Not me but I stopped even drinking a sip of any alcohol after my ex boyfriend many years ago was having bad reactions to it... He would drink, become violent, then swear on his life he never touched me, he even had a knife at me. Obviously I'm no longer with this person and happily married but it was a very scary, confusing, heartbreaking time for me... I'm wondering if Lisa's mother suffers from something similar .. Wish we had a specialist on how alcohol can affect the brain.. I won't touch the stuff.... She may have killed her baby and not remember?

that could very well happened..I am happy you are safe and happy-I had an ex like that to..

Yes, that makes a lot of sense. Alcohol has a profound effect on the normal sleep cycle, which occurs in stages, and is disruptive to restful sleep. One of the first things we tell people who complain of problems with sleep is to avoid the use of alcohol for several hours before bedtime. Alcohol may help you fall asleep, but will interfere with the normal sleep cycle after that. This is the reason one of the symptoms of hangover is feeling tired the next morning; it messes with your quality of sleep.

yes,I also find it very hard to go back to sleep cause my mind is racing.

I don't know if anyone has experience this, but with me..when I drink- I wake up A LOT during the night and my thoughts are racing and I have to drink soda or water.I did read somewhere that a lot of people wake up several times when they've had to much to drink.
maybe a nurse on here will know what I am talking about.

Yep, it's called dehydration.

They have sat for an interview with LE, and are still taking calls and answering questions, as stated by LE.

They have not agreed to an "unrestricted" interview, and I'm quite positive they didn't agree to that with People mag either - I don't think they would have sat there for hours of being told they're liars and murderers.

Not according to the attorney Cyndy Short.....

~snip~

Short says it's true that the police and her clients cannot agree on the conditions for another discussion or interrogation.

"We were offering conditions under which we would sit down again and the conditions that they wanted and the conditions that we want right now haven't meshed," Short said.

Koppelman asked Short if she could identify the conditions in which Bradley and Irwin would talk to police again.

"There's some detectives that really have a broken trust, and so it's going to be counter-productive to try to sit down with those detectives again," Short explained. "So it would be better to bring in some detectives who are fresh-eyed, fresh-eared, to listen to the parents. And the parents, I think, would feel more comfortable and less afraid."

Seriously??? Hogwash, I say.

I've seen this behavior before...... when the parent/parents are involved.

I'm talking about the interview with Young where he said yes they are still clearing up tips. They're in phone contact.

Your quote deals with the fact that is also true, that they are unwilling to sit down for an "unrestricted" interview.

Still, they are willing to take questions over the phone and answer them.

I am not convinced ABC sent out a reporter who looked at tapes at a gas station. I think if a reporter had done that we would have heard their name and they would have done the story on it telling how they found it.

I think it is far more likely it was part of Stantons team going around to all the gas stations within miles and this being the best thing they could find.

Stanton's team member gave this to ABC as part of the deal they will not reveal that.

How a tape of a white blob woman/man crossing the road two miles from the home in a case with a 9 hour window of opportunity means anything I have no idea.

Here is the tape on a link that works better for me. http://www.kmbc.com/video/29570079/detail.html

that could very well happened..I am happy you are safe and happy-I had an ex like that to..

I just really wanted to throw it out there as a thought.. My ex was functioning completely in a normal manor which was soo confusing to me..it's no an excuse for someone to act line that but alcohol is not for everyone.. I'm starting to wonder....

And what's your opinion on the bolded part? tia

I'm sorry about your ex-boyfriend's behavior. That must have been insanely frightening to you.

Yes, she may have killed her baby and not remembered it later. In that case though, one would have to accept that she not only killed her baby, but also cleaned up the crime scene, disposed of the body where no one can find it, then returned home and went to sleep - all of which was then blacked out. It's theoretically possible, but would be highly unusual.

Alcohol does lower one's inhibitions and when that happens people act upon impulses they normally can restrain. When sober, your ex-boyfriend may have been able to restrain his impulse to behave violently, but with his inhibitions lowered while under the influence of alcohol he was no longer able to control those impulses. The same may be true of DB - while sober she could control herself around the baby, but when drunk was not able to restrain a momentary impulse to shake her or throw her or strangle her.

Many, if not most, violent crimes are committed under the influence of alcohol - especially domestic violence against spouses or children. Alcohol does not "make" people violent, it makes them unable to restrain their violent impulses.

Many aggressors claim to be "sorry" afterwards, and I believe many of them are. We may be seeing some of that with DBs behavior now. Whatever happened that night, she many be feeling very guilty and sorry about it.

Between a kid home from school sick and a text fight with my husband I am so far behind I will never catch up. Can we please just find baby Lisa and end this nightmare?

My opinion is, if LE actually has questions of substance - and doesn't want to try to play mind games with them, they would agree to whatever terms Short wants. As it is, they ARE willing to answer questions right now.

I think what LE wants to do is get them down to the station and play mind games hoping to turn them against each other and break them.

Since I'm not at all convinced they know any more than they're telling, that strikes me as cruel and unnecessary to further the investigation.

MOO

I understand how the news works.

It seems the attorneys are more concerned with improving the publics opinion of Deborah than finding Baby Lisa. IMO And I find that disgusting.

I find it disturbing that Deborah and Jeremy can sit for an interview with People, yet can't meet with detectives because they don't like the ones they've been talking to. Who does this? Oh, I know- Casey, Ronald, Misty....etc.

BBM: Good Points ... and I totally agree !

Not only is attorney JT giving interviews ... NOW ...

The local attorney CS is doing interviews for national tv and playing "tour guide" for the house ... Seriously ... WHY does the local attorney have to give a "tour" of the house ? That "smells" like a "defense strategy" to me ...

Oh, and DB has time to get her "hair done" ... but does not have time to search and meet with LE ...

Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight ...

MOO ...

Quick! Someone call Appy Wells!
Seriously, they are asking for a do over? Mmm. Mmm. Mmm.

Megyn Kelly just had a teaser on FOX. Her show starts at 1 EST and goes until 3. She said she is going to have Tacopina on live and wondered why the parents let her sit down with them for a 2 hour interview.

I'll post when she has him on.

:floorlaugh: That is EXACTLY what came to my mind when I saw that as well.

Wonder if he's available?

The makeover reminds me of the Laci Peterson case where they did a full overhaul on Amber, remember? Clothes, shoes, makeup, hair.... full gamut. That was for credibility, wasn't it?

Whoa. Who what where???
The guy on there, on FOX, just asked why "someone's" brother wasn't talking about why he was at a deli at 5AM that morning...

the reporter mis reported it would seem.. as he was saying "white pants" they show the video clip of a white shirt (lol)
Say it isn't so!:floorlaugh: This has happened in almost every article I have seen so far - misreporting. I sure am wondering what happened to integrity.
