If you conjure one please post :)

That was my post above.

If we:
1) Know that the rider in front of Circle K is MS.
2) Have video of MS further down St. Landry near the funeral home.

Then the riders behind the funeral home cannot be Mickey. She can't be in two places at once.

The police has the report and abdella has my name and number and has never contacted me.. The find Mickey website says not to contact them with information.. On the first flyer it had contact Nancy Shunick and a number, I called it and no one every answered... So I figured it wasn't important information....

They were not on St. Landry... The were on Parkside, took a left on St. Mary heading towards St. Landry... The police have this info, I gave it to them Sunday morning..

So you filed a report and turned over a description and all of the important details to LE right away. Congratulations for being a responsible citizen. I'm a little confused because in your first post you merely asked if the bikers had come forward or been ID'd. I don't blame you for being curious. I would be, too. To answer your question, LE has not released any information about two bikers in the area when MS disappeared. That doesn't mean your tip was ignored. LE has the details you gave them, and I'm sure they've followed up on it. If and when they see a need to question you further, they'll be in touch. If you recall a detail you left out of the initial report, then you should contact the officer who took the report. He/she might be able to tell you whether info panned out. Otherwise, there's nothing more to be said. So be patient and feel good about yourself for having done the right thing.

Facts is we don't know if she was abducted and by whom.
There's options such as she got hit by accident and was taken to be brought for help and the driver got scared. She was taken by someone who missed their own child and there is nothing sexual involved. She was taken by a gang of thugs after they tried to steal from her and they injured her, someone has an insurance policy on her and wants her dead, She was nabbed as revenge for something we don't know about. Maybe she is having an affair with a married man and he begged her to go spend the night with him and she went willingly. Maybe she had a reason to want to disappear. People do strange things for different reasons not all that make sense to others at the time. That doesn't make them psychopathic sexual
Predators.

I could ask the same question back- do normal women go riding bikes across town at 2 AM?
Most women I know would say heck no- does that mean something is wrong with Mickey? No.

I think most normal women - particularly who were/are college students who lived on or close to campus- will admit to doing something like traveling home at 2am alone on foot once or twice if not more often. I know I walked home from campus around 3 am from my off campus apartment alone because I had no other choice (no cell, campus police wouldn't escort me once off campus, and my friends who I was with lived on campus and would have had to travel back alone once they walked me home. None of us had cars.) I speed walked. I was scared. It was a ten minute walk tops. I had my pepper spray out. I've been thinking about that a lot. I was lucky. The area I was in I would consider far more dangerous than the Saints Streets area. Thank goodness nothing happened. I think every woman has these stories. And I have friends who are now professional, smart women with advanced degrees who walked or cycled home alone regularly. Even at 2am in not so nice areas. It's common in college for some people. You do it once & nothing happened, you think it's safe to do again & then it becomes the norm. I never did it again because I grew up in a house here the news was always on & my dad was retired LE- I was less naive than most invincible-feeling 21-22 year olds. This invincibility, along with the misconception many in Lafayette have about how "safe" the town is and MS's dedication to cycling as a way of life and main method of transportation (for example, I think her tattoo looks like the bike from the standard bike lane signs), gives me no reason to question her being on that road on her bike at 2am. It's not a choice I'd make, but some would.

Do we know that Mickeys bike was set up as a fixed gear bike?

I'm going by memory. I believe the answer is yes. could be wrong. At any rate, another minute would have her another .04 miles down the road, and crossing University is the biggest potential hang up, and she blew through that apparently. If there is no more video of her after this, then the theory i like the best is that Circle K area is the location of her problem. If we see Silverado z71 be in the area, and then don't see it on local surveillance cams, I get to thinking the truck is very local and has a garage. Some say the truck has a winch. Jury's out on that, but why a winch? I'm thinking boat, you'd never tow a car like that, right?

She could have cut through the parking lot of the funeral home IMO

Not abnormal for young women to do dangerous things...it IS abnormal to become a victim, but also probably more likely at 2am than at 7pm or even 9pm, for example...fewer witnesses (obviously none, it seems in this case) as well as a greater chance of people up to no good being out at that hour.

I did some truly horrifying things in my younger days that I am shocked to have survived, I admit...but I never was outside at 2am alone...I would have been too scared, even back in the good old days.

Still, Mickey is an adult, not a child as some people seem to see her; she had every right to be out. I just fear that she became a victim because of what time it was...

Why don't you just describe the other biker? Thanks.

Male, average build, medium to light color hair (darker than the girl), above shoulder hair...only saw the back of him... Don't know what the front looks like...

I'd bet my house and cars that unfortunately, a sexual predator is exactly what we're dealing with.

I also think if she's passed, her body is somewhere close to WB. I don't see a perp generally dropping a bike and a body off in two places. It seems like a lot of trouble. Maybe throw the bike in the water here and hide the remains in the water and they floated off or put the remains a few feet or short drive away in a wooded area off of the street to the boat ramp area. I know the area was searched and searched again, but I have to wonder if any private property wasn't searched (not saying the owner of the property had anything to do w/ Mickey's disappearance, but maybe he or she just didn't want people on his/her land for whatever reason - I can't think of any but hey, there are tons of places that won't put up missing fliers apparently - or at least in my experience. Maybe someone was worried if a searcher was injured on their land, they would be held responsible for the bills). Or even somehow she was overlooked if she's out there. There are some really wooded areas right around the WB boat launch, as well as on 975 North by the boat ramp (I think it's a highway- highway 975- someone more familar, please let me know). I hope if she is there, someone will stumble upon her like what occurred with Morgan Harrington's remains being found (although it was months before anyone found her). However, I can also see how putting the bike there could be a diversionary tactic or something. Who knows.

Of course, I hope someone has her alive and is taking care of her and not hurting her....however unlikely that is....

I kind of think the same thing, about WB...even Tim Miller said that it was possible she would never be found, if put in the waters there...and despite what LE says, I think they are still searching there on and off with that belief in mind...that he/they wouldn't be as likely to go to two separate sites and take a chance on being seen twice...JMO

She is just leaving an intersection. It would be natural to slow down or even stop.
I respctfully disagree. She has just gone through a major intersection and has no reason to stop, unless
1)she thinks about grabbing some necessities at the Circle K
2)she's going to use her phone
3)something wrong with her bike.

I think a rider's instinct is to not stop, except where you just can't get away with it... that's especially true if Mickey has a fixed gear because those bikes don't coast.

Yes, do you know if the bikers came forward?? I just never heard anything else about it, I guess it turned out to be nothing....

No, but I have seriously been thinking about someone watching Mickey leave Ryan St and taking St John while a car or cyclist went straight down Parkside across University and continued on Parside and cut across to the backside of M&C Funeral Home and grabbing her on St Landry. I just recently discovered that behind M&C there is actually a small driveable bridge over the coulee that connects Parkside to the back parking lot of M&C where you can drive all the way to the front and be on St Landry or the office building next door. Someone could have been waiting for her behind the very large sign in front of the office building that has Kidney Care in it. (next to M&C) it would have been easy to exit out the back of the parking lot back down Parkside without being seen. I don't know if there's any camera's there that were working.

Also, if any cyclists were involved I think Mickeys guard would have been lowered as she saw them as one of the gang of cyclists.

I managed to survive a lot of stupid choices. It is not normal in the Lafayette I remember, especially on this side of town. Still does not mean it cannot happen. Sad that you have to prepare for the worst, yet hope for the best.

I recall that the bike she has is easily changed from a standard freewheel type of rear hub to a fixed gear type of operation. Riding around town with a fixed gear is not easy if you ask me. Still not sure if she had her bike set up that way.

A winch is used to do certain things like pulling logs to a better spot when wood cutting or getting your 4x4 unstuck. You don't use a winch to tow anything.

Examine the intersection in question using street view. Approach the intersection from the St. John St. side as would MS. On the left is a fashion store with a wooden fence extending out to the sidewalk on University. On the right is a white store with the storefront similarly extending all the way to the sidewalk. Consequently, the visibility of traffic on University in both directions is extremely limited.

I ride a street bike very similar to hers and I would certainly slow down at such an intersection. Especially at 2 am when the bars are closing.

I believe this should seriously considered in many of these missing cases. If anything, the FBI should be looking into this.

LA

It should definitely be looked into in younger endangered runaway cases, as slightly younger women are ideal prey for human trafficking. Mickey was a bit older and would have been much more difficult to get her to submit to such treatment. Not impossible, just not as easy.
