A while back someone would periodically post KC's commissary account. Not the one that shows what she is buying but the one that shows who and what date ra
ndom people would send money in to be available to KC to spend. Is that still being watched? I am just wondering if there are still those random people sending her money out of the blue or if her money is now limited to what the A's/DT puts in? Anyone know?

TIA!

When JA was questioning CA on the stand, he was asking her about the smell in the car. She was trying to downplay her comment about the smell being the worst thing she had ever smelled by saying it was an odor. He then asked her again and her response was AT THAT TIME or UP TO THAT TIME it was the worst thing she had smelled. Does anyone know if she has qualified her answer like that before? Does that mean she has smelled something worse since then?

My own opinion is that she said that for a purpose. She wanted to get into the record that she has smelled something just as horrendous since then and it wasn't a dead body (hoping that the public (potential jurors would say to themselves....oh well if she's smelled ???? and it was just as bad, maybe there is a chance it wasn't Caylee's body she smelled in the car in July 08). IMO she was praying that JA would ask the question "well what have you smelled since then that has compared?". But our JA is smarter than CA and he knew NOT to ask that question and didn't, God bless him!!! I also think the DT put this idea into CA's head, and when JA didn't bite, I could literally see them deflate. They were just as disappointed as CA that JA didn't walk into their trap.

Caylee's prosecutor's are the cat's meow in my book! Smarter than the average bear (snake...DT) lol. :applause:  :woot:

Does anyone know when the next hearing is scheduled? Have all motions now been heard before HHJP(even if not yet ruled on)? Does anyone know of any of hearings in the upcoming week that will address any as of yet unheard motions, or is there a hearing in this next week pertaining to anything else? TIA (Talking about the week of April 17 - 24)

TIA

IIRC, Judge Perry advised both sides to check their calendars and coordinate a date for another status hearing next week (between April 25th-29th). I think he told them he would be available most of this week if they needed to get together for any last minute issues that needed to be addressed..(he qualified Thurs. saying he wouldn't be able to do it until 3:00p).

I think the only way we will know is to check the clerk's website and keep an eye out for a filed Notice.

eta: HHJP promised to issue his rulings on the Frye issues by April 21st (Thursday of this week). I think he is also supposed to issue a couple of other orders where he was ruling on the pleadings (w/o oral arguments). There isn't a whole lot left right now just hanging out there other than that. There will probably be an objection filed by the defense to HHJP's choice of venue once he announces it. Any motions coming now will be ruled on in very short order and often from the bench.

Can the judge summarily dismiss (deny) the DT's latest motion...or will that have to be heard...again?!

Can someone please link me to Dr.G's testimony when CM was questioning her about who placed the mandible there and she answered God? I've also been looking for a thread related to that testimony without any luck.

Thanks so much! I missed out on that hearing!

If you are talking about the defense response to the state's motion in limine regarding the psychiatrists, I imagine he could deny it w/o entertaining any more argument. I hesitate a little only because almost all of that was discussed at sidebar and in camera during the last hearing. About the only thing I got from it was that the defense withdrew both psychiatrists from their witness lists (except for the penalty phase for one of them). So, since the defense withdrew them, I am assuming HHJP didn't need to issue any ruling since the point was moot... I skimmed that motion but I need to read it again. I just kind of took it as a "just for the official record" kinda deal...

Okay, I just read it again.
<snipped from the motion> "...the events referenced in the reports, which were gleaned through interviews with Ms. Anthony, are admissible as subject matter germane to the theory of the defense"

"gleaned through interviews with Ms. Anthony" means they are still trying to get Casey's story in without her having to take the stand, they're just citing case law this time. lol The front door got slammed shut so they're gonna try climbing throught the window this time. I'll be surprised to even see the SA file a response. I'm confident Judge Perry isn't going to budge on this one. It is pretty desperate, imo. lol

I know this has been asked, but since it is doubtful that casey' parents will give victim impact statements against their own daughter, who, if anyone, will be able to speak for Caylee, besides the state in closing? Can people who know Caylee speak for her, like Kristina or Jesse Grund? I don't know the rules for victim impact statements.

In Florida, victim's rights, including the right to give a victim impact statement, are covered by Art. I section 16(b) of the Fla. Const. as well as statutes beginning with Fla. Code 960.001.

As far as I can tell, the only people who would qualify in this case would be Caylee (no good :( ), Caylee's mom (um nogood also), the SA with the permission of Caylee or her mom (nope), Caylee's dad? (guess not), and maybe Caylee's grandparents depending on how broadly "next of kin of a homicide victim" is interpreted if the mom is the accused and the dad is MIA and presumed dead  (also no good unfortunately in this case). :banghead:

Above bbm

Does anyone else foresee the A's giving a victim's impact statement that reads like just one more attempt to defend KC? That even tho she is charged with Caylee's murder, that the family doesn't believe that to be the truth. And that CA will say she is reading this statement not only for she and GA but for her mother most of all, since she cannot speak at this time. I see something along those lines coming out of CA's mouth, if not out of both of their mouths (CA & GA). They will reduce it to another opportunity to defend KC, instead of sticking strictly to conveying the void and pain the loss of Caylee has left, and the effect that it's had on them.

MY question is, if either use this to defend KC or proclaim her innocence ....can the judge shut them down?

Oh another question is: has Dr. Huntington testified at any of the hearings yet? If he did it was one I missed so I'd like to watch it. Anyone know? And if so the date?

Has Dr. G's deposition from September 28, 2010 or thereabouts ever been released?

From what I recall, the deposition was released in February 2011. Here is a reference made to the release. I haven't found the document yet.

You will probably remember some of the quotes mentioned in the news taken from the deposition... (CM: Who put that jaw bone there...Dr. G.: God did...)

I'll keep looking. Maybe Musikman has it posted.

Replying to myself. I found Muzikman's post regarding the documents that were released on 3/11/2011.

Apparently, Dr. G's deposition is 115 pages and more then likely none of the websites put up the deposition because of the cost. JMO

Does anyone know if there will be a status hearing this week?

Humbleopinionforum.net has posted that there is on on Friday, April 22, which doesn't sound quite right with it being Good Friday.

I have checked HHJBP's docket and the only hearing he had scheduled were for the beginning of the week and they were not KC related.

Thanks!

That is a great question. I think last friday HHJP had asked them to check their schedules and come together on a date for a status hearing this week. SA reminded him friday was Good Friday, and HHJP said that 'he would probably be there' anyway. Thursday he was out of town until the ?afternoon?.

I know a portion of it was posted somewhere because I recall reading it at the time. It wasn't the entire depo, but select pages. Maybe I am recalling the portions attached as an exhibit to a defense motion?? (I know it was a copy of the actual pages of the transcript...not a paraphrased editorial article.)
