When the "new" videos came out (of the much younger baby), it was because the parents told a reporter where to look for them on youtube. They didn't hand the video over to a network - they just told some random reporter where to find them. That doesn't sound like they were money-grubbing.

Saying "just my opinion" because I don't have time to go find the article.

Who besides family/friends of DB and JI would go to youtube to look at video of Lisa? I had never heard of these people prior to the news about Baby Lisa's disappearance! There were probably very few people who accessed those videos via youtube before DB pointed MSM to them.

I didn't say anything about "money-grubbing", but I'm sure that someone advised DB and JI that major networks would pay for the rights to use family photos/videos. jmo

No...I am saying that LE must have been asking about the 2 hours AFTER JI returned home.

(Honestly, how much clearer can I be here? I'm starting to feel like I'm speaking latin.) ;)

Hi Kat...do we know for sure if JI was home the whole day before leaving for work at 5:20? Since they say this was the first time he worked nights, I wonder if he did his regular day, say until 3pm,then went back in at 5:20 and planned on staying until 10, which we know was later. Maybe that is why the LE asked about the 2 hours?

Then LE must know that the neighbor, the boys, and the neighbo'rs daughter never saw Lisa that night, right? Otherwise, why would they even think it was possible that Jeremy killed Lisa before going to work?

Because interrogators SAY stuff like that, hoping to break the guilty party into a confession. Their hope is that he feels so bad about it, that he will just confess to doing something "accidental", confirming that he in fact killed her. They don't care if he says it was an accident when it wasn't - they just want him to admit that he did SOMETHING to the baby. And, many guilty people will respond to this. They want to get it off their chest, but they don't want to admit they murdered, so they will agree it was an accident.

He would not be thinking about the fact that someone saw the baby later, and the cops wouldn't care. They would use that later to get the TRUTH.

I have been following this thread/forum from day one. I am amazed at how much stock people put into what MSM reports. I have seen first hand 3 separate interviews (not related to this case) that were 30 minutes or longer be cut down to a 2 minute clip that totally distorts the meaning of what is being said. I personally have spoken with AI regarding her "sound bite" and know for a fact that was taken out of context. No wonder stories don't line up.....too many reporters, interviews, and cutting to be consistent. I think the only reliable MSM reports should be ones shown in their entirety and not just clips or sound bites.

I am not saying that the parents are 100% innocent, I am saying I have not heard any credible, reliable evidence showing me that they are not innocent. Nothing from LE, nothing in court documents (even the "hit" from the cadaver dog is not proof of anything) leads me to go in that direction. I firmly believe in innocent until proven guilty.....that has not happened yet....at this time DB and JI are VICTIMS as is Baby Lisa. I will continue to treat them as such and give them their due respect until PROOF is shown beyond a reasonable doubt otherwise.

JMHO.....Hope I didn't offend too many of you! :)

Praying for the safe return of BabyLisa!!!

Hi all, i am new here, have been a lurker for a while and saw something today and wanted to share it. In a link someone posted today:
http://www.nbcactionnews.com/dpp/ne.../nbc-get-its-first-look-inside-the-irwin-home
The part in the video where the attorney is in Baby Lisa's room and show the framed print of the hand and foot -- to the left of that on the wall is a splatter of some sort. I think the lighting from the camera was hitting it just right to have it show up. Could be milk from baby throwing a bottle? Could be anything really, just wondered if anyone else saw it. Also, other thoughts -In the parents room, on the floor by the stand up fan and the rifles, the outlet has no cover on it. Guess the home is not child proofed with guns and electrical outlets where a baby or child of any age could get harmed. Also, why were there boxes and a carseat type thing in Lisa''s bed? Was she sleeping in the carseat thing on top of the boxes or what? and lastly, how does anyone know JI is the biological father?

I assume he is the father. But that is a very good point. Welcome to websleuths!

I to am baffled by Lisa's crib and the "stuff" in it.

I did. Look up thread.

And since I was good enough to post a link supporting what I've said, could someone who claims that LE has said that JI has an air tight alibi with respect to when he got home from work please post a link to THAT info? TIA

I had saw this repeated but never actually read/heard it for myself so I went searching and here is as close as I am getting:

The main problem I think that we're facing is that everybody (else) has an alibi," Irwin told the AP. "I was at work. I've been cleared. All these other people we were worried about ... the FBI said they've been cleared. The only one you can't clear is the mother that's at home when it happens 'cause there's nobody else there."

http://today.msnbc.msn.com/id/44813949/ns/today-today_people/t/mom-missing-tot-cops-said-you-did-it/

I'll keep searching though just to make us both feel better, lol.

LE stated it in the first day or two.... definitely the first week. Let me go digging.

Awesome first post! I hadn't seen that video yet.

Hmmm...2 rifles and a baseball bat by the bedroom dresser. Looks like the Irwin's doubled up on home security, huh? :innocent:

ETA: Yep...definitely see the splatter on the wall. Good catch!

My gut tells me the neighbor might have been the first trigger to LE that there were contradictions in DB's timeline. Neighbor was probably an immediate go-to interview for LE, and probably cast doubt on DB's story immediately - whether intentionally or not. (DB saying it was a 5 hour visit, neighbor, perhaps saying 2 hours... DB saying they never went inside, neighbor maybe saying they used the bathroom 4 times, etc etc etc). If DB intended to use the neighbor as an alibi, perhaps she felt that the combo of alcohol (we were both buzzed/blacked out) and a 'her words against mine' scenario may have been enough for the alibi to still stand. Shaky for sure, but perhaps the best she could do under the circumstances.

In one of LE's early press releases they stated that the parents statements "had no holes".....that would indicate that the neighbor's story matched the parents if one assumes that LE interviewed the neighbor early on. JMHO!

I think the stuff in crib was put there after LE was there

I'm also wondering why LE took tape and a tape dispenser from the home. Is that something they normally confiscate for no reason, just in case later they find something with tape? I wonder what LE would expect to find, or has found, having to do with the tape.

Thank you for responding.. Only problem I see in regards to them supposedly being good loving parents, a parent isn't a good or a loving parent IMHO if they allow themselves to get wasted to the point of not knowing what they are doing especially when they have chidren in their care and the children need to be attended to...JMHO..

But if she was expecting JI to be home from work by 10 or so she wouldn't have been the only adult there to care for the children. Perhaps the reason she stopped drinking and went to bed at 10:30 was because she realized that he was not going to be there until later and she needed to sober up.

Right. There are 3 settings on any youtube you upload.

You can set it to private. You have to sign into the account to see it.

You can set it semi-private where only people who you give the actual link to the video can see it.

Then there is public where anyone can see them.

You can change that setting at anytime.

A lot of people have baby videos set to private or semi private.

I am thinking someone wrapped Lisa up and taped whatever they wrapped her in!

I have been wondering if uncut interviews were part of what LE was after when they requested raw video from the media for the grand jury. imo

My guess is that that they took it "just in case". Many crimes have been solved by matching tape, either brands or even torn/cut edges. So, they are probably thinking that if they find a body, it would be good to have the tape on hand.

So when he said "I was at work. I've been cleared. All these other people we were worried about..........

he was not telling the truth. He knew then they had suggested something happened before he ever went to work. He has never been cleared.

Why the spin? I have to continue to ask myself this question in these cases. Why not maintain quiet counsel and wait for the investigation to be completed rather than spin stories?

I think they are thinking ahead for the jury selection. This is now a national case and they are trying to make as much information come out as possible to prove the Irwin's innocence.

Thinking about those rifles and baseball bat by the bedroom dresser, I'm reminded of something I saw in the search warrant that kinda bugged me.

One of the boxes LE checked off was anything that might pertain to illegal activities going on in the home.

(No, I'm NOT going to look for the SW link. It's around here, go find it yourselves.)
