MA - Aaron Hernandez, New England Patriots player, charged with homicides #5

i read somewhere that Baez is good at figuring out in advance if a case can advance his reputation and only takes those he really feels he can win...he finds an angle such as CA with the blame going to George or in this case AB together with the sloppy investigation and gets to at least one juror. As much as many of us are seeing that this is no doubt AH those there that have an oath to vote not guilty if reasonable doubt there could be one looking at some of the police work and these Cape Verdean guys running away etc. and have doubt. That is all it takes. I will say Baez does not seem up for this task and was okay until he got to AB...AB honestly got the best of him.

Is there any other big case than CA that Baez has won? I don't think that verdict was only due to Baez's ability...but he has certainly enjoyed the media calling him the 'celebrity attorney' in that case. I think he got lucky on that one.

Baez and AH are a good match...'big' egos."... something that can get you in trouble.

I'm saying to myself - why does Baez sounds so "angry" when talking to AB?? Or like Baez can't believe what AB is saying is the truth? Oh I got the word "condensencing" way in asking questions.

I wouldn't put it past a AH supporter posting these type of comments on Reddit at all! The def. team know they are losing the jury and are trying to sabotage the trial!

The particular comments have been said on all of the blogs I have been following ( including chats and twitter) so the fact that Reddit has them is suspicious as to Def. Team trying to pull a rabbit out of the collective "Hats" !!

It seemed like Baez was doing a little better than yesterday--and he seemed to get a few jabs in and create a bit of doubt---questions about the return flight info--questions about a mysterious 2nd phone---and calls made to hernandez phone day after he was shot---

But on REDIRECT those things were clarified---like the call to AH's phone:

apparently, before he was shot, AB had called his friend back in Connecticut, using AH's cell because his was left at the strip club. He asked his friend to wire him some more cash, and said to reply to AH's cell-----
So that call from AB to AH, was really his friend in Ct calling to reply to an earlier call

Baez tried to make that a big shady mystery, and it was nothing at all

In opening statements, Baez promised to show the jury that the real shooter was Bradley. But he did nothing to prove that , in my opinion.

He made that bold claim once or twice ....Just kind of yelled that at him , out of the blue...' You are the real killer, aren't you Mr Bradley!' or something like that...:doh: ...but it did not seem believable, imo.

I don't think he was able to shake AB's resolve or make him seem dishonest or insincere. I think the jury might find him credible. But who knows?
