I think that the RP are considered lead. Fayette and GC probably turned evidence over to them, and assist if needed, in addition to the KSP playing a big role. I really doubt anyone would find me if I went missing in my county. We just don't have the manpower.

Lol the state is FULL of those types of police departments and sheriff's offices. That's why KSP is so helpful in a lot of the smaller counties.

I think it's possible she was drugged at the bar. What if she planned, and only had one drink, and it was spiked with something? The alcohol and whatever drug could have been even more dangerous due to her recently giving birth. Some time later at the house she could have been very ill, and who knows what happened next.

<modsnip> I don't think this is what happened to SS, only b/c she seemed to be standing on her own in the photos, (just cold), and I don't think they'd have ever allowed her to FT w/her mom, in that vehicle.

RICHMOND, Ky. – Authorities say they have new information about where a Kentucky mother went the night she vanished in early January.

Richmond Police Lt. Col. Rodney Richardson told Fox News that three men took 22-year-old Savannah Spurlock to a rural Garrard County home, 40 miles from the bar she was at that evening.

“We know that she ended up at a home in Garrard County some time after leaving the bar with these three men,” Richardson told Fox. “They did not know Savannah prior to meeting her at the bar.”

Police said Spurlock rode in the backseat of one vehicle, along with two of the men. The third man drove a separate vehicle.

Lt. Col. Richardson said one of the men told investigators that Spurlock left the house later that morning on Jan. 4, but authorities have not confirmed that.

Spurlock’s mother, Ellen Spurlock, said she didn’t think Savannah, who was dressed in high heels and had no coat or vehicle, would have left on her own.

Nor do they have the budgets. Fayette ranks in the top wealthiest counties in the state, but, that's not where she actually went missing from. She went missing from a county with a LED that does not have the resources, nor budget, to take this on.

KSP has a great “missing persons” task force or unit, imo.

Richmond PD is well funded though. They had enough surplus to give 4% raises to all their city employees this past year. The PD was able to hire 5 new officers so they have 61 officers total. They patrol 24/7. For being a smaller city than somewhere like Louisville, they have similar units in addition to criminal investigations and narcotics. They get a lot of money for their budget because the school is in Richmond.

Why would LE want the public to know one man said SS left the house in the morning?
I've been thinking about that and I am of the opinion the two truck guys partied then left with only one guy and Savannah in the house.
Riding off of that he would be the only one left to explain Savannah 's whereabouts.
That also eliminates any caving in and telling because maybe she was mostly alright when they left.
There's been a lot of speculation that one of the three would tell on another but if what I wrote happened nothing to tell!

Sadly enough, after a month, she (Savannah) could be anywhere....
The case that brought me here was a 38 year-old cold case that involved a 25 year-old college student missing from an airport baggage area. She (what was left of her) was found eight years later-over thirty miles away. In a secluded wooded area where a woman walking her dog made the discovery. Her abductor was never found. Incredibly disturbing but you still try to rationalize it.

The more I read of her track that night, the more I think she had been roofied or something to that effect.

The 40-50 minutes it took to get there might not have registered as being too far away for just partying at someone's house nearby.

She was taken to a place she couldn't get out of, especially if her phone was removed or "turned off"

Madison is a Transitional county (transitioning between strong and weak economics) but has at least five distressed areas, and a poverty rate of at least 20%. They increased their tax rates, last year, to the highest allowed w/o a public vote, that's how they got those raises.

IMO, she would have went to TX, if it meant partying & that’s okay, she is an adult & free to make her choices. I personally don’t think anyone had to “slip” her drugs to elevate her condition. Moo moo

Yup & the raises are nominal. Might bring home ten bucks a week more. Wow. Shattering.

So she didn’t have custody or is this arraignment just because she is missing?

I found information about the children and where they're staying in this article. I was looking for info about Savannah's wallet being left in her car and found it in this article too. Says her purse was also with the wallet. Not understanding this because of her carrying a purse in the photos. Wondering if the men took her to her car before traveling to the two homes.

Wanted some facts from the media and not from FB groups so here it is.

I think LE suspects all three are involved in her death or even if one is involved in the aftermath, and cover up.

While missing body murder cases are certainly successfully won now more than ever before, they do take a much longer investigation, before the suspect or suspects are finally arrested.

I imagine all three are being tight lipped believing as of now 'no body no case.'

So there isn't any logical reason now for anyone to spill the beans.

It makes sense Savannah would have stayed with the man she's seen close to and has her arm wrapped through his. I'm thinking these two left as a couple and ended up being alone together. I'm also thinking the men did take Savannah to her car before traveling to one or two of the homes mentioned and she left her purse and wallet behind in her car. That would explain why her Mom said she had no money to leave by herself but she would have had money while at the bar for drinks etc.

I don't know why she would leave money, possibly ID too in her car unless she didn't trust them but then why would she go with them? Strange.

Local article today:

Police urge citizens to take extra safety precaution

With the ongoing search for Savannah Spurlock, the death of Amanda Bailey and the reported sexual assault incident that occurred near EKU’s campus Sunday, the Richmond community is feeling a bit uneasy.

I thought the sexual assault on EKU's campus was a male? That's the way it was reported.I am still stunned by some of the insinuations that these crimes, along with Brookelyn Farthing's, are being committed by the same person.

I agree. Maybe people find it easier to deal with the idea that there's a single source of torment. The alternative would suggest that dangerous people are numerous and everywhere. Not very comforting.

Some of us were wondering where a second home was that Savannah supposedly was last at and left the house on her own.

After reading the articles published once again, am posting one of the articles. It was new information because one of the men said she left the house and that was the house all three men and Savannah went to. I'm still not sure this was the home where one of the men lived with his parents. I now am understanding this saying the three men and her only went to one house and she left on her own.

In many of the recent articles it is saying, Savannah was transported in the backseat with two men and one man was following in a truck. This goes against what was first reported and who would be driving? Would leave more then three people in the car if the third guy was following in another vehicle. Savannah's Mom said, Savannah was in the passenger seat of the car and an African American man was driving.

Not understanding how this mistake is being repeated by so many news outlets.

I'm still catching up here but woahhh, where are you seeing people linking Brookelyn's case to this one?? I really do not think the same person is to blame for SS and BF's disappearances. What are other people's thoughts on this connection? I agree with you- that is stunning.
