"He became enraged after she would not do with him what she did with the other two."

Please explain what you mean by this.

I know you are not asking me, but I took that to mean sex of some form.

I do sometimes wonder if there was a racial component to this. The other men are both AA and DS might have felt particularly slighted/engraged if he has a racist mindset.

It appears SS did prefer AA men (father of some if not all of her children) so that scenario makes a lot of sense. DS even looks a bit disgruntled in the surveillance video.

If the cell phone video that was supposedly take of Savannah preforming a sex acts on each of them is true, than I don't see how DS could have felt that way or that Savannah might have rejected DS because he wasn't African American.

I would imagine the video was shown to the other coworkers before it was even known Savannah was missing. So I don't discredit the neighbors story.

JMO

Neighbors tell DailyMail.com the men she left the bar with took cell phone video of Spurlock performing a sex act on each of them and showed it others at work

'They took cell phone video of her. The guys were showing it around at work. She was so drunk she couldn't speak, it was like she couldn't speak English.'

Bingo. I was afraid to say something that might get me in trouble.

This article makes me want to puke. What jerks.

We have seen other cases where the assaulters were arrested because they KNEW the person was highly intoxicated at the time unable to make clear choices.

All sound like garbage, and to show it to others is beyond replusive.

I know if this video exist LE will get it, and I hope they are all charged like others have been when they also took advantage of someone they all knew was highly intoxicated at the time. And they clearly knew it, but didnt care when they said she couldn't even speak English. Ugh!

Thanks for your response. There's been some discussion about "consensual" sex and I find it disturbing.

I have no doubt Savannah's mother accurately assessed Savannah's condition that night. She said when she face-timed with her, Savannah was extremely intoxicated.

JMO, if Savannah was intoxicated, or if she took or was given drugs, and if any if these men had sex with Savannah that night, it was rape. The fact that she was found buried with her feet bound suggests to me she struggled and was rendered unable to escape.

All JMO

From what I read, Savannah's mother only said she could tell she was intoxicated. Never read any mention of Savanna's mother describing Savannah's condition as being "extremely intoxicated". If you have a link to that information please share.

And according to Savannah's mother Savannah didn't seem to be in distress at the time of the Facetime call.

"Savannah did not seem to be in distress at the time of the FaceTime call, although Ellen could tell she was intoxicated," Spurlock's family said.

Yes, it sounds like if SS was unable to talk, she wasn't in a condition to legally give consent according to KY law, so if indeed there's video evidence, there might be more charges .
This link has KY consent laws, but you have to scroll to view them because they're arranged in question form and alphabetically by state: https://apps.rainn.org/policy/policy-crime-definitions-export.cfm?state=Kentucky&group=9

If SS was murdered, I would want those responsible prosecuted to the fullest. That being said, I sense some posters are hoping she was murdered which I really don't understand. jmo

Let’s put it this way. I believe that she was murdered. Therefore, I hope that there is evidence to bring her murderer/murderers to justice.

Why I think she was murdered? I do not think that, if a stranger dies accidentally in your home, you are going to bury her in a shallow grave in your parents’ back yard. If there’s any evidence to show she was NOT murdered—then, fine. I don’t WANT her to have been murdered.

Do I have a right to believe that she was murdered? Definitely. ‘Innocent until proven guilty’ is a legal concept designed to protect the accused, not designed to control the thoughts of private citizens.

Like I said before, this guy is toast.

Sure I wish Savannah did not have to endure this horror and an accident is a nicer albeit still tragic outcome. But the evidence, c’mon, he’s toast. The amount of evidence (just that we know about) is overwhelming IMO. The manner in which she was found points to guilt. You do not bound someone in that manner, bury them, and cover up the scene of the crime because you are an innocent nice guy caught in a bad situation.

IMHO I believe this was a hate crime. Time will tell hopefully but I have felt this way from the beginning when she was initially missing and I trust my gut. Again IMOO

Bravo!!

Idk what toxicology testing typically consists of but I hope they are also testing for Kratom, an over the counter and legal substance that might also explain what happened that night. More readily available than other opioids and likely might explain wth really happened that night. Again IMHO

Do you think the hate involved was toward women? If you don't want to be specific about that, that's ok. JMO, I have suspected hatred toward women.

I think the most likely scenario is that she was murdered. I hope I'm wrong.

I believe it was a hate crime because Savannah was attracted to African American men and that didn’t sit well with DS. Until we see or learn the results of the autopsy, we will never know the cause of death, if then. Again this is only my opinion but how else do you explain it?
It wasn’t an accident or he would have come forward in the beginning. It wasn’t an accident or they wouldn’t have found blood in his closet and she wouldn’t have been found in a rug. This was no accident and I hope and pray the autopsy confirms a cause of death. If it was indeed a hate crime surely there must be someone or more who can attest to this.

Thanks for your response. I don't think it was an accident, either. In cases murder, there's always a motive and you may be correct in your theory. I do find it interesting that the names of the AA males have not been released and they have not been charged with any crime to date. Hopefully we'll learn more soon.

A man killing a woman because she likes men of a different race doesn't qualify as a hate crime. jmo

I hope the timeline comes out about what evidence the police had including the video evidence. I want to know where SS's body was during the first searches. Was she alive being held somewhere during that time? I want to find out what the decision process was for the three guys to take her and if they had planned on taking a drunk girl home. Who goes around showing friends and coworkers videos like that? It says a lot about where society is going.
