Caught a live FB stream from a news company saying "Mom thought Dad had her, Dad thought Mom had her."

Whatever. We all know how this will go.

Oh that is rich. I take it they don't live in the same house together? I mean, I could see if it was a matter of minutes or hours even, thinking this, but almost two days? Do they really expect us to buy this story?

Assuming that the child was with say, the Mom, when she was last seen. Are they trying to tell us that the person that last saw her didn't know that she left the house without the other parent's knowledge? So if Mom saw her last at that time, she didn't see the father come into the home and take her, without him saying he had her? Or vis a versa?

That's assuming that they don't live in the same house. It would be worse if they did live together- how can you not know your child isn't home if both parents are there?

Something's hinky with this. Another nap story?

I suppose their minds were on other things.:worms:

Was parents separated? Why she up so late?

To be fair, she could have been cutting molars or had an ear infection as a result of teething/cutting molars. Two of my children went through rough spells and were up all hours of the night when they were teething or their molars started coming in. My other child had no issues luckily for them. Also, there is the flu going around, too, among other illnesses, that could cause a child to be up feeling miserable.

exactly! She's 2! How did you not know for 2 days! Poor little doll. Hoping for some good news.

Anyone who dresses their child in a diaper/pull-up only, in this weather, isn't going to be kept up by teething issues with a child (IMO).

I am dying to know how a child could go missing for two days and neither parent thought a thing about it. Not buying the "he/she thought she was with the other parent" line.

Sitting on my hands. Stifling myself.

Believe me, I am on the same wavelength as you. Just saying that a child up that late at night at her age is common during teething stages, ear infections, flus, etc. Also, if she had a fever, the parent might have done what our parents did when I was growing up- underwear only with just a sheet on top, to "freeze" the fever out, so to speak. Believe me, that stunk, and it just made me feel worse, but some parents swear by it.

I am getting more pissed off the more I think about this. I hope they release more info soon. I wonder if there's any scanner traffic on this. Is there any sort of active search? I mean, obviously the police probably know more than us...and I'm guessing it could be a lot at this point.

No clue, but I just might go there to see if anything is going on.

That makes no sense since msm is reporting that she was last seen in her home. Are the parents saying one of them sneaked into their house and took Iviona? Uh uh, not buying it. Yes, this isn't going to end well IMO.

The Hoisington Police Department, Fire Department, EMS, Kansas Highway Patrol and the Barton County Sheriff's Office are conducting door to door searches.
