The New Iberia Police Department is asking for help from the public is locating a missing woman.

20-year-old Deja Cummings has not had contact with family members since October 9th, according to police.

Cummings is described by police as being 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighing 115 pounds.

Anyone who knows Deja’s whereabouts is asked to contact the New Iberia Police Department at (337) 369-2306.

Police say 20-year-old Deja Cummings was last seen on October 9 at Mike’s Inn Motel on W. Main Street.

She was with a group of friends, police said, however her family has not heard from her or seen her since.

We don't know why this happened or what led up to it, but it's very sad so many MP cases end up like this.

A Broussard woman is being sought on charges of accessory after the fact to murder.

According to New Iberia Police, 21-year-old Cassidy Linch is now a person of interest in regard to the investigation of the disappearance of Deja Cummings.
