WESH is selling.

I don't know what Judge Eaton taught Judge Perry, but I like that Judge Perry clearly learned how to use common sense. Maybe he taught Judge Perry how not to be a judge? :waitasec:

Bob Kealing (sp) quoted the judge as saying the "sides are equally matched." Sounds slanted to the defense, too. He mustn't have read the motions filed by both sides or seen them argue except that one time, or he would know better.

Well we know the defense lawyers are no match for the state prosecutors ... and the defense experts (the ones that stuck around) ... and the witnesses for the state are certainly more impressive than the defense ... and on and on ...
all in all that's a pretty ridiculous statement ...

WOW! Now that makes me angry! I take back what I said about his viewpoint being invaluable! If he would sentence a man to 10 days probation for sex with a 12 year old then I don't think anything he says will interest me! I hope NG or someone else gets wind of this one! I'd like it to be public knowledge before he starts spouting off about poor little KC A and the big, mean SA! Of course, he does fit right in with the rest of this sordid bunch! :banghead:

I do find it interesting that Judge Eaton wrote his guest blog regarding Dean Cannon after CM has publicly stated that he would depose Cannon in the Greer case.

I admire Judge Perry and am confident in his rulings and handling of this case. He will not be intimidated by Judge Eaton and is quite capable of making his decisions without help! It would not be surprising to learn that Eaton's involvement with WESH was orchestrated by CM. JB and CM know they don't have much of a chance of getting their client off unless they resort to such shenanigans.

What is it about the Casey Anthony case that brings out everyone with an agenda and the lure of quick cash...Is the Judge doing this for free? or, is there a payday and maybe redemption and justification for his questionable acquittal of a woman who let 2 children die in her care when she fell asleep. I consider that a nasty stain on his career.
It would seem to me that this judges appearance at a court proceeding for his friend CM was done as much to intimidate HHJP as show support for his defense cronies.

Now the dirty tricks continue, the driving force behind this without a doubt is still Lyon she I'm sure is chief adviser and puppeteer, they should all be very ashamed of this attempt to manipulate justice via the media. They will lose but the cost of justice for Caylee has come at a the expense of honor, integrity and reputation. This is my opinion only....

Yes, Aedrys, I was just sitting here thinking about the previous case and wondering how it would be possible to draw the same analogy with Caylee's death.
There is nothing the DT has presented to date that indicates they are going in that direction. And if they do switch, there is a mountain of forensics to overcome. A mountain too high for the DT to climb.
But I can also see why WESH would be interested in having him as an analyst, especially since RH has come out as being so critical of Baez.

During Dr. G's depo CM went into questioning about an accidental drowning so there is a small correlation and the DT have GA and CA's original statements about the pool ladder. I've always thought they will try and indicate an accident. According to the legal experts they don't need proof to suggest it.

If that does happen with this judge I am counting on RH to be the rational unbiased expert. If he is a spokesman then we know he will be following the evidence during that time. He has always been honest and right when he is able to keep up with the facts.

ETA: Just remembered the recent info about Caylee's bathing suit also in Casey's trunk. Chlorine/chloroform tie in and Tony's pool mentioned. I would not be surprised in the least for JB to have stolen RH's excuse for the duct tape being put there after Caylee drowned to contain fluids. Another pool/drowning indication.

I'm also hoping we see a comment from Bill Scheaffer regarding Judge Eaton's new job. So far he is the only "rock" out there I rely on for comments - the others seem to be playing - "how long can we keep this game going for our ratings". InSessions seem to be particularly bad at that, not to mention JVM :banghead:.

NG is back in the saddle. Can you imagine her as a judge? Someone just said she went to law school with Judge Stickland. I know KB goes to BS for the legal analysis but we still have her with a lot of strong support from her station.
