I have a question and am wondering if anyone knows - was AH ever charged with attempted murder for AB? Or is that in the works?

When AB was first shot/found he wouldn't tell LE that AH had shot him, so there were no charges filed. Since AB has revealed to LE what happened, AH is now charged with witness intimidation for shooting AB. That is one of the eight charges against him at this trial that the jury has to vote on. Hope that helps.

That is VERY helpful...thanks so much! Witness intimidation seems a bit of a mild charge but at least it's something.

Your answer also explains why AB was allowed to bring in his own shooting into this trial.

Again...thank you, thank you! This has really been bugging me!

You are very welcome! If you have other questions, just ask. There are a lot of helpful folks on this thread that have been following this. It can be confusing as it is really a tangled web... especially if you have followed the OL murder trial. Many of the same players, including AB who testified during that trial.

In the long run I think that the witness intimidation charge helped bolster the CW's case. Bradley was a good witness, but he also came with a lot of baggage. As he was sitting on the stand, the jury watched him with his one eye missing, which was a visual for them.

We'll all have to wait to see how this turns out. I think a lot of us have an idea, but you never know what juries do. It won't be much longer.

And although many seemed to be complaining about the CW's emphasis upon the shooting of AB's eye, I think it is vital to understanding this case.

If AB was really the shooter, than AH's behavior after the Boston shootings makes little sense.

Thanks to everyone here for helping me to keep up on this trial. I have not had any input but have been checking in to see what is going on.
I guess because I know AH will not be leaving prison ever (and he knows it) means that I don't have to look at Baez ugly mug.
What do you all think the outcome will be?

I know that some of the jurors already know that AH is in prison with a Murder conviction. They promised that they could still give a fair and impartial verdict.

I wonder if it has been discussed among all of them. Because I think that info would make AB's story more believable. It is hard to believe an NFL superstar is going to pull off the road and shoot their best friend in the face. But it becomes a bit easier to believe that if you know they have already been convicted of shooting another friend, in a similar manner.

I think the jurors first question to the judge might be giving the defense nightmares this weekend. It is hard to imagine a scenario in which that is good for them.

Here's his Opening. You're right, very scripted. And the defendant is like Hernandez, a rich guy that thinks Baez can save his skin like he did Casey's. What these guys don't understand is that you need the Pinellas Pinheads as a jury, Baez got lucky. He's an idiot with lower than average skills that took years to pass the Bar exam. https://youtu.be/pR1m6CRL9XM

Do any of you think it possible that AH got one of the other guys in the car to do his dirty work for him? I mean they all seem like "offing" a guy is not a big deal....I think at minimum AH arranged this shooting as he really needed AB out of the picture but feel it could have been any of them that shot him. I imagine most think AH would want to do it himself...still would love to hear that first call AB made after being left for dead!!

Even if he did arrange the shooting, that is still MURDER, and he should be found guilty.

But I think he pulled the trigger himself,

That SUV hidden in AH's uncle's garage is one of the key pieces of evidence that corroborates AB's testimony. It was totally cleaned and hidden away for over a year. AH wasn't going to hide it to protect AB, after all he shot him & left him for dead.

TOTALLY agree, BUF......the SUV is KEY evidence as the Commonwealth has BW and AB both testifying that on the morning of the July 16th, AH was on his cell. Then his cousin Tanya showed up at BW's apt and the SUV was gone and was never seen again until it was found when LE searched Tanya's CT home. Cobwebs all over the SUV but the inside appeared to be scrubbed and cleaned.

And his female cousin made it worse for the defense with her 'explanation' of why it was in the garage. She said they parked it in the garage so neighbors couldn't see when AH was there visiting so they wouldn't come over and bother him, etc.

Well, sure, if he was driving it to and from each time, that would make sense. But they parked it that first day and never moved it out. Even when the owner of the car, the PR man for the car company was calling and asking for it to be exchanged for a new model, he wouldn't return it.

That is damning evidence. Who abandons a car and hides it, when someone is offering you a brand new car in exchange?

But I think he pulled the trigger himself,

oh of course he should be guilty but the whole story does not compute with me and I am not sure at all that AB really saw him given his first reaction that he did not know...whole this is a mess but fine with me if he is found guilty.

But AB called his cousin and told him immediately that AH had shot him. And he told his girlfriend that AH had shot him.

The only times he said he did not know was when talking to LE. And that makes sense, given the street culture he was immersed in.

Katy you are probably right...hope no jury issues over the weekend...maybe the forewoman has no problem with her name being out there and will do an interview. Love to hear the jury's reasoning whatever verdict.

LOL,,,,I do so agree. And nooooooo I do not want to see Baez at all ever again.
I read somewhere that he has another pressing trial in Colorado. Some dirtbag killed his girlfriend and stuffed her in a storage unit.
He is hoping and wishing that Baez can rescue him, after all if Casey could get away with it why not try.

I can't believe I just watched this tacky, scripted show with Baez!! So was this a one time deal for Baez or is he a regular? He really needed to make his big TV debut during the AH trial?? Guess he needs to make his money where he can as I doubt AH has a dime left.

BTW, I love your description... the Pinellas Pinheads!

Yes, that vehicle was being hidden for sure and after it was cleaned really good.
Of course his whole family will lie for him (female cousin) because now they have lost whatever fame came along with being related to him and alllllllllll his money if needed. After all they are family? And blood is thicker than water??

Welp. Im a bias juror. Jmo.

Because you play in the Nfl and was good enough to get a huge contract.

So why are you here over a spilled drink and just was recently found guilty of killing your sister in laws fiance.

Hmmmmmm.

Guilty guilty guilty.

Plus. Dummy Dummy Dummy.

Lol.

Btw. I cried when they showed his mansion.

Lol. How do you mess that up.

I think AH had one too many hard hits/tackles to the head; one too many tokes of Dust; **and** had too much professional pressure on him. Fear of success so he sabotaged himself.
I'm not making excuses for AH....
I just really believe there's a part of him that is happy he is locked up with no expectations or strain.
He is so emotionally & psychologically flawed.
Moo

Hey all!

I'll be here 4pm - my time - for any tweets by Travis. Hopefully, today is the day.... but I predicted - tomorrow we will have a verdict!

See you all later!
