Even if we suggest she thought she was being taken to her car immediately, that does not preclude her intending to go home later that morning. She may have intended to go to GC in her own car so she could leave when she pleased. She very well may have believed they were giving her a ride to her car first.
You said this way better than I did . Maybe that is why she didn't seem upset when she FT'd her mom. She was thinking she was going to get her car .

Regarding her hanging up on her mom, maybe the men encouraged her to call back and tell her mom she was okay, because they planned to harm her and wanted mom not to think anything was wrong or call police.

If savannah thought they were taking her to her car then why did she say 'il be back in a few hours'??? Surely doesnt take that long to get back to her car and drive home? Not hours? And why would she go straight back to her car and drive intoxicated when shes just had a DUI? Would she really do that again and risk getting caught?

I’ll say this again, and add something else to answer your last question.

She also may have believed she was getting a ride back to her car, which many of us believe was left at a friend’s apartment. She may have intended to call it a night, crash there, and drive back in the morning.

I think the little boy needs to be prepared for the idea that his mom won’t be back...a therapist is a good idea imo. Did he live with Savannah fulltime? Either way, if he did or didn’t...he has to be helped to figure out whatever comes next...

What if she isn’t found...how does anyone ever incorporate that into their lives...:(

Even if she drove her own car to their house she would still be intoxicated ( assuming she drank which she probably did seen as she was at a bar) Probably a big risk to get caught and get another DUI

Why do posters have such a hard time accepting what is known? She left the bar & had no intention of returning home until the morning.

It was already morning when she left the bar. According to her mother, she called and said she'd be home "later that morning", implying that it would be sometime within the next few hours. Yes, she left the bar. That's not the question. The question is when she left, where did she think she was going? I haven't seen anyone arguing that she left the bar and that she wasn't going to be home until later.

Savannah Spurlock’s dad says her son doesn’t know she’s missing

Surveillance video shows Spurlock leaving The Other Bar in Lexington around 2:30 a.m. with three men in the early morning hours of Jan. 4. A short time later, Spurlock FaceTimed her mother to tell her she would be home in the morning – but then something went wrong.

She FaceTimed me right back from a car, and she said, ‘Everything is fine. I’m just having fun with friends. I promise I will be home later this morning.’

I don't recall her saying she'd be back "in a few hours." I've only seen it quoted as "later that morning." She Facetimed at 2:30 am. It could take a good hour to get back home, especially if she stopped at a gas station or there was traffic. 3:30 am would still be "later that morning".

I read it on this board earlier in her disappearance and in several news articles that she told her mum she would be back in 'a few hours'.

Yeah, there’s a lot of discrepancy. As we all know, in every case, msm articles disappear or get edited, too. It’s hard for a newcomer to a case to catch up, it’s overwhelming, imo.
HLN just did a clip with the purse image.
What’s msm?

Mainstream media
google maps shows it to be rural, there are other houses around but other than that its farm land and again if authorities talked to neighbors they havent let us in on that.
I don’t have a link, but AFAIK the rural parents’ house isn’t the same house where she was last confirmed. There was another house, within Lancaster city limits, that was searched before the Perkins house. For whatever reason the media never caught wind of it, but it was searched.

Edit: I’m not 100% sure of the rules yet, so if this isn’t allowed, please delete.

Here's a link talking about how the two went to Lexington around 10 pm that night. I can probably find the other article where it mentions the friends going to a male friends apartment in Lexington and then going to the bar.

Thanks for posting this, I found this but it didn't have the information about the male friend who lived in Lexington. In one article I had read it said the male friends home and not apt. I had read apt. a bunch when reading the thread but in one of the articles it said home so I noticed they were reporting it differently but home could means apt too. I was going to continue looking today to try and find the article telling us all of the information and post it, hopefully today.
I have spent a lot of time reading all media reports trying to find what sounds like fact since we know much of what has been reported has many reported differently by the media sources. Also when I Google I find recent reports and have a difficult time finding reporting from when she first was missing.

Here's the other link and I've copied and pasted the part about stopping at the friends apartment in Lexington
"On the night of Thursday, Jan. 3, Savannah left their house in Ellen’s car with a female friend. The females stopped at a male friend’s house in Lexington and together the three got into a different car bound for a bar in Lexington."

Missing Kentucky mom's ex-boyfriend, mother shed light on disappearance

Yea you found it. Thanks so much for posting this.

You don't need links for things that have been accepted earlier in the thread. I probably upset people when I point out things that seem petty that have not been stated in msm but I feel its important to keep the thread on track.

Thanks for sharing this about, you don't need links for things that have been accepted earlier in the thread. That's what made sense to me. I have moderated a vBulletin discussion forum so my experience does help me out when using this forum but this forum has a lot of rules and I'm still learning just how the moderators apply the rules on the forum.
