I thought I read somewhere that DP was at work at the estimated time of death??? Is this true?

I thought I read somewhere that DP was at work at the estimated time of death??? Is this true?

DP was at work, on patrol, on the Monday evening that Kathleen Savio's body was found. According to Steve Carcerano, DP was in his patrol car when he stopped and asked Steve to meet him at Kathleen's house, along with the next-door neighbor, Mary, and a locksmith.

According to the findings in the first autopsy report, Dr. Baden explained that the estimated time of death was at least 36 hours prior to finding the body. The estimated time of death would be the wee hours of Sunday morning.

DP was off work Saturday night/Sunday morning and claims he was at home asleep in bed. But the pastor stated that Stacy told him that DP had confessed to Stacy that he had killed Kathleen. The pastor said that Stacy told him that she woke up to find DP gone and called his cell phone at least several times. She told the pastor that DP came home in the early morning hours that Sunday morning, dressed in black. She said DP took off all his clothing and put it in the washing machine. There was also mention of other clothing DP had with him that disappeared. So DP doesn't have an alibi.

This is why the telephone records are important. If the records show a number of calls from DP's home phone to his cell phone in the middle of the night - Saturday night/Sunday morning - it will show that he wasn't at home asleep in bed as he claims.

Man! I was sure I'd get on here tonight and read that DP had been arrested and charged with Kathleen's murder.

LOL, it seems like LE likes to make big arrests late on a Fri. They have one news conference, then are unavailable all weekend.
