Hmm. MAS & TS must not be saying squat

The longer they're quiet, the more I think another person was involved.

They know they are on video with the victim more than once, but they're evidently not talking about their activities up to their arrest.

I have several thoughts, but all wild speculation.

I'll await additional tidbits.

The reason they are not saying anything is .If they did they are admitting they did it. Have the same thing going on in Sierra case. Suspect locked up saying zilch.

If that's the case, then either the other dancers that were approached that night also know something and they were targets too or they are lying about being approached. What do you think?

This is so true. I think the die was cast for Jaren that night simply because she was willing to go with them. It could have been anyone who was willing.

Sorry. I'm not following. The last body part was found in Pass Christian. Long Beach is east of Pass Christian.

Sounds like they're searching for a weapon so they're starting at the pier in LB and working their way back westward where the body parts were found.

I don't think they lead JL out to party at all. I think there was an argument about possibly things JL knew and maybe had told MAS she knew. Who in turn told TS . That is why I think they went there with one thing in mind.IMHO

Not sure I'm in agreement, here. I'm not 100% certain, but I think the link was between JL and TS, not JL and MAS. I don't think, aside from passing encounters, that they even knew each other. There is, however, evidence that JL knew and may have trusted TS, and given the circumstances of TS and MAS trying to pick up other dancers first makes that a pretty far stretch. They didn't walk into the club looking like they were there on business.

That's not to say they didn't walk in there with a specific purpose in mind... I just don't think they walked in there with a particular set of prior business with JL, other than perhaps they've seen her, and she was someone they were interested in picking up.

(I realize this disagrees with my previous statements earlier in the thread, but hey... I know more now)

Then if she was reported missing on 6/6 and torso was found near BSL on 6/7 around 5:30pm if I recall correctly. My best estimate would have someone putting her body in the water late Wed night or early Thur AM. With an in coming west to east tide/current I would guess the point she went in was west of the entrance to BSL. IMO I think she was killed early Wed am and moved/dismembered later on Wed pm or early Thur am. Does that sound logical?

Investigators said her body appeared to have been in the water for a couple of days, surmising that she was killed not long after she left with TS and MAS.

Welcome to the new world. Yes the FBI and LE monitor all sites pertaining to cases like this. In the Sierra Lamar case they have watch not only the Facebook accounts but even Sierra's twitter account. And there is always some drama or sickos that post on the sites.

That's a good thing as far as I'm concerned. If they can get any help from all of our collective ideas, that would make me happy.

Oh, are you only talking about a victim's personal social media sites? or sites like WS too?

They would have been found a lot sooner! The beaches here are gorgeous and there are always people....the weather was beautiful in the days that she was first missing.

I can't see that happening. They must have known (even in a foggy state) there was a chance of being seen on the shoreline, so they probably wouldn't want to be seen carrying ***** around to multiple locations.

A torso isn't exactly something you stuff in your pocket and drop into the ocean all casual-like... nor are limbs, for that matter.

I've forgotten who posted a very interesting link regarding an artist with the same alias as Terry Speaks...I think it was Leslie Ash?...and the artist had two paintings of dismembered bodies. I thought it was a very odd coincidence. Sorry if I got the name wrong. Can someone please help? Thanks.

I'm wondering if she was put in at Buccaneer State Park (which is west of BSL)... does anyone know if they would have been able to access that location late at night and what access they would have had to the Gulf from there??

I'm thinking though :waitasec: if she was put in in that area ... why would LE be looking for a weapon around LB pier?? Would whatever cutting tool they used drifted that direction? I figured it would just sink into the sand right where it was thrown in (assuming the weapon was thrown into the water there).

Yes, The beaches in LB and PC are alot nicer than here in Biloxi :/ I have been here 4 yrs and can count on 2 hands how many times Ive been to the beach in Biloxi. I refuse to let me kids get in the water. I use to vacation here as a child/teen. The water was so much nicer then.

I guess it depends on how remote of an area they were in ... they may not have worried about daylight if no one could see them.

I think you can not try to put too much intelligent thinking into it, you have to remember the players and think like they would.

And what often happens is we "over think" cases. It's typically the simplest explanation that is the right one. Our imaginations like to take over and think on worst case scenarios. Without all of the what-if's and drama, what does it look like happened here? 2 people took a girl out for "fun" and she ended up in pieces. They have to be proven guilty, it's not their job to prove innocence, but it's looking really bad for TS amd MAS.

This map confuses me - so they are searching and using sonar currently at Long Beach? But wouldn't her body have been dumped WEST of all of those locations marked on the map? Are they assuming that more body parts and a possible weapon would now have traveled further east - hence searching long beach? Sorry for my confusion!

Grannan also said Speaks was living in Louisiana under the alias "Leslie Alan Rice." The real Alan Rice lives back in Speaks' hometown in North Carolina. As for the girlfriend, Margaret Sanchez does not have a criminal history.

Her torso was found Thur afternoon on the BSL beach area and I think they said it had not been in the water long? The other parts were found later and had been in the water longer at that point. LE also indicated with the tide and winds the likely spot was west of BSL. Look at the casino location there and the state park

Does anyone have any firsthand info on the pier in Long Beach, MS?

Do people go fish there in the middle of the night, or could someone dump a body/weapon there unnoticed?

Is it the same pier as the one in the attached picture of Jaren?

I live in Long Beach now and have been to the pier several times. You can find people there fishing all hours of the night, but few and far between. I mean, it's not crowded there and can be very secluded late at night, especially at the very end of the pier, though it's not unusual to see people out there late at night.

But there's traffic on 90 all hours of the night as well and a Waffle House almost right across from it. The parking area is very visible to Hwy. 90. Somebody could very easily dump something from the end of that pier under the cover of darkness and go unnoticed...however, their car may be noticed in an almost empty parking area where it's a little more lit. The beaches in this area offer alot of seclusion late at night too in some areas..though, again, not unusual to see people there all hours of the night and morning.

That doesn't look like the Long Beach pier in the picture of Jaren.
