Thank-you..For the explanation on the photos. When you say west, would this be going in the direction from where she was seen heading west?. Another wards, If I keep going on a bike or car going in the direction she was, would I eventually reach this area where the bike was found going west in the direction she was going?

How far would you say distance minutes wise would that be.
From where she was last seen on video to the bridge?

The location where she disappeared is West of WB. The bike's location is east of where she disappeared. I believe they are 27 miles apart.

I can't remember who said this (I want to say one of our locals or even ACI) but they indicated that the fisherman has been told by LE not to say anything. I guess it could have leaked anyway, but I can see why we don't see him (or her) plastered everywhere doing interviews.
I wonder if the condition of the bike or something about it is being kept secret?

This afternoon I was riding one of my usual routes when something hair raising occured. I was riding down a street that is a favorite "short cut" for many motorists because it intersects with two major streets. As a result it is heavily traveled. It's wide so I have no issue riding on it, other than the occasional speeder.

As I was heading south I noticed two cars coming in the opposite direction. One was a white chevy truck. As I began to snicker, it stopped and pulled over to the side and let the car behind it pass.

As my hair stood on end, I stopped too. We both stared at each other and he was a heavy set older man with dark hair, once he realized I was looking right at him, he punched it. I was shocked for a second, and then turned to see if I could give chase. As I did, I realized a sticker on the passenger side of his truck. He was going pretty fast, but it appeared to be a white Fleur De lis. I turned and tried to catch him, and then realized I was riding right into a probable trap, as there is a local street right ahead that someone could hide on-- and he was no where in sight.

I turned around and for the first time in years hit 25 mph, and went a different route home. I am sorry to say I did not get the plates. Even if I could I never have writing materials while riding.

So, are we sure the perp is local.. and maybe this is intentional

Maybe he stalks female riders.

Just so you know, the majority of us transplanted Cajuns have a Fleur de lis on our car.

Can you recall any other details?
How old would you say he was? Heavy as in husky or fat?
Can you say where you were?

She was going in a west direction. And her bike was found going east around 27 miles away.

They always seem to be going in opposite direction. Which makes you wonder if he lives going west from where she was taken. Would someone travel around 27 miles in the opposite direction in the early morning with a abducted girl to go through a bike over a bridge or place it near the riverbed?

Possible I guess. But unless he lives going in that direction I am not sure.
Seems risky. And to do it and then head back west if that is where he lives that would be another 27 miles going back to where she came up missing, or I should say last seen on video. And then go another 25 40 miles from there perhaps to reach his preplanned place with the girl?

27 miles and opposite direction from where she was, I would guess, and just guessing he dropped it off later, perhaps the next day to get rid of it so no one would recognize it once it was mentioned to the public. Maybe that is when he got rid of the bike. After the description of it was giving over the news. Her back pack is probably discarded somewhere out west and could have gotten rid of it the same time/day he got rid of the bike.

That could be very possible. Just speculating but perhaps they have already found the back pack, and maybe he was attached or with the bike or in the general area and they have not released that information as of yet. Just posting example but do not know. The fisherman story could as easily be fiction. And the truth on how it was discovered has remained untold. Just another guess.

My Opinion
I see Mickey On her bike, in a racing bike position just above the roof of the 'olds very clearly to me, and confirms she isn't under the truck by circle k. I think LE refers to this shot/footage when they say blurry footage further down St. Landry, but can't clarify. I do not think she is further down the sidewalk. Where you zoomed in. That to me looks like the trunk of a car that resembles the daytime google daytime shot of that apt complex. The hooptie looks like it's brake lights are on, and a tad too far to the left as if the driver is trying to get closer to her.

LE didn't say that the blurry photo was from further down St. Landry. They only said the blurry photo was taken from a camera that was meant to tape the inside of the place of business, and it captured a little bit of the outside, showing a blurry bike rider that might have been Mickey.

This photo is obviously from a camera that is meant to capture the outside, so it can't be the "blurry photo."

I'm sure that both of those areas are just the backs of cars parked in the apartment building parking lot.

On the unzoomed picture you can tell they are behind the strip of grass/hedge, so they are in the parking lot. And you can make out the outlines of the cars. The ends of the cars are illuminated by the street lights so they stand out.

I'm very sure the area in question is the back of a car parked in the apartment building parking lot. You can see it during the daylight here:

Oh, after looking at this again, I do totally agree that it is obviously the back of a car!

Also, to me, in the picture of the dark car, I can see what looks like a person on the right hand side, and it appears he/she has a hoodie on?

If you have to delete these I understand, but thought I'd try

At first I thought nothing of it, there's a local church there so I thought he was stopping by the church. A lot of people park in the street when services are held.


YET-

He stopped and looked right at me so I would assume yes.

I've ridden in the road a long time, I have never ever had anyone stop like that. And yes, I wear Tons of Hot pink so that I can be seen. Time to change that.

Once he noticed me looking at him and stopped he left, the street is a straight shot for about another mile. I can see for a half a mile once I turn around, He was gone.

Glad you are ok. It is strange, maybe le should look at dwt's registered in your area.
Don't try to blend in too much if you change colors, just maybe try not to look feminine. It is awful that a woman can't wear pink if she wants because of potential pervs!
