I wouldn't expect anyone in the world to react like me in a panic situation. I know how badly I react to anything panic inducing. Adrenaline is not my friend. That is why I don't usually look at the way people cry/don't cry-beg/don't beg-get angry, etc.----What I do notice is who they make eye contact with, what they answer or refuse to answer, and the way they physically interact with the people closest to them. I think that is why this case is so wierd. Nothing matches....

Yeah, for me in public I'm stoic...won't shed a tear, cry, yell nothing but remain calm...once I'm in the privacy of my home it all comes out with the force of a tsunami.

It wasnt missing a screen, there was a bend in the corner of the screen frame which was still on the window, thats why I dont understand how he noticed it.

I was thinking if the lights were on and a screen is open, the house would fill with moths and other flying bugs. It's really bad this time of year.

If there are half a dozen cameras in your face, how do you decide where to look? I thought she was trying to look at everyone all at once, to make her pleas.

This is a little strange - but I'm posting it anyway. Last Monday night - Oct. 3 - I had a dream that I had a blonde (short) hair, blue eyed baby. I wondered how I got her since I have dark haired babies with muppet hair.

In the dream, the baby was sitting on my lap whilst I was driving down the street. The baby was about 10 months old. Then, we were at a yard sale on some random corner - and I couldn't find my baby. Some hispanic workers were building a red brick fence right behind me. One of them pointed out that my baby was on the ground under the table. I looked down and sure enough my baby was on the ground, but dried and shrunk some. I nursed the baby and it was restored to health. I got in my car and drove away, I pulled down the visor to look at my baby in the mirror, but the baby's face had changed. It now had the face of a man that looked like a young Keifer Sutherland (but with a normal/slender nose - not to be mean but... yeah) with a beard. The shock made me crash and the baby was gone again. I found parts of the car and stroller all around and up in a tree, but the baby was gone.

I woke up Tuesday and shared this bizarre dream with my family. Then, Wednesday I saw something about Lisa (possibly MSN) - and I told my family, "That's the baby from my dream!!!!" I'm telling you she looks IDENTICAL to the dream baby. It was very bizarre. I have no idea why I'm posting this, because it probably is nothing... but it was driving me crazy.

I've had some dreams come true before... I look at them as a gift from God... but it isn't something I could ever control. Anyway, just throwing that out there.
I bet you woke up with a sick or unsettled feeling. It must have been a shock to Lisa on the news.
Do you have any idea what it could mean? Any hope?

I'm way behind,BTW and just catching up.

After I read this I wanted to watch Susan Smith so I got on youtube and found this little video. A fantastic reminder of not just Susan Smith but several others who went in the media with boo hooo hocus pocus tears who professed their innocence. Worth the reminder for any true crime junkies like me.

Why do killers speak out - YouTube

hey!!! guess who else is in this video???!!! Bill Stanton! (the PI that is now talking to the family! Interesting!!!!)

Possibly, but when asked a direct question, it is reflexive to direct your answer to the person who asked the question----in general, you look at everyone to make pleas----but when asked a question, if you direct your answer somewhere other than the party asking, I have to wonder why. If you direct your answer to your S.O., are you seeking approval for the answer you are giving? If you direct your answer to the floor, I can be pretty sure it indicates evasiveness. and so on...

My understanding from the Justice show IIRC was he noticed from the light being on that the window was open. He went to close the window and had trouble closing it because of the bent screen.

IIRC, he said he went to close the window once he saw it was open, and it would not close because of the screen.

At that point I would have gone immediately into the baby's room. imoo If I had noticed an open window, an unlocked front door, and the window screen was bent----wouldn't you check on the children first thing?

Yes, ESPECIALLY if the baby's door was open and that was the opposite of how it should have been! His stated actions don't ring true at all.

BBM. I also feel that she looks to him for concurrence, as if to look for affirming signals from him as she nonverbally asks him "this is along the lines of what we agreed to say, right?" It's SO prevalent, it's disturbing.

I am really still on the fence with this one. I tend to believe the mother, I think her emotions are sincere. The more recent "calmer" mom is probably due to some medications. I know I would need to be heavily medicated just to get through one day if my children ever went missing.

As for the father, my ex-husband was very much like him in terms of showing emotion and mannerisms, including the darting eyes when he was really upset over something sad. I also notice those same kind of mannerisms in JI's father in some of the interviews, he is standing behind the couple. So I don't read anything into JI's demeanor at all.

It appears to me that the family is convinced it is a stranger abduction so they are concentrating on national media, because the baby could be anywhere. If that were the case, that is a better place for them to focus their time and attention rather than searching around in the woods near their home.

Also, remember there are two other little boys in that home and the family needs to hold things together a bit for those boys.

Call me naive, but I am still leaning towards somebody outside the family.

2 minutes in DB talks about dumpster fire. Notice how she is looking away from the reporter for this answer, to the right, and also closes her eyes during the answer:

http://www.fox4kc.com/news/wdaf-add...-lisa-irwins-parents-20111011,0,5050853.story

Compare that with this brief video on how to use the eyes to determine if someone is lying:

http://youtu.be/E3PAW7zjgPw

Also, why doesn't she name who the family member is she spoke with?

ETA: ALSO, why would she know about this dumpster fire and not tell Jeremy???

I don't know how to professionally 'read' someone but I have a fairly good gut instinct about people. Watching the news vids of the mom on different days didn't give me any negative feelings.

Looking at them today and watching for the things HS pointed out, well it hit me like a brick. Today I think this mom knows something about her babies demise as well as the fires.
Makes me sad. :(

imo

Hi! I'm new to WS. *waves*

I'm still reading up on everything, but my theory is that DB knows what happened and was possibly involved. And JI is suspicious of her.

Do they have a landline? if not I feel that Someone did not was 911 or LE called.......

Hence missing cell phones........

Hello :wagon: That's what I think as well.

Do you know where I could find the interview from today? TH!

I've been traveling by air with three children for 11 years. All my kids have their own frequent flyer accounts. After I flew with my oldest at 9 months, I swore I'd never do a lap baby again. We've bought tickets for them, rather than going lap-child, even when they were young enough to save the money. They definitely ask the child's name. They write it in the flight manifesto. They also put a big neon sticker on my boarding pass saying "infant" and they add the child's name there.

When we go through security now, the TSA officers look at the boarding passes, and then they look at the five of us. They say, "who is Bobby" and they look at the kids to see if they'll answer for themselves. They have never asked for ID from the kids unless its international. But you wouldn't expect an infant to answer.

My 11 YO flew alone for the first time last summer. in that case he had to have photo ID, even for a domestic flight. We have traveled internationally so, he used his passport.

I don't think it would be that difficult to get on a plane with an infant w/o ID. with the Amber alert issued though, I'll see what I can find about airports & amber alerts. I bet they get the notice. I'd wonder too, since I live in Texas, surely Border patrol gets those Amber Alerts too? They must, right? I hope so!

We've traveled by plane within the US with our kids and the ones 14 and under didn't have to have ID.Our three youngest sons are African-American and my husband and I are not. We never had a question, even when they were too young to talk.

My opinion, and I believe everybody has the right to their own opinion. Consider all that this family has been through in the past week. I imagine both of the parent's are being treated medically for the amount of stress they are under. That could very much explain the differences in the most recent interviews vs the earlier ones.

As for the dumpster fire, I just don't see the big deal. They live in a pretty heavily populated area, dumpster/trash can fires are probably pretty common. Were I now live, people regularly burn their lawn clippings, downed branches and leaves. When I lived NJ, I wouldn't necessarily know if there was a dumpster fire or brush fire that wasn't big enough to make the news headlines.
