I think I remember that the lock was on the floor of the shed. I'm not sure which was broken-the lock itself or the part of the shed that the lock goes thru. AL stated he broke into the shed with a tire iron so KC could get the gas cans.
 
I believe CA or GA said it was part of the shed lock, not a padlock but the lock that is on the handle of the shed.
 
I've just been in the RHornsby thread and wonder if any can point me in the direction of Casey's interview(s) with LE that discuss why the trunk of her car smelled so much. I haven't seen anything and its hard to believe they didn't ask any questions at all about it. RH is saying any of her testimony during those interviews can be admitted at trial. Thanks in advance!

IIRC, LE interviewed Casey very late on July 15th and started early in the day on July 16th driving around Orlando and then up to Universal. The car at some point was picked up on or about late on July 16th and was not part of the initial conversation. Once they brought Casey to jail, all communication about the car et al ended as Casey got an attorney.
 
Thank you Patty G. - when sleuthers are talking about her testimony that can be brought into trial, I was concerned I'd missed something or these old gray cells hadn't retained it.

He was just using that as a ruse, he said he had his old detective self rearing up in his thoughts and he felt she had stolen the gas cans, that he had seen evidence before of gas having run down the side of her car where she had poured it in, etc. This was in his FBI interview.
 
Was the fact that Casey bought a Large package of paper towels on July 9th that was captured on video discussed here anywhere? I have tried searching, to no avail..

Was the white/light-colored backpack, Tony referred to as perhaps a Jansport, that Casey had "packed out" on her walk from the outta-gas Pontiac 6/23 towards G&C's ever definitively recovered?

Lee MAY have recovered this among Casey's things he collected from Tony's apt. latePM-earlyAM 7/15-7/16 when he collected the laptop. Perhaps it was one of the bags that was dumped out in front of LE 7/15PM. :waitasec:

I've always been curious about the contents & final disposition of them and this backpack. IOW...Casey knew she was going to get assistance from Tony when she started walking 6/23. She knew she wasn't far from G&C's and would be coming right back. What would be of such importance to her that she wanted to lug this thing??? IIRC, temps were ~90F that day. Seems un-Casey-like to put forth the effort if there wasn't some reason to lug this thing. :waitasec:

It obviously went into Tony's Jeep on the way to G&C's to get the gas can, but, I don't think we ever hear about it again. Tony just noted that it was full. Did Casey leave this @ G&C's. Did it stay in Tony's Jeep until they both arrived back @ Sutton Place. Did Casey put it back in the Pontiac?

Prolly nothing. I've just always been curious. I saw one backpack listed in the evidence, H-51975 item 4. And based on the items this is listed with I believe THAT item 4 is Caylee's backpack.

I've seen some pics of the Pontiac interior lately...and what might've been incidental shots of this Dora backpack...but I haven't paid close enough attention to be certain.

Anyone able to help me out? Didn't seem threadworthy since there's not a tremendous amount of info on it...but pls. feel free to launch one & discuss if appropriate.
 
Does anyone know if we ever found out anymore regarding the 2 necklaces KC purchased @ Penneys with CA's credit card. I can't remember what was fact and what was fiction .....I know that CA didn't want to turn over the credit card statement, but I don't remember hearing for sure (if we ever did) exactly what KC purchased. Anyone else remember that? TIA!
 
How long will the FBI hold on to all of their discovery in this case?
There must be much more than what we have seen!

Early on in this case someone put up a link to a music video KC had on her myspace (I think) page, which featured a mother and a small child traveling in a car, and then going to a motel. Does anyone remember what that was?
 
I thought I remember hearing that truTV had made a deal with whoever to be able to air the whole trial. But I recently heard it might not be so that upcoming witnesses (like the A's) can't find out what has been said already (I can't remember what show I heard that from). Does anyone know for sure? If not, are there transcripts for each day of trial that are released? I don't wanna miss a second of what goes on in that courtroom each day!

I have not heard of any deal being made about TruTV covering the trial. TruTV covers a lot of trials providing the court room allows cameras. Since cameras have been in the court room during all of the hearings in this case, chances are TruTV will also be there.

There is a very good possibility that all the local media will have a live stream in the court room, like they have done throughout, so the trials can be viewed online.

I don't believe that the court releases daily transcripts of the trial. This might be a good question for R Hornsby Questions and Answers thread.
