Doing some research it looks like Hilt could have some ties to Harrisonville and possibly the Belton area. Also, It appears that Joseph Mattox possibly has a relative that lives on 245th in Harrisonville, just down the road from the intersection of K Hwy and 235.

I have cousins that live in that area. I'll call them and see if they know anything about these guys.

I also think of Kara Kopetsky. Still no news, at least not that I've heard. Also, Renee Pernice has not been found.

Police say the body of an 18-year-old Kansas woman who had been missing for nearly a week was found in a farm field in rural Missouri and three are in custody in her murder.

Friends told FOX4KC.com that Hilt had dated Alyea for a couple of years and they were not surprised he had been named a suspect.


Both had tattoos of each other's names on their bodies, but the couple's relationship was tumultuous, the friends said.


"I don't know how many times she's called me because Dustin had hit her, or her and Dustin had gotten into a huge argument and it got a little confrontational," ex-boyfriend Jaymes Beebe told the station. "It was not a good relationship."


Beebe said Hilt had "gotten her hooked on drugs really bad," and she "got clean when she stopped talking to him."

Fortunately/Unfortunately (however you look at it) you're missing out on the full effects of the trauma that is myspace gadgets and sound and wallpapers. There was a scrolling background of marijuana leaves, a video on marijuana (I didn't watch it) and the Gansta Paradise song playing. But at least his awesome picture of himself is still up.

I haven't heard, or read, but I wonder what led LE to where her body was located? This may be out there (or even on this thread), but I haven't had the time to read about what's going on with this case. I am just glad they found her.

It would be nice if we could prevent this from happening again.

After the charges were read in court, it was hard for Alyea&#8217;s friends to hold back their emotions.

&#8220;I have no mercy for him at all,&#8221; said a longtime friend of Alyea&#8217;s, Jessika Beebe.

Alyea&#8217;s family has planned a candlelight vigil for the young woman at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Westside Family Church, 8500 Woodsonia Drive in Lenexa.

Alyea lived with Beebe&#8217;s family for several years. Beebe and others said they watched Hilt display irrational behavior around Alyea. They also saw bruises, which Alyea told them that Hilt had inflicted, said Beebe&#8217;s brother, Chris Monslow, 16, of Kansas City, Kan.

Monslow had been friends with Hilt and Alyea. The two used crack cocaine together, but the relationship and her drug use stopped.

Keighley Alyea's former boyfriend, his cousin and his best friend were charged Tuesday with first-degree murder, aggravated kidnapping and aggravated robbery after the 18-year-old's body was found in a field in rural Cass County.

All three appeared in Johnson County court to face murder, kidnapping and robbery charges. Alyea's best friend, Jessika Beebe, said she told detectives Hilt was behind her friend's disappearance.

Beebe said on the day Alyea disappeared she talked of getting back together with Hilt again. Beebe claims she tried to talk Alyea out of it, because Hilt had gotten her hooked on drugs. Beebe said she fell asleep and when she woke up, Alyea was gone.

Police had been searching two homes in Johnson County, Kan., earlier in the day -- one in Overland Park and the other in Shawnee. Policed collected evidence and took pictures at each of the scenes.

The body was found in a field near East 235th Street and State Route K just north of Harrisonville. The public information officer for the Cass County sheriff told KCTV5's Greg Adeline that the body was found near the north fence line. The body was found about a quarter to a half mile away from the roadway.

Dillard said that within the last few weeks Alyea woke up one night to the sound of Hilt tapping on her window. When she woke up, she realized that Hilt also had tried to contact her several times by phone, but the phone was on vibrate and she didn&#8217;t hear it.

Gammill said that Hilt didn&#8217;t have a place to live.

Beebe told KCTV5 that she wasn't surprised that Dustin Hilt was one of three men charged with Alyea's slaying. She said Hilt and Alyea dated for about two years and he was violent and controlling toward her.

"He's abusive,&#8221; Beebe said. "He's so abusive. He beat her and she was scared of him."

Last Tuesday night, Beebe spent the night at Alyea's apartment and she said she tried to warn her to stay away from Hilt. But she said her advice was ignored. It was the last time Beebe saw her friend alive.

"I knew Dustin had something to do with it from day one," she said. "When I was at her house she was talking about going to get Dustin. I tried to talk her out of it. I fell asleep and she left."

Hilt&#8217;s next court date was set for Oct. 15.

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. -- The father of one of the men charged with murdering 18-year-old Keighley Alyea told KCTV5 exclusively he is in shock over the charges against his 18-year-old son.

"Its a helpless feeling," Derek Bohlken, father of Gerald Scott Calbeck, said.

Bohlken said he's dealing with shock, pain and disbelief. His son was one of three men charged Tuesday with the murder of Alyea.

"He's 18 but he's still a kid to us," Bohlken said. "He's never been violent, never been in trouble. It's devastating."
