If I may...I'm just sifting through some of the other threads in here trying to refresh my memory of CN's lesser plea agreement and details regarding dates and charges against MS and DM.

May 11, 2013 - DM charged fc
May 15, 2013 - DM charge upgraded to M1
May 22, 2013 - MS arrested
April 10, 2014: 21-year-old Christina Noudga is charged with accessory after the fact to murder in connection with the death of Tim Bosma. On the same day, Dellen Millard is charged with the murder of his father Wayne Millard and missing Toronto woman Laura Babcock. Millard’s co-accused, Mark Smich, is also charged with murder in connection to Babcock’s death.

Why did CN not get rid of/destroy the letters, recording from hanger etc? And what could LE have found during that search which lead them to charge DM and MS with LB murder?
Is it possible that CN sang like a canary knowing her knight was going to be locked up?

If she sang, she wouldn't be in Poland right now. Why did she keep the letters? Probably like any young woman, she loved him. Sentimentality. She likely didn't expect cops to raid her house either or else that video recorder would have been in a dumpster.

The charges came after investigation, not as a result of a search.

CN had in her notes among the letters that blackmail was an option open to her, so she probably kept them for that reason.

CN was a hostile witness and didn't talk.

One of her notes is titled “Brilliant Ideas.”

Dungey then read a broken series of point form notes about a scheme to profit from the criminal life of future boyfriends.

“Bonus: cannot kill me because I will have a signed confession … get money from them (another option).”

Dungey asked what she meant.

“If I date anyone else I should find out if they have a criminal life,” she explained.

“That way I could blackmail them and receive something in return. It was too late for Dellen,” she said. It would be “a way for me to profit” from a boyfriend’s criminal activity.

“Through blackmail?” asked Dungey.

“Yes,” she said.

“So this is your criminal mind at work?”

She said she didn’t have a criminal mind.

“What would you call it?”

“A childish idea that I wrote down,” she said. “I tend to have a bad sense of humour.”

Really? I hadn't gone there but now I see the trail you are following.

This is starting to sound similar to Dungey's argument about MS wanting DMs old Cadillac to start a new life.

Or she showed up at his house after he refused to she her. Either is possible.

Maybe. But eight calls? If she was barking up the wrong tree, Millard simply wouldn't have picked up. She had something, and it necessitated she be gone immediately.

This will come up again, mark my words.

I think the insinuation will be that because LB knew that DM had given AM a vehicle, she wanted one too.
He gave AM a vehicle? Do you mean SS? He said he gave SS one for a wedding present. Did I miss where AM was given one too? [emoji52]

Laura Babcock’s friend tells court accused killer didn’t care about feud with another woman
https://globalnews.ca/news/3831785/laura-babcocks-friend-to-continue-testimony-at-murder-trial/

Dellen Millard, 32, of Toronto, says he was sleeping with other women at the same time that Babcock and his then-girlfriend, Christina Noudga, were engaged in an ongoing battle.

Friend's disdain for accused killer on full display as she's cross-examined by Dellen Millard

Millard and former best friend Mark Smich have pleaded not guilty to 1st-degree murder

Shirinian, 25, is the best friend of Christina Noudga, who was seeing Millard, at the time that Babcock disappeared.

As a witness, Shirinian helped the Crown with its theory that there was bad blood between Noudga and Babcock, who also had a relationship Millard at the time.

He gave AM a car. He offered MS a car. He promised CN a car. There is a pattern here. LB is starting an escort business. She doesn't have a place so she's basically doing outcalls only. How is she getting to the dates? She needs a vehicle.

We don't have the records yet to confirm he answered.

No no no he gave SS a car; AM already had a car that was being repaired by SS the day before TB was incinerated. I don't remember DM promising CN a car.

She lives in the city with cabs, busses and subways everywhere...why does she need a car again?

LOL and has as much to do with the murder as that time too, no doubt.

Perhaps referring to this from today, "Lisa Hepfner‏ @HefCHCHNews
Michelski used one of #Millard's jeeps so clearly he was ok with lending his vehicle to Michelski, he says. Shirinian agrees."

DM confirmed to SL that he had talked to LB and said so in court.

Right. Her last activity was accessing her voicemail.

Lerner said he gave police Millard’s name from the very beginning, along with names of other friends of Babcock. But he said he became very suspicious after he saw Babcock’s phone record, which revealed that she had called Millard 13 times between June 30 and July 3 of last year. The phone records show that her very last call was made to Millard on July 3.

LOL and has as much to do with the murder as that time too, no doubt.

Lots of defence lawyers grasping at straws over crumbling old vehicles in the pre-Uber days. I get that Etobicoke is not downtown but what the heck is wrong with taking the TTC. What a bunch of messed up, morally bankrupt suburban kids.

Pardon my ignorance :/ I do recall CN refusing to talk with Crown prior to her going on the stand during the TB trial and also recall she appeared to be an ignorant b*tch on the stand.
Just going through the timeline (will post link) I am reading it as though the search of CN room was in April 2014 and on the same day additional charges to DM & MS were presented. Was the search and contents found in CN room the "icing on the cake"?
Also...is it fact that she is in Poland?

No they would have been ready to charge DM and MS ahead of time. They would have discovered new evidence that they hadn't had time to analyse yet when they searched CN's bedroom. Investigations are always ongoing, even through the trials.

It's not fact that she is in Poland, no.

Re: Jeep or truck

Or was it that she was being followed by one? Wasn't AM asked to report to DM her whereabouts?

Hhhmmm...interesting theory. I hadn"t thought about that. She would know DM's vehicles and AM's face, no?
