I saw the wdsu segment today, and there is an article in the Sun Herald regarding the new leads (below). I just hope that LE has more than hair strands to go on. I think many of us knew that Jaren ended up in MAS's car at some point. It's what happened between the drive to the "party" and Jaren's horrible murder that keeps us guessing.

I'm really amazed that additional video footage was never released from Temptations or other clubs on Bourbon with cameras outside their entrances when Jaren was first reported missing. Two recent crimes in strip clubs on Bourbon caught the perps on videos in several locations within the club including ordering at the bar. I know MAS and TS must have been on video at Stilettos before they made their way to Temptations. I've always wondered what the conversation with the dancer SN and MAS & TS looked like on camera. Also, from what I've heard, most of the parking lots in the FQ have surveillance cameras. There had to be more video evidence that Jaren left the FQ with MAS & TS than just the one from Temptations.

I'm also shocked that there has not been a single offer of a Crimestoppers reward for additional information leading to the arrest of Jaren's murderers. If those who know more were waiting for the prime suspect to leave the state before they started talking, then I bet the offer of a nice sum of money may have motivated them to start talking sooner. The lack of any type of reward offered by the owners and management of the club(s) Jaren worked for speaks volumes for the lack of respect and human dignity these types of businesses have for the young women they employ- young women who are someone's daughters, sisters, and mothers.

Let's hope and pray that LE gets the evidence it needs to bring Justice for Jaren!

This news story was also reported in the news station in Baton Rouge (our state capitol) which I see as a good sign. It wasn't a local crime for the Baton Rouge area and Baton Rouge has enough of it's own crime to deal with so it meant a lot that Jaren's story is also being reported in the Baton Rouge area.

I am glad to hear that they are putting MAS's name out there as a prime suspect. They need to keep the pressure and publicity and heat on her.

TS will be dealing with his own legal problems aside from Jaren's case so I am hoping that he sells out MAS in order to ease some of the sentences he is facing. Not that I want him to be gone easy one but I know that he has so many other issues that will keep him incarcerated. Confessing or turning on MAS may be his only option to have any leverage for any options.

It would serve MAS right for TS to sell her out. Since she has been so freakin uninterested in caring about what happened to Jaren and refuses to do right, she deserves everything she gets. I hope all of her lame excuses (I had "food poisoning", I don't remember, etc) may come back to bite her in the azz when TS sells her out. What will her defense be if he says SHE did it all. After all she "can't remember" which is NO excuse.

Jaren is often on my mind. I know I never knew her but she has touched my heart. She did not deserve what happened to her, nor did anyone who loved her. I can't imagine how they are suffering. I think of her fiance. I had a fiance who died 5 years ago and it still hurts and I still miss him so i can only imagine how her fiance feels. My heart goes out to him. I think of her beautiful daughter and love the pictures of her and her daughter. There are so many who loved her.

I want there to be justice for Jaren and for all those who loved her (and those of us who never knew us but now are a part of Team Justice for Jaren (J4J).

I think of the long wait we have had but i think of it like the little grains of sand, each so small and yet together they add up to so much. The sand in the hourglass for Justice is surely adding up and soon MAS will find that her time as a free person is over and gone and she will be buried and in a prison of her own making.
 
So good to hear that Jaren hasn't been forgotten by LE. Sure sounds like the known POIs continue to be the only POIs in Jaren's murder. J4J!!!!
 
I would like to think it has already happened, but if not, it should. The first to flip gets life w/o parole. The DP is taken off the table. The last to flip is going to trial and the DP is being sought. Let them stew on that. You have got to have something of substance in the form of evidence to make that work though.
 
I just heard on WGNO-TV Channel 26 news that Margaret Sanchez is no longer living in the house in Kenner after she bonded out of jail. She has left the state. The male suspect, Terry Spears, is still being held on sex charges in North Carolina.

They sent samples of Jaren's hair to be tested by a laboratory which will take a while. Seems they are trying to match it with DNA from the Kenner home or other possessions of Sanchez.

Sorry I'm didn't get more specific info, I was doing something else when I heard her name mentioned. Seems like they still have very little to go on other than what we already know.

You are all correct, I heard the teasers and tuned in for the actual broadcast. Since the MAD woman (oops I mean the MAS woman) is no longer living in Kenner and she is deeply tied to the Quarter/Marigny, I'll have to keep an eye out for her. I have her meth face ingrained in my mind and more than a few questions. They also threw out there that someone near the area Jaren was found is dismembering deer and other animals for sport (I enjoy hunting esp having an -eaux ending family name, but we kill what we eat) and authorities believe the two may be connected. Any thoughts on that fellow Sleuthers? I wonder if maybe ole crazy eyes moved out to the country bc I KNOW she is not welcome in my area (CBD a few blocks from Bourbon) and nearly every worker or Quarter Rat would give her some vigilante justice for killing in some cases our co-worker, our friend, and a part of the community. Yes an eccentric one, but a community. Her death and the horrible way she was treated has me looking over my shoulder, not wanting to go out alone at night, and much less open to strangers whereas before I would talk to anyone, even grab a drink with them. I guess what I am trying to say is that what happened to Jaren has ruined the sense of safety and "we watch out for each other" feel of fellow downtown dwellers. And OT- I am SO glad WGNO referred to her as a "woman" and "employee at Temptations Gentleman's Club" not as a "STRIPPER". I know it's a sensational word but they wouldn't say "telemarketer" or "veterinary assistant" in their headlines, would they? She is a daughter, mother, sister, cousin, friend, co-worker- and now, an angel.

i did not hear about some freak dismembering animals nearby. i live walking distance to where jaron was found. where did you hear that ?
i did read about dolphins being murdered down around the islands off the coast ,horrible.

That poor relative!! They better watch out cuz MAS is one creepy and scary chick. She is heartless, remorseless and has NEVER said not one word that has pointed to her innocence. Little Miss "Oh I had food poisoning and can't remember". Well I guess her new family in the southwest better watch what they feed her cuz God knows what would happen if she got "food poisoning" again!!!!!!!

You must have "friended" her on Facebook, because her security on her Facebook Account is very good now. I can't see what you are talking about anymore. Before, I used to be able to read hers and Team MAS's silly conversations. If you did, I rather not know.

I personally think that she is getting a lot of heat from people. That is why she has moved away. It's strange that she did not move to North Carolina to be near her sex offender husband, Leslie or Allen or David, or is it Terry?

It also sounds like to me that someone in "Team MAS" did give some info to the detectives - just like I had predicted in the past. Hopefully justice will come before Christmas. I just hope that Justice for Jaren will come soon!! That's all I want for Christmas this year!

Still antsy for answers here. Trying to be patient but check in everyday to see if the test results are back.
 
Seriously, how long does it take to run lab tests? SO frustrating. The only thing I can imagine that could explain the length of time is maybe it is more complex than just TS and MAS and it is taking a while for police to ensure they nail all involved, especially some kind of big wig.
