ITA, however, as we learned in the past, there are very sense-defying things that happen in the world....so.....I have already thought of how I plan to handle it if any outcome other than what I feel is true and honest actually occurs. We all will have to be okay no matter what happens at the end of this horrible tragedy. Get burned enough times and you start to prepare for self-protection.
I will pray for the best (true justice) and prepare for the worst. I haven't lost faith, I'm just gearing up for whatever happens.

Me too. I should have noted for the record that ALL of my friends at the party WANTED her to get Murder 1. They are just not convinced that all 12 jurors will agree. Fingers and toes crossed.

What proof do we have that she is? I am left handed when I write and eat. I cannot use my right hand equally as well for those things. I use my right hand for cutting with scissors, using a gun, using a knife, bowling, throwing, Batting . I cannot do those things hardly at all with my left hand. the definition of the word is that you can use both equally as well, but I do not see that she has any evidence of that.

Does anyone else ever get timed out (or whatever the correct term is) while in this forum? Is it maybe because of all the traffic? Sometimes I can't even get in...it's giving me a complex :blush: and NOW I have low self esteem.

I have the same issue sometimes, especially when everyone seems to be posting like crazy (like when JM busts someone on the stand) It seems to time out and then my posts lag or I have to sign back in!

I read a comment and sorry, I can't remember where (I think it was written by a poster here in a past thread?), but it was something to the effect that we don't need to worry about Jodi in the courtroom because she is wearing a stun belt. I didn't think she had anything like that attached to her. Does anyone know if this is true? TIA

I also see water in every one of those pictures. And no flash, until the very last one when the door is open and he is looking at the camera and the next one immediately after. I don't think he had any idea she was there for most of them.

The picture quality is poor because of the recovery process.
IMO she absolutely was there, car packed, dressed after convincing him to do a "Calvin Klein photo shoot". No way she spends money to rent a car, buy the extra gas, steal a gun from gramps and then leave before her target is dead.
No way she just hopes he showers and hopes he stands there for 11 minutes while she "sneaks back". She preplanned this and she stayed the whole time to see it through. JMO

ITA. I've had migraines since the 5th grade & have been hospitalized for some severe ones. I see a neurologist and have tried many many medications. Imitrex is wonderful--too bad they didn't have it during all the years I was suffering! I saw Jodi take the pill--while it COULD be an Imitrex, I seriously doubt it. Medication would be administered to her by a deputy--just like her lunch.

Also, when she took the pill I did not notice any signs of distress--a migraine is severe pain and nausea--there would be no drawing, writing, whispering, etc. I look horrible when I have a migraine--pale skin, dark circles--really sick.

I think that the "mitigation specialist" or whatever that inappropriate freakshow lady is (with her 2 ft earrings, low cut blouses, drinking from 2 beverages, chewing gum and rolling her eyes and smirking when Juan is up to bat) is the prime suspect if a pill was passed to Jodi.

The mitigation specialist is someone else named Sue (Shafton or Shaffer or something like that) and she will come in after the verdict. Can anyone verify this???

True that! Her "abusive" parents even put down the wooden spoon long enough to send her on an exchange trip so she could *advertiser censored* it up errr, study abroad in Costa Rica

When ALV is on the stand I'm sure she is going to talk about how abused women often hide their abuse and don't tell anyone about it. What I would like Juan to question her about is if she knows of any cases where a woman kills her abuser, gets caught and only after sitting in jail for over a year decides to talk about it.
I spent the weekend watching the interrogation tapes and her interviews on 48 hours.
First she said she wasn't there but had to change her story when confronted with the evidence. Then she told the ninja story which she decided she HAD to stick to. Despite her saying that she would never say anything against Travis, she did insinuate abuse during the 48 hours interview. The interviewer even said perhaps she was already working on her third story when she asked if Travis was ever violent. I can't remember exactly what Jodi said but do recall her saying "injuries were in hidden areas, arms,legs and torso" that contradicts her supposed finger and throat injuries.
I think Jodi spent time listening to her inmate friends stories of abuse and this is how she came up with her latest lie. I would assume many of her new friends are truly abuse victims and she's had a lot of real stories to make her own up.
I admire AVL for her work to end DV but I also feel she is a typical manhater who can spin any woman's story to say she was a victim of a terrible man. H*ll she even hates the seven dwarfs.

I think if a person is shot in the head and the bullet goes across the skull and lodges in the cheek that forming a thought at all like kill you ***** would be pretty unlikely.
The brain would be in instant shock and trying to form anything verbaly for a few seconds or more is pretty unlikely let alone grabbing at your attackers clothes.

Alternatively, forming and verbalizing the tought "I'll kill you *****" would be completely justified at that point anyway. If he was truly trying to kill her previously, he would have gone for the gun himself straight from the bathroom into the closet. Jodi may be able to put on a convincing DEMEANOR and use a few "big" words, but her stories are pretty stupid and poorly thought-out.

I frequently have trouble -- just did in fact. I don't know where the trouble is. At my end? At WS's end? It gets worse when the traffic's high, but I'm having some trouble now, and there's almost nobody on the board, on this thread anyway.

Sorry about your self-esteem. It happens to the best of us. Look at Jodi. If it helps, I will edify you, and declare that it is sunspots causing your connection issues. I also know of a good book, Your Erroneous Zones. It's kind of old, but I understand it helps with all kinds of issues, including suicide.
