yes...an absolute with social media, in my mind....

WHEN did Ana get the Maserati? Wasn't it a possession of BW's father??
I feel certain they were already living way above their means, regardless.....

but she coo'ed about how wonderful her husband was to her for the Valentines Day present!!
you would be surprised how easy a victim of domestic violence can be convinced that the violence is somehow (partially) their own fault and how wonderful relationships get after a violent episode, seemingly improved though usually only a small sweet vacation from the next episode. especially if he is a sociopath with very manipulative tendencies.

certainly they were living above their means, but i am sure that cooing is what she wanted to believe each time, esp with 3 small kids and a husband who seems to do a lot (even if it's because he is on house arrest, lol).

domestic violence is not only physical but psychologically can be confusing and debilitating to confidence and trust in your own self and reality.

My question is... Who in the hell would smile like this when they've just been arrested for misleading detectives in the investigation of their own partner's disappearance?
in all fairness if you see the video, it is a pretty awkward moment and it didnt initially seem to be a smile smile but they took the perfect still to show this...imho

Been reading about this case constantly and somehow missed the bolded parts here!!

These calls make me think she either knew she was in trouble or they had a bad fight and she wanted to talk. IMO.
Maybe I'm wrong and they're just tipsy New Years calls she made.

Missing woman Ana Walshe's mom breaks silence after disturbing details about blood found in mom-of-three's home revealed | The US Sun (the-sun.com)
[Ana's mother] Milanka claimed that Ana called around midnight on December 31, and again at 1am, but she missed both calls.

Anna allegedly also called her older sister and her maid-of-honor but both missed the calls.

"And now, I regret not getting the phone, because she’s disappeared," Milanka said.

Investigators trying to piece together her last movements have reportedly found no evidence she left the family home.

Police searched the rented house on Sunday and found blood and a bloody broken knife in the concrete-floored basement, a court heard.

Reports claimed Walshe had made a disturbing internet search and asked his landlord about security cameras before his arrest.

Idk, no tears, no sadness, either looks blank or smile-y or even a little smirky in all photos / videos I have seen. The dead eyes look reminds me of Josh Powell. (speculation & opinion)

A sociopath?
How do I keep forgetting that he is a diagnosed sociopath?! (source in case anyone is wondering: public probate court documents linked a few pages ago)

No matter how heinous the crime, I'm somehow always shocked when a man murders his wife and doesn't seem to care they're leaving their children parentless. (IMO, speculatory)

COHASSET, Mass.A newly discovered police complaint that was filed by missing Massachusetts woman Ana Walshe prior to her marriage to Brian Walshe reveals trouble between the couple as far back as the summer of 2014.

According to a public incident report filed in Washington, DC, Ana Knipp, her maiden name, told Metropolitan Police Department that Brian Walshe, "made a statement over the telephone that he was going to kill [Ana] and her friend."

The police incident report dated August 2, 2014, does not specifically name Brian Walshe, but police confirm to 5 Investigates' Karen Anderson that he is the person associated with that complaint.

Police said that the investigation into potential offenses described as felony threats in the incident report was closed because Ana Walshe never cooperated with the investigation.

Of course. This is not surprising. Thanks for the link.

Hmm. Someone commented on the bruise pic when it was posted, "He told you twice! " I'm wondering about the context -- was it a genuine accident witnessed by that guy? I hope he clarifies because people are being awful to him on Instagram, but it doesn't sound like the "he" referenced was Brian...maybe her boss or the property manager told her to be careful on the slippery floor in her stilettos?

Also of note, her handle used to be ancili83.
Oof. I will say the only reference for this term I am aware of is a phrase I have heard at my grandmother's house between my step-grandpa and my uncles, "You should only have to tell a woman once." inferring that a second time means she receives abuse.

He was clearly not lucid of the facts of why he was there. Disassociation of reality. In his mind he was a star.

“EXCLUSIVE: Brian Walshe's 'response to friends' revealed: Handwritten prepared statement addressing missing wife Ana's disappearance and thanking loved ones for their 'concern' is seen on folded note atop couple's dining table…

The folded note, written in blue ink by Brian, is titled 'Response to friends', and seems to be his own scripted message to relay to concerned loved ones amid the growing speculating over his wife's disappearance.

Walshe, who is now in custody after being charged with misleading cops in the investigation, writes: 'I appreciate your concern. Right now my focus is finding Ana and spending time with…'”

OKAY this is just suspicious as all hell.

Whew! All caught now. Following this case...

From the arraignment hearing the prosecutor said she was 37 years old - ??

Also - is his next hearing 2/9/23 as a twitter account had his police papers? @jakat - can you access the court site - I get page not found. TIA!
Pretty sure she's 39. I haven't been able to access the Mass Gov't site that has all the juicy details for a couple of days. Maybe @Gardenista can help with that? Happy you're here Niner!

From the article:
But on May 21, 2018, Ana Walshe posted on Instagram a selfie showing her bruised eye.

Ana captioned this picture: “Mild Concussion, bruised hip, and a cut. #vulnerability.”

+Caption
Ana explained it to a friend with six words: “Freshly buffed marbled floors at work.”

Linskey tells me, in light of the DC Metro Police report, this picture can be seen in an entirely different light.

“Oftentimes domestic violence victims will cover for their abusers and come up with excuses for their injuries,” Linskey said. “It could also be considered consistent with that posting, vulnerability, that she’s in a vulnerable place in her relationship and is reaching out to folks through that means.”

BBM
Shortly after they were married she had a broken shoulder.
"It's been a year since I left my friends and colleagues in DC, left the glorious Willard, moved to Boston, broke my shoulder (as a result of New England's welcoming Winter), started the new job, and new life. We have overcome many obstacles to be together over the course of the years. It was all worth it because of where we are today. Lots of love for my Valentine!"

Always, it's about themselves acting on THEIR own inner rage brought about by 'her'. They act it out, the children there or in bed are never first and foremost. One should always know that, I had to find that out and survived by my wits and shouting (my little daughter) is upstairs! He lowered the chair that was lifted to kill me, insane look on his face and left. I was immediately able to get an order to keep him out of the house and proceeded for a long time to keep myself safe for my child. I had a great woman lawyer who guided me and 'marriage therapist' in a progressive city. IT's always using your wits and Ana may have been trying to do that but he saw through it. Simmering in his mind below the surface for a while. Who would of believed it of mine either. It was because I wanted to 'separate' and talked about it.. Never do that, just plan best you can. Horrible.

That’s how I have heard the reference too.
