Tomorrow (and every Friday) will be a half-day... 9-1 for #AaronHernandez trial @wpri12

Just saw Sonny Hostin on CNN. She was saying this case not a slam dunk for state. They won't have a believable motive, she said. ' Why would he kill his friend?' ugh, she bugs me sometimes. Like the prosecutor hadn't figured that out already? And plenty of peeps kill their 'friends.'

And she said there was no evidence that Hernandez was the shooter. But isn't it enough to show he was there? Does not matter which one was the shooter. ALL would be guilty of murder.

What happened? the young man was in mid sentence & it went to a traffic cam???

My feed didn't cut out, the young man was excused after a couple of redirect questions. Then jury was excused for the day.

Will somebody please remind me of the motive here? TIA

FALL RIVER, Mass. — Prosecutors in the Aaron Hernandez murder case have provided defense lawyers with evidence that they say suggests that the victim, Odin Lloyd, had knowledge of a 2012 Boston double homicide in which the former New England Patriot is a suspect.

In a letter to defense lawyers — which Hernandez's attorneys received from prosecutors and subsequently made public in a court filing — Bristol County Assistant District Attorney William McCauley said he has turned over to them "evidence that Odin Lloyd possessed information in [the] Boston homicide."

The prosecution has Aaron and his other two friends at the scene of the murder. Hernandez was the big dog there. He was a receiver for the Patriots and was the only high-profile guy in the group. There is no way that one of the other two guys shot Odin Lloyd unless Hernandez ordered them to. They knew if they said something that they would be dead soon. It was Aaron's gun and Aaron's rental car. He was the person driving.

It angered me when the defense attorney talked about all the things Hernandez did for his friends and all the money he gave them--as if being wealthy made a person a saint. The buddies were doing much of his dirty work so he wouldn't be recognized. The attorney mentioned that he was friends with some of the Patriot players. Name several HIGH-CHARACTER players who went out to nightclubs with him and these buddies and also went to drug parties at his apartment. When the lawyer mentioned that Robert Kraft and Bill Belichick were going to be character witnesses for him, I thought this was a bad time to have those guys as character witnesses after Spygate and Deflategate. Both of them knew that Hernandez had a drug and behavior problem when he was in college at Florida. Hernandez told BB that he would submit to any random drug tests during his first year there if the Patriots drafted him. I've heard that Tim Tebow had to try to keep him out of trouble in college.

I hope that not one person on the jury forgets that Odin Lloyd's life was no less valuable than Aaron Hernandez's.

That's right!! Thank you :)

That sounds like a pretty powerful motive----'protecting oneself from capital murder charges.'

Looking forward to court tomorrow, even though it's only half-day on Fridays. I fell asleep today during the 17-year-old's testimony and was furious with myself when I woke up.

I think this trial will gather steam and WS followers as it progresses.

What are the odds of him being found not guilty at all three trials?

I SO do not want to see this guy get off because he's a high profile person.

I don't think he is walking way from this. They have the videos and the final one of him with the gun. And I bet they have some things up their sleeves too.

Agree, there's an impressive amount of circumstantial evidence.

Spygate was nothing, it was actually the Patriots filming a few feet from where they would have been allowed to film, this "scandal" was way overblown. The only reason the Pats were fined the way they were is because they were warned to film only in the designated spots and were caught a few feet away from the allowed spots again... That was spygate, thats all it was. As for deflategate, that has been nothing more than a complete media creation. What I'm getting at is that Robert Kraft and Bill Belichick have impeccable characters regardless of what the media and many many Patriot haters tell you. Not that any of that matters in regard to this really.
