Shapiro: there were all kinds of places Bond went alone - therapist, Winn Mngmt office, housing court

Shapiro: there were the text messages of Bond telling McCarthy she loved him - does that sound like a hostage?

Shapiro: now Bond says she was just too scared to do anything even when she was alone
Shapiro reminds jury about evidence that Bond could handle herself in conflicts, lived hard & dangerous life


Shapiro: there was nothing for Bond to be scared of, except the police & the truth

Shapiro: no reason for Bond for yell for help or call 911 b/c "it was a gruesome figment of her imagination"


Shapiro: medical examiner testified there was no evidence to support Bond's story - "because that didn't happen"
