It confirms she was raised in Durham.

Hall, 30, was raised in Durham.

At Nina's School of Dance, they called her Addie. Nina Wheeler says Adriane stood out as a vibrant little girl who loved to dance. "She had a spark...there was a life that was different than the rest."

Dance instructor, Doris Overcash adds, "She called me a few years ago and said she was teaching ballroom dancing somewhere in downtown Durham."

I just finished the book "Shake the Devil Off". Addie seemed to have more male friends than female and MAS was not mentioned/interviewed even once. Her remains remained at the the city morgue for months until her family came to receive them. There was no mention of her parents name at all. Dreadful story, really.

Moo of course and admittedly could be wrong but I will say that upon my initially reading Margaret's posts about Addie my feeling was attention seeker.. sorry might be wrong but I've seen it time and time again when after someone is gone people on the fringe, that were mere acquaintances AT BEST suddenly speak as tho they were tight as tight could be..

What IMO made me even more suspicious is that Margaret's MAIN ADDIE STORY IS OF THEIR MEETING AT WORK.. A STORY THAT HAD ZERO MEANING TO IT.. made me think that she very well could be acting as tho they had a relationship to seek attention via the tragedy.. Margaret definitely wouldn't be the first to have done so.. jmo and admittedly could be totally wrong..

They probably are not "aliases" in the sense that the individuals deliberately used false names. These big search engines like peekyou and peoplesearch pull data from millions of property records, court records and vital statistics. Sometimes names that appear on the same record get twisted and linked together. For instance, an "alias" listed for my husband combines his first name with my maiden name as his last name. One site combined my first name with my husband's ex-wife's maiden name and showed it as an "alias" for me. Those were both huge errors. We've never used aliases. Or, they show variations of the same name that a person might have used at different times in their lives for different purposes, like an initial and last name, or a nickname and last name. So I wouldn't put much stock into the "aliases" that come up in internet searches. JMO
 
In speaking of Addies parents from what little I gathered Addies family was not close knit.. a neighbor described her as being starved for attention and nurture due to the fact that in her opinion Addies mother was not at all close with Addie and was very negative towards her.. that Addie and her older brother were left alone most of the time.. its that older brother that Addie later told people had raped her..

So sadly it doesn't surprise me that her remains were left for some time before her family even came to get them for a proper burial.. jmo..
 
:seeya: Please be very careful when posting information about people. The hipaa link came up a couple of weeks ago and I removed it. It obviously not the perp in this case, and we don't sleuth family and friends of perps. Think about it. Suppose you happened to have the same name as a murder suspect. Would you want your personal information associated with the crime? One day someone does a google search for information about the murder, and there's a link to your FB page or your mother's obituary. :tsktsk: Not cool at all.

It might be true that no one cared, but it wasn't the only reason for a delay. There were about 1400 Katrina related fatalities in New Orleans to deal with. The morgue on Tulane Avenue was destroyed, and the coroner's office was performing autopsies out of a temporary facility about 75 miles away from the city.
 
Unfortunately, as much as I hate to even write this, but I think it is fair -- cremations and funerals are expensive. If there was no life insurance for her - and I doubt there was -- transporting a body is not cheap. Even a cremation service can be over $5000. Yes, I am sorry that no one picked up her remains for a while -- but -- I think some of us can identify with not being able to come up with 5000 or more in one day. That is reality.

It was a guy from Denham Springs camping with buddies. Not in any way related to this case. Only thing interesting about it: shows unlike what most locals believe would have happened with the tides around here, this guy's body was at Bucaneer and was carried west (to the Slipper area/Lakesore) as opposed to east. So since her body was found at the border of Waveland and BSL, she could have been put in behind the the Hollywood Casino and drifted
west. The crazy wind and rain didn't come until late the Fri after she was found and was all weekend.
 
Just checking in quickly. I believe TCS has a father with a similar name. I don't know what you all are talking about. I hope that helps.

Ahhh yes.. thank you for reminding me that death was amidst the continued fallout from Katrina.. that does make sense as the likely reason for a delay..

Yes you are correct that, that is reality and in such I will share a circumstance within my own family where this exact point is somewhat strangely related..

As embarrassing as this is to tell on my fathers side of the family who we have sadly been pretty much estranged from since my dad died when I was 13.. it definitely was not ffrom lack of trying on my moms part to keep myself, my mom and sister a part of my dads family's lives.. anyhoo my dads ONLY AUNT died just a few years back. .she had grown quite frail and could no longer live on her own.. her only son who I will say is a nutjob finally stepped up to the plate and actually had her brought to Texas to live wwith him and his gazillionth wife.. well his incessant need for speed and life in the fast lane involved in professional car racing IMO left her pretty much neglected and within a year sshe was in the hospital and quickly passed from pneumonia ..my fathers family are all originally from a small northeastern Mississippi town 100+ miles south of us here in Memphis..

Long story short my cuckoo "cousin", my poor great aunts only child was dead set on not spending any more than necessary for any/all arrangements for her and knew that once hher body was back to their hometown that my fathers family would take care of all burial arrangements and funding.. don't even ask me how because to this very daywe do not know the particulars of how he was even able to do what he did(moo obviously knew someone or paid a small amount under the table to someone) ..but I kid you not this man loaded my poor aunts body, his mothers body into the back ofhis SUV and he flat out drove her from Texas to Mississippi! ..all to save a buck.. needless to say mortified does not even begin to describe everyone's reaction..

This i swear to you as true and only occurred within the last 5 years! :blushing:
 
You may be on to something...maybe it's the therapy guys mom they've been interviewing, which would explain her statements that her son is not the kind to get in trouble. :angel: Or she is delusional:). IMO

Is it not possible that TS was a therapist? He had to do something to support himself. Does anyone else think it's odd to have that map from NC to San Diego on that site since he was there?

I predict MAS will have a drugs overdose.

TS is in the system with short eyes. He will probably not make it to testify on the JL case.

We will never find out anything about Rose and her boyfriend.

I hope that I'm wrong about all of these things and that there is a trial with a clear explanation of why JL was so horribly mistreated.

Im unfamiliar with what short eyes means? And his not making it to trial? ..as far as Margaret goes as long as they can charge in Jaren's case i see nno drug overdose.. but be that as it may that she sshould not soon be charged with involvement in Jaren's case she IMO will make bail and an overdose i could forsee..but what is the short eyes reference regarding speaks?
