Why they would want him to do that????????

After the bag was found Leonard called THE MEDIA FIRST not LE -that does not surprise me but why a lie detector test?

Suspicions that the 'evidence' was planted, from what I'm understanding.

I don't know if I believe that LP called the media first. Anyone watching Murt's feed could easily see that ALL of the media were already there in the first place. In fact most of them jumped on their cellphones back to homebase as soon as the divers came up from the water. LP didn't need to call the media at all.

Well, those who were watching live know that media was already there watching. They did call LE, but LE had to arrive & media had cameras rolling. I don't see how they can blame that on LP, whether it is, or isn't related to this case.

Bounty hunter Leonard Padilla, who organized the dive search, said the bag appeared to have been weighted down by bricks. After the FBI and sheriff's detectives looked over the find, their attention turned to Padilla.
"Mr. Padilla has been requested to take part in a polygraph that will be conducted by the FBI. We believe it is an important thing to do," Nieves said.
Nieves then commented on Padilla's decision to inform media of the discovery before deputies.
"Law enforcement should have been the first call regarding this find, not the media," he said.

Why did he call the media? They seemed to be all around him before anything was found, are you kidding me? Why didn't OCSD have someone standing by, if they want to be that way.

What does LP have to gain by staying in Orlando, putting divers in the water then planting evidence 10 feet from shore? I believe he is fearless but that would be stupid.

All I have to say is I hope Leonard told them the truth when they flew out to Califonrnia to interview him

Do they, LE know or have evidence that Caylee is not in water but in fact buried, in a suit case, duffel bag, trunk or something, that is why LE is so sure that this find has no value?

I completely agree with you. This case is playing tug-o-war with our emotions. We just want Caylee found. I really pray that there still could be something to this. I just don't know.

Would someone please explain to me why would you call Cindy if you think you saw Caylee. Hello 911. That does not make any sense at all. You call LE. They are the ones that are local and the ability to respond quickly and in the proper way as not to harm anyone. I'm sorry but this live sighting everytime someone searches in orlando is looking suspect to me.

Something is not right. This is from Fox Orlando 35 this afternoon:

On Tuesday, Padilla said he gave the FBI evidence that proves Caylee was dumped into the river. He refused to detail what evidence he says he found.
