There is an article out where the neighbour is speaking - He says “was” several times while taking about Kenneth

I know, figure of speech? Hopefully.
I’m really glad KSP is on this, they can travel from jurisdiction to jurisdiction so much easier. Moo. Sometimes local SO gets bogged down.

I’ve looked back through the beginning of the thread and have read all of the linked articles. I still have no clue about the baby’s mother. It she the wife the father refers to in his interview? Why is she not seen or quoted at all?

Who is DBM and if DBM can post about the baby’s mom, why can’t someone else do the same? Please and thank you.

Dbm = deleted by me

I think LE is on top of this & things will turn out well.
They obviously see no reason for an “official search”, so imo we can conclude they know where he is or that he didn’t wander off. Now, maybe this is more about “finding” someone or a vehicle. Jmo

Yes, and their resources, personnel and budget, especially in a county like this one, are limited, even to include volunteer searchers, etc. And KSP has more of everything that a county just wouldn't have -- experienced personnel, money, organizational experience, quicker access to lab resources, investigators and certainly mobility and authority.
Maybe this little guy has been or will be seen somewhere with someone -- more resources for that; evaluating camera film; access to RSO records, etc., etc., etc. Maybe they already know something no other person or group knows...
Still hopeful.

You think someone snatched him up while the father ran inside for a brief minute?

Complete stranger or someone known to him?

Seems like the end of a rural private drive would be extremely unlikely for it to be a case of random abduction doesn't it?

The father of the missing Magoffin County toddler is talking for the first time, and he says he has no idea how his son vanished Sunday night.

‘It's just like he disappeared'

WKYT
Sorry, but I think this means he was missing longer than a short span of time. Someone was probably distracted long enough for him to completely disappear. If he walked out the door and uphill into the woods, or if he was picked up by someone, that takes some time - enough time to notice he wasn't there, IMO

Thank you Trudy, I meant who is DRM. Someone said DRM posted about the mom upthread but I can’t find it.

Is there a reason that people don’t want tell any info about the mom? Surely locals and the local media have some info.

Nothing has been stated in MSM except the brief statement from the father that he and the mother are pretty shook up

When it comes to family of victims only those specific things that are stated via MSM or a LE release can be discussed here

Absolutely. Maybe they did from the beginning but searched ‘just in case’.
If the cute little guy did exit the back door, I truly think he would have found things right there, in his yard, to hold his attention. I don’t believe he wandered off in almost darkness & a cold nor’easter wind with misting rain.
Wind gusts were horrible north of Sville, I assume the same there. Anyone with a toddler probably agrees if you put him outside at dusk in nasty weather he’s going to scream, kick the door & throw a tantrum. So, I just don’t see it. Jmo

Oh, Idk. But if snatched, I think it’d be someone known to one parent. Jmo
What do you Think? Ty

Thank you abo1!
Very interesting, that LE makes no
mention of her in releases. MOO

Of course. It's his yard and I'm sure he's played in it tons of times. Even if he did sneak out the back door, why would he decide to enter the woods and travel uphill away from everything he knows? Unless -are there paths there? Maybe someone has taken him for a walk back there preciously and he would follow that trail a bit. I'm with you that he would be content to stay and play right there and not walk off into the unknown. JMO

Yeah, I don't believe this was a stranger abduction at all. There are several other scenarios that I'd put at the top of the list above that one.

I think its highly likely someone known to the child was involved in the disappearance.

I'm a bit surprised though that the father wouldn't have seen or heard someone come up that private gravel drive etc. if it was an abduction

I'm honestly not sure what to think, but the longer the child goes with out being located in these cases, the likelihood that they have a tragic outcome increases immensely

If it was a stranger abduction that child needs to be located rather quickly

Without knowing the family dynamic its hard to speculate weather there were custody issues etc, although if there were I think LE would clarify that

Time will tell pray for the best, But I fear the worst

I guess it depends where dad was if a vehicle did come up the drive. Again, idk. Maybe someone crept in from the back.
Sometimes less said is best, as far as LE goes.
They are not asking for help......ya know.
