When JA was questioning CA on the stand, he was asking her about the smell in the car. She was trying to downplay her comment about the smell being the worst thing she had ever smelled by saying it was an odor. He then asked her again and her response was AT THAT TIME or UP TO THAT TIME it was the worst thing she had smelled. Does anyone know if she has qualified her answer like that before? Does that mean she has smelled something worse since then?
Does anyone know when the next hearing is scheduled? Have all motions now been heard before HHJP(even if not yet ruled on)? Does anyone know of any of hearings in the upcoming week that will address any as of yet unheard motions, or is there a hearing in this next week pertaining to anything else? TIA (Talking about the week of April 17 - 24)
TIA
:cow:
Can the judge summarily dismiss (deny) the DT's latest motion...or will that have to be heard...again?!IIRC, Judge Perry advised both sides to check their calendars and coordinate a date for another status hearing next week (between April 25th-29th). I think he told them he would be available most of this week if they needed to get together for any last minute issues that needed to be addressed..(he qualified Thurs. saying he wouldn't be able to do it until 3:00p).
I think the only way we will know is to check the clerk's website and keep an eye out for a filed Notice.

Here's the newspapers accounting...there is a Dr. G. thread, but I didn't see a link to depo. Can someone please link me to Dr.G's testimony when CM was questioning her about who placed the mandible there and she answered God? I've also been looking for a thread related to that testimony without any luck.
Thanks so much! I missed out on that hearing!

eta: HHJP promised to issue his rulings on the Frye issues by April 21st (Thursday of this week). I think he is also supposed to issue a couple of other orders where he was ruling on the pleadings (w/o oral arguments). There isn't a whole lot left right now just hanging out there other than that. There will probably be an objection filed by the defense to HHJP's choice of venue once he announces it. Any motions coming now will be ruled on in very short order and often from the bench.
I know this has been asked, but since it is doubtful that casey' parents will give victim impact statements against their own daughter, who, if anyone, will be able to speak for Caylee, besides the state in closing? Can people who know Caylee speak for her, like Kristina or Jesse Grund? I don't know the rules for victim impact statements.
In Florida, victim's rights, including the right to give a victim impact statement, are covered by Art. I section 16(b) of the Fla. Const. as well as statutes beginning with Fla. Code 960.001.
As far as I can tell, the only people who would qualify in this case would be Caylee (no good ), Caylee's mom (um nogood also), the SA with the permission of Caylee or her mom (nope), Caylee's dad? (guess not), and maybe Caylee's grandparents depending on how broadly "next of kin of a homicide victim" is interpreted if the mom is the accused and the dad is MIA and presumed dead (also no good unfortunately in this case). :banghead:
Has Dr. G's deposition from September 28, 2010 or thereabouts ever been released?

Does anyone know if there will be a status hearing this week?
Humbleopinionforum.net has posted that there is on on Friday, April 22, which doesn't sound quite right with it being Good Friday.

I have checked HHJBP's docket and the only hearing he had scheduled were for the beginning of the week and they were not KC related.

Thanks!
Replying to myself. I found Muzikman's post regarding the documents that were released on 3/11/2011.

Apparently, Dr. G's deposition is 115 pages and more then likely none of the websites put up the deposition because of the cost. JMO
