Lee wants to sit in courtroom during trial

I think Lee has always gone along with the family line - if CA and GA support Casey, then publicly and in interviews and depositions he has to. I think he's given clues here and there that he really didn't see things the way his parents did, but he never outright came out and said it. I think that's why he used CMA at the memorial. Honestly, if he wanted to talk to Casey, why not use her name? Why use CMA, which could be for Cindy, Casey, or Caylee? Because maybe he wasn't talking to Casey but to Caylee, and that was the only way he could do it and his family and Casey wouldn't know that he was talking to Caylee instead of Casey. I think it's why he stayed out of the spotlight and let his parents deal with it. I bet he is still furious at what Casey did, how it's affecting the family, and that Caylee is gone. It would be harder for him to be supportive in front of cameras than it was for his parents, so he stayed away and let them do it, effectively letting people think he still supported her when he probably didn't.

I think part of his weirdness on the stand is that he has been for Caylee this whole time, but has had to let his family and Casey think that he's been there for Casey. I think that has infuriated him, and I think he's really angry at Casey and having to go along with the family like he always has, but hasn't been able to direct his anger at her (after all, she caused all of this in the first place), so it's misdirected at the court and the SA. He can get angry with them is what I mean. Getting angry with the court and the SA was in direct line with his parents in those hearings. It was okay for him to do and not get into trouble with the family. And again, it let people think he still might support Casey. I think being a wild card is what Lee has had to be because of Casey. It's the only way he's been able to deal with what she did and how it affected the family. As dysfunctional as his family is, he didn't want to the be one to cause more family strife by not supporting his sister when his parents were supporting her. I can understand that as I do the same with my family for the sake of family harmony. I may say I agree with the family to their faces, but that doesn't mean I agree with them behind closed doors away from my family.

As a sibling, he knows her better than his parents do. Siblings know all sorts of secrets and things about their siblings that their parents don't. He knows better what she is capable of. I don't think we'll see him get on the stand and still support her. And because his parents are no longer supporting her, finally, he can drop the facade and do what he really wants to do - not support his sister and be on Caylee's side publicly. I do think, as a sibling, he still loves Casey. But I think he will do the right thing on the stand because it's what he's wanted to do all along. We may even see a different Lee for once, a Lee free from having to live a lie and be someone he doesn't want to be for the sake of family harmony. At least I hope so. I will gladly eat crow if I'm wrong and lose all faith in Lee. I only have a sliver left as it is.

My 2 cents is CA and GA were asking in the past for LA to help ICA, and I believe LA actions were all because of his parents begging or asking him for help. Now that he see's what his parents are going through. My guess is he has had enough and his parents are now asking for LA to help again but not for ICA.

I think the A's want the truth anyway they can get it from ICA. I think they want ICA to come unglued and spout off for this will be the only way they get the truth. Having LA in the court room sitting next to GA and CA will possibly make ICA come unglued.

No way would GA or CA sit behind the prosecutions tables when the Jury is there if they were there for the DT.

If this motion is granted and LA enters the courtroom and sits next to GA and CA, you can beat your sweet bippy that LA has had enough!

Cindy and Lee appear to have a close bond. It's Lee that Cindy called upon to help on July 3, 2008 when she was trying to find KC and Caylee. This resulted in Lee and Mallory going downtown to look for KC in night clubs.

On July 15th, George called Lee from work and told him that Cindy had found KC and was bringing her home and asked him to go to the house right away. Lee was at the house just a few minutes before Cindy and KC arrived home.

After KC was arrested, she called home from jail and it was Lee who put his foot down and said he wasn't going to let KC give him the same run around that she had given "mom" for the past month. Lee tried to ferret out information from KC following her arrest.

Even though Lee has a close bond with his sister, and his behavior during these past few years has often been bizarre, I can't see him continuing his support of her after the allegations she's made against him and his father. Lee knows his sister lies.

I think LA will not be supporting ICA any longer. Remember, she did not merely accuse her father of molestation and she also accused him of covering up the imaginary accident. Also it was the words that JB chose to use in the opening statement. Very very cruel to GA. Nope, LA will be answering honestly and completely. I wonder if "the fight" will be mentioned. I can't remember if LA was there or was merely told about the fight. If he wasn't there he can't testify to it. CA will still be on the stand on Tuesday so maybe it will be brought up. Of course, if ICA told LA then maybe it was just another lie.

There's been no mention of Lee being there when the alleged fight happened. I think it's logical to assume that KC told Lee about the fight and with her penchant for lying, she may have embellished it quite a bit. In a normal situation, I would think Lee would have told his mother that KC was claiming there was a fight, and CA would have either confirmed or denied it.

A neighbor says she heard yelling. A fight is the logical explanation for all else that happened after July 15th..

FWIW if I were Lee or CA or GA I would make SURE that Casey knew she was screwing over the people who genuinely loved her, probably exactly in this way. I would still love my daughter (or sister that I had been raised with) no matter what because there are 20+ years of family history there that are hard to shake, but that wouldn't stop me from testifying to the truth if she became a monster.

Also, it's probably more irritating to ICA than it would be if Lee were spitting venom. Imagine the Grinch after stealing all the toys from Whoville if you will.

The sad and awful truth is that it wouldn't make the least bit of difference to Casey.

People who have the mentality that she has feel that everyone around them are expendable. Parents, siblings, children--all expendable. She has no idea how to relate to people except through deceit and lies--her emotions are all mimicked from watching those around her. She has no true feelings of compassion or caring--she is empty inside.

My sister was exactly like her. She would reel you in, chew you up, spit you out and then look for her next victim and never give you another thought. Her needs/wants/desires/goals were the ONLY things that mattered to her--Casey is exactly the same. She would go to any means possible to satisfy those needs, with a profound disregard for common decency, the law, or even familial bonds.

People like Casey and my sister are devious, conniving, and capable of anything. They are not to be trusted--whether by a family member or a complete stranger. They are cunning and manipulative and can convince a normal person that they are seeing and/or hearing things when in fact, those things never happened.

Casey and her ilk are extremely dangerous. If I ever meet another person like my sister (or Casey), I would run so far, and so fast, that it would take lightening a while to catch up with me.

Casey's family is unimportant to her.

The ONLY thing that matters to Casey is Casey.

I dont think LA is on ICA side at all. I think he, and perhaps George to an extent played along in the beginning, showing support to ICA so she would give up the truth. In Diane Fannings Book, Mommys Little girl, Lee tells ICA friends on more than one occasion that she is a liar and do not protect her. I think Lee is horrified at his sister and how she treated her daughter and their parents , and the molesting accusations sealed the deal.

The only thing Lee is guilty of is having ica for a sister and if someone was accusing me or my parents of any kind of abuse, I would want to be looking at their face while they were doing it.

I don't know guys. I get the feeling he's still on her side. Remember Mallory's testimony. I think Casey still has these two under her spell.

It is mind boggling...Casey accuses Mallory's fiance of molesting her or trying to and there Mallory is up on the stand saying that the relationship between Casey and Caylee was AMAZING!!! I thought that was a strange word to use. I would have thought she would have said "they have a very close relationship" or something like that. Amazing??! I would have thought Mallory would have down played anything that she said because of the accusations. I guess she fits right in the family...strange. I think Mallory was stretching the truth trying to help Casey. That tells me that Lee is still standing behind his sister. The last time he was in court was after the accusation came out and he mouthed "I Love You." His dad hadn't been accused yet though. It will be interesting to see what Lee has to say now.

I think that he should be allowed in just like GA and CA.

We have not seen much of him lately other than the other day after Mallory testifited.

Hear me out. So, if you listen/watch to the video of the visit Lee had with Casey in Jail where he is grilling her about the phone numbers, the cell phone, etc. He asks her about the BlackJack phone. She claims to have had it when she was up at Universal. He asks her if it was for work or fun- She replies that it wasn't for fun, or work but meeting mutual friends (not exact words). Lee then says "Understood- I understand).

This tells me that she was indicating that shes was meeting 'mutual friends' (she loves that word- mutual), for something other than work or fun. She was 'doing business' with who ever it was she was meeting there. Drugs. Not sure if is was pot- but more likely, prescription drugs. I think Casey made money in any way she could. She had a lot of people calling her all the time- she texted/called a lot of people. For a high school drop out who had a limited friend base to start with, her phone activity tells me she was 'in business'.

Of course- this is my opinion.

I believe it's unethical for him to contact anyone that he knows is represented by an Atty- don't all conversations have to go via M Lipman? I think the A's could initiate a phone call or whatever, but I don't think JB could....

I hate to disagree but I don't think KC was selling drugs. For one thing, with all the media attention and interviews with just about anyone who has ever talked to her, someone would have said something. Her whole life has been laid bare.
And personally I just don't think she had the desire to do anything that took work. She just didn't seem to have the motivation or initiative to exert herself. She much preferred to let others earn the money and then she would help herself to it.
