Thinking about Keiosha and hoping there's a break in the case soon.

:anguish::anguish:I thought everyone would like to know......I worked fairly closely with the admin of the FindKeioshaFelixNow page and the one person pushing police....she reportedly received threats on her life.

The community just did not do anything to help support efforts. Because of the extent of danger involved because of the sex trafficking sting and investigation that was involved, I understood that there was way more at stake than anyone imagined.....we may never find her. The last I heard from the admin of that page was that she was lead to believe from a "secret but reliable" source that she was believed to be dead. I don't know because I was never involved more than raising money for awareness and behind the scene things..........

I brought clothes and toys last year for her little girl for Christmas.......the state wouldn't say where she was but assured that she would get them.
So very sad!!!! I have not forgotten her at all.......

That is so inexcusable!!!!!!!!!! If there is something so big and bad out there that people are afraid to speak about a CHILD who has gone missing and probably had extensive sexual trauma, then it needs to be taken care of! Law enforcement should be more committed to finding this child (alive or not) and speaking out against people who commit crimes against children and then make threats to keep it silent. That is outrageous!!! In my mind, if you are making threats, you are guilty until you can explain your actions! Shame to all of those with power who have let this drop. No wonder people continue to commit more horrific crimes. If no one is going to do anything unless there is "community support", then we just need to give up. Liberty and Justice for ALL!

The remains will be sent to the LSU Forensics Anthropology and Computer Enhancement Services Laboratory for further verification. Investigators say the remains were at the site for an extended period of time.

We have 2 missing persons from this area: Kieiosha and Crystal.
Praying for their families today. I can't imagine what this news is doing to them and they have to wait to see if it's their loved ones.

Local Enforcement should be ashamed of themselves. Local leaders should be ashamed of themselves. This child, and every missing person deserves to be found. I'm shocked at the 200,000 and need to do some research. I

I know LE said that they think Keiosha could be very well alive except in a dangerous situation such as human trafficking, but I feel it's fairly likely either of these remains found are of Keiosha. I was hoping Keiosha would be found alive.

The ones discovered yesterday are less than 50 miles from where Keiosha (and Crystal) were last seen. I definitely feel like these remains could be either of them.

What really, really sucks is that they are someone.. Even if not either of these 2 ladies.

Two people have been arrested in connection to the remains that have been found in Sicily Island.

"Daniel White, 36,*was in custody at Ouachita Correctional Center on unrelated charges when he became a suspect in this case. Saturday, he was transferred to*Catahoula Parish, and is now charged with Second Degree Kidnapping. No details about that charge have been released. Leah Marie Pontiff, 30, was arrested Friday for obstruction charges in Catahoula Parish."

Ktgirl, I don't think anyone meant the Sicily Island remains are related to Keiosha or Crystal. The question is, who went missing from the Ouachita Parish (Monroe/West Monroe/Claiborne/Calhoun) area in the past few days?

eSPECIALLY odd is that the body was already bones, but she had just been reported missing 2 days before. I wonder what prompted the missing person report. Not verified, but the commenters seem to know who she is and that she has 2 children. Praying for the family of whomever this is tonight!

Duson Councilman Carroll Culpepper refrained from voting. It was Culpepper who said he spotted Chief Andrew gambling at a casino while on duty. The report was read during an open special meeting Andrew agreed to last month. However, the incident has not been confirmed as the reason for the chief being fired Tuesday.

I wonder if any of this has anything to do with Keiosha & how the investigation was initally handled (or maybe it was just about gambling while on duty).
