I imagine all three guys will turn on the other two. Why would he have needed people with him if he was going to do the shooting himself?

Glad to hear they were able to get the video tape even though he smashed the machine.

I didn't hear the prosecution state that he smashed anything and I listened closely for that because of the rumours floating around

I did hear them say that footage was missing

UPDATE #1:
In addition to charging Hernandez with murder during the arraignment, the prosecutor in the case also unveiled a ton of info/evidence that he says the state currently has related to the case. Some key info he provided:

  • Odin Lloyd was shot in the torso with a semi-automatic weapon.
  • Aaron Hernandez has 14 surveillance cameras positioned around his home. All footage from those cameras that was captured around the time of the murder is missing.
  • Hernandez was caught on one of his own surveillance cameras holding a gun on the night of Lloyd's murder. He was also caught on a surveillance camera later that evening, after Lloyd's murder, holding the same gun.
  • Police can prove Hernandez picked Lloyd up at 2:30 a.m. on the morning of his murder. They can also prove his whereabouts for most of that evening using records from cell phone towers and surveillance cameras at several businesses.
  • Just prior to the time of his death, Lloyd made a reference to being with "NFL" in a text message that he sent out.
  • A gun shell casing was found inside of a rental car that Hernandez returned after Lloyd's murder. Police were also able to put the car at the crime scene using tire tracks found there.
  • Police believe Hernandez killed Lloyd "execution" style and planned the murder.

That is interesting you should say that. Remind us about your comment if he is found innocent. I have had a feeling he is guilty and was surprised it took them this long to charge him.

I'm going to pay close attention to the evidence in this case (I hope the trial is televised) because I usually lean in the direction of guilty when I hear these kinds of details

There is no death penalty in Massachusetts

conversation with my husband

me: (blah blah blah) I don't think he's guilty ... what do you think?
DH: I don't even know who he is so I don't care
me: he has a little baby and a $40 million contract
DH: well, he should've thought about that before he killed someone
me: ...

I also hope its televised.

Lloyd was shot five times in a North Attleborough industrial park, including once as he lay on the ground, raising his arm in a desperate attempt to save his own life, prosecutor William McCauley said.

The prosecutor said Hernandez, who was accompanied by two men, had the means, motive, and opportunity to kill Lloyd and had been the prime mover in the crime. “He orchestrated his execution,’’ McCauley, said.

The identity of Hernandez’s two confederates was not disclosed at Hernandez’s arraignment.

McCauley said Hernandez summoned his two friends, then drove to Fayston Street in Boston’s Dorchester section early on the morning of Monday, June 17, where Lloyd, a 27-year-old semipro football player, left his home, got in the car and then rode south to North Attleborough.

Along the way, Lloyd alerted relatives in a text message, asking them, “Did you see who I am with?” After they asked who, he replied cryptically, “NFL,” the prosecutor said.
“Just so you know,’’ Lloyd added. It was the last text message he sent before he died, McCauley said.

In the North Attleborough industrial park where Lloyd was murdered, surveillance videos captured the men arriving in the same silver Nissan that Lloyd had gotten into in Dorchester, the prosecutor said.

Once near a wooded area, Lloyd started climbing out of the car, and was shot once, which knocked him to the ground. As he lay there, he raised his arm and was shot multiple times. Five spent .45-caliber spent shell casings were later recovered, McCauley said.

When Hernandez returned home around 3:30 a.m. Monday, surveillance video at his house showed him walking through his house holding a pistol in his hand, the prosecutor said.

Shouldn't they be able to tell from the video which guy was the actual shooter?

What does it say about us when one of our first thoughts upon arrest/arraignment/no bail/guilty or not....is that we hope it is televised??

It seems unusual for the prosecution to lay out so much info at the arraignment unless it is a MA thing. I wonder if it is a tactic to put pressure on him for his cooperation. jmo

I have not seen one before, I was surprised they provided so much evidence but it did get the judge to deny bond. I would think with the evidence they claim to have and the money im sure Aaron has, I would think he is a flight risk.

I don't believe they have video of the murder but video of Hernandez leaving his home just before the murder. They have video of him carrying a firearm and getting into the rental vehicle that was seen at the area of the murder that night.

According to a third party, Hernandez was angry with Lloyd for talking to a group of people at a nightclub on the previous Friday, a group that Hernandez apparently had beef with. The prosecutor said authorities have tape of Hernandez, with a firearm, saying "You can't trust anyone anymore" before driving to pick up Lloyd.

The prosecutor says the group stopped at a gas station to pick up "blue cotton candy Bubblicious gum and Black & Mild cigars, which are used as rolling papers for marijuana."

When the three—minus Lloyd—returned to Hernandez's house, surveillance cameras showed someone carrying a gun into his house, down to the basement, and that's when cameras were shut off.

A shell casing was found in the rental car after Hernandez returned it—and a piece of chewed blue bubble gum.

The prosecution's extremely detailed timeline contains exchanges and information that could not have been picked up by any surveillance camera, so it seems likely that someone involved in the incident has spoken to police. (There is a sworn affidavit, but both the defense and the prosecution have agreed that it should be sealed.)

He looks pretty calm considering he was 1) arrested and charged with murder, 2) released from the Patriots, and 3) denied bail all TODAY

I wonder if RX drugs prescribed by a doctor would keep someone so calm in this situation? Just sayin.

Pics of Hernandez girlfriend. Her sister is friends with the victims girlfriend

This article says his fiancée is a sister of the victim's girlfriend.

The murder on June 17, the prosecutors said, was gruesome. Lloyd, a semipro football player, was shot multiple times, with the two final shots fired by someone standing directly above him. Hernandez, the prosecutors said, felt betrayed; Lloyd, who had been dating his fiancée’s sister, had talked to some people Hernandez “had troubles with” when the men were out together on June 14.
