Attorneys for Taylor’s family say Taylor’s boyfriend, fearing a home invasion, fired a single shot toward noise he heard coming from the front door. Police, attorneys say, responded by firing off more than 20 rounds, some of which traveled into nearby apartments.

Eight of those shots found Taylor in an apartment hallway, ending a life that began June 5, 1993, in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Until 2016, she served as an emergency medical technician for Louisville Metro Emergency Medical Services.

Most recently, she worked at Norton Hospital as a PRN and at Jewish Hospital as an ER technician.

Walker, 27, her boyfriend, was unharmed but he was arrested on charges of attempted murder of a police officer and first-degree assault after one of the shots he allegedly fired struck Sgt. John Mattingly, according to the reports.

Walker pleaded not guilty to the charges, which later were dropped.

A white father and son were arrested and charged with Arbery's murder, after they alleged believed him to be a burglar.

From your link above, “About 12:40 a.m. March 13, three plainclothes officers arrived at Taylor’s apartment, armed with a “no-knock” search warrant, which gave them the authority to enter without announcing their presence.“

Police are insisting they knocked and announced before breaking in but apparently there is are multiple neighbours who dispute that. Boyfriend calls 911 to report a break in and fires a shot from his licensed gun and hits one of the officers in the leg and the officers unloaded. No drugs were found, neither Breonna nor her boyfriend are who the officers were looking for (An exboyfriend who didn’t live there) and apparently the person they were actually looking for was already found earlier at another location and in custody.

I’m curious about the discrepancy between the information used to support the “no knock” part of the warrant. It sounds like it hinges on the “packages” that the police say we’re confirmed by the postal inspector which the postal inspector says didn’t exist.

Someone is not being honest there. The postal inspector has no skin in the game for them getting that warrant either way so why would he lie? I could not figure out which investigator presented the postal service information to the judge who issued the warrant. Did I miss it? I may have... but I’d be interested to know.

This case is so awful. The 911 call from her boyfriend after she's shot...He doesn't seem to know it was the cops at all. He thinks someone broke in, like burglars doing a home invasion. THEREFORE, THEY DID NOT ANNOUNCE. There is NO FAKING this on a 911 call when your girlfriend is laying beside you dying. If he knew it was cops he would've said so....and all is quiet in the background. Where are they ? Usually they would be trashing the house loudly. But no noise at all. No one yelling "Police" no one coming in to help THE PERSON THEY KNOW THEY JUST SHOT. Just him, scared and alone with his girlfriend close to death beside him. It makes me think the cops enjoy these no knocks, like its fun, like they're playing a video game. This case should scare everybody about the overreach of law enforcement shooting an innocent young woman sleeping in her home. AND GUESS WHO WOULD HAVE BEEN THE ONE SAVING THEIR LIVES IF THEY GOT SHOT? BREONNA WHO WAS AN E.M.T.

No wonder officers get away with so much until they actually kill an innocent person, they put the bad ones, knowing they are bad, in positions that affect discipline decisions. And then their system is so broken in that even now they can’t/won’t remove him from the Merit board. All IMO of course.
