How about the black widow girlfriend CN? She's a special little girl. Knowing DM made LB go bye bye...and then daddy...then TB- seriously, that girl reminds me more and more of KH everyday.

Not sure there would be grounds for appeal when someone refuses to spend their money on an attorney, has been deemed mentally capable of standing trial, and chooses to go it alone.

Now the mistrial aspect has always fascinated me. The dynamics in this trial are crazy in the fact that now DM and Dungey are on the same side as far as cross examining witnesses. So I would think that Dungey is prepared to call for a mistrial at any moment he thinks this trial is off the rails and his client is suffering for it.

I find CN to be a despicable human being, but can we please get away from the KH comparisons? There’s a Grand Canyon sized gap between despicable human being and actually being party to a murder.

Also, no deal was ever made with CN. Nor has there been any idication that she lured LB, WM or TB to their deaths.

I’m not sure how it works, but if that’s in play, I’m sure that’s what they’ll go after.

I am skeptical, though. There will be no mention of TB in this trial, so I don’t know if that would be something to take into account like it was in the Garland trial earlier this year.

It appears the crown has a slam dunk here, but let’s not get ahead of ourselves. We’ve seen 3 witnesses and 2 pieces of evidence have been made exhibits. Nothing’s been proven, yet.

Unfortunately, that's not the case. A great deal of hand-holding and all ts crossed and is dotted are required to prove the accused was granted a fair trial, and to rebuke attempts to claim a mistrial. It seems counterintuitive, I know. By going this route, he's virtually expanded his rights and privileges, IMO.

I know that everyone has multiple sides to their personality--I know I do. But there is something about her that makes zero sense.

They're not on the same side though. True, both are trying to raise doubt in the crown's case. But Dungey just needs to show distance between MS and the crime. He'll likely do that by trying to shift likely fault onto DM.

Whereas DM's strategy is probably to suggest that she committed suicide, someone killed her because she was an escort, highlight that her friends/family didn't know her as well as they thought they did in order to make his escort theory hold more water. And, if all else fails argue MS did it because MS had the iPad

Is it possible Laura s body was in the tarp? I did not know CN was in the picture when Laura went missing, all of them are just really bad people and CN people said is in another country to study and become a dr. god have mercy.

DM was engaged to be married to someone else in 2011. Odds are that relationship, the CN relationship and LB relationship all overlapped. I don't think CN was so naive to not believe she had serious competition for her older millionaire boyfriend.

Yeah like multiple personality disorder. She has a dark side and I think she is dangerous. If she becomes a dr. I hope she is not coming back to this country to be one. Her performance at the first trial is psychopathic, she came across as someone very cold and calculating.

CN came off as arrogant, entitled and lacking empathy towards the Bosma family in the TB trial. I get the sense that she is used to getting what she wants and that someone was DM. IMO, she was not as high on the DM list as JS but above the real estate woman and LB (not sure where the bible woman from the TB trial fits in...sorry, I had to). I honestly don’t think that she would have shed a tear over LB getting ‘hurt’ as DM is quoted as saying. Her destroying evidence and withholding evidence in the TB trial goes a long way in showing how far she would go for DM.

Ari Goldkind was saying on CP24 that all three phones were pinging from the same area on July3rd: Millard's, Smich's and Babcock's. And he described the blue thing in the photo as a blue rug instead of a tarp. I hope we will see some of the evidence photos soon.
