I thought I read an interview with the GM (bio-dads mother) stating they were both in her apartment, they told her Bella was dead, and the story was cut short when the police arrived to take RB into custody.

The long Boston Globe article from earlier this week says that JA and RB spent 24 hours together before she told him the news of Bella. Yada yada yada about spending the night next to the water, needing to spend time together as a family.

From a more recent article: "Police knocked on Quinn and Drake’s door last Thursday night looking for Amoroso, said Drake.
He said Amoroso and Rachelle Bond arrived at the apartment an hour later. Drake asked about Bella and he said Rachelle Bond told him the toddler was “at her godmother’s.” Pressed about the girl’s whereabouts, Quinn said Amoroso and Bond “kept saying, ‘it’s not good.’”

Amoroso, interviewed Monday in his mother’s apartment, said Bond revealed his daughter’s fate to him last Thursday afternoon, hours before he went with her to Lynn.

“My heart was ripped out thread by thread,” he said."

So it appears that JA and RB hooked up on Wednesday afternoon, not too long after she spilled the beans to Sprinsky.

Coincidence?

Police showed up at JA's mother's apartment on Thursday night before RB and JA got there, so RB had to know it was just a matter of time before the case broke. Both RB and JA were detained for questioning on Friday morning. At that time, JA was most likely considered a possible suspect.

Did RB go with JA to his mothers house because her apt was being searched?

I don't have the link right now, but when LE interviewed MM at the hospital his story was that he hadn't seen Bella since EASTER. RB had told MM DCF had taken Bella at EASTER. That was April 4th? I will find the link in a bit. Just sayin' anything that comes out of RB's mouth doesn't jive with what is KNOWN. She will say what suits her at the moment. Just my opinion. These people are all the lowest of the low.

Yes indeed! He's changing his story because the masses are furious with him, and rightly so!

"McCarthy attorney, however, contests the account, saying his client thought Bella was in the state's custody, which is what the criminal complaint says he told police.

According to the complaint, police interviewed McCarthy on Friday, and he told them that Bond had said the state took Bella sometime around Easter. He didn't know the details, the complaint said, but he called Bond "a good mother" and described Bella's living conditions as "safe and appropriate."

When police told him that his story differed from Bond's, McCarthy said Bond might be trying to "save her own *advertiser censored*," denied having anything to do with Bella's death and requested a lawyer."

Not that I believe anything that comes out of MM's mouth either - maybe he had the holidays confused and it was Memorial weekend. I do believe Boston LE said something about people looking for a child missing after the Memorial holiday?? Maybe? Will look for a link regarding Memorial holiday and Bella Bond.

Patricia Quinn, the mother of Bella's biological father, told us she was only able to spend a few months with Bella before her mother would no longer come around and now she wishes she could have done more.

"I wish we were able to take her before all this happened. We tried, we tried so many times and we were so concerned about her because we knew Rachelle was a drug addict and prostitute. And right there telling me something," she said.

Quinn went to the vigil early so she could spend time alone thinking about Bella.

They knew RB was a drug addict and a prostitute and they tried and tried so many times...

I have no words that would be allowable to post about these people.

If both JA, the father, and RB, the mother, are convicted felons, I wonder why CODIS did not hit on a match sooner?

Both Florida and Massachusetts require convicted felons to submit a DNA sample. It also seems that both states share this information with the national database. One would think that as part of this whole investigation of trying to identify Baby Doe, her DNA profile should have been submitted to CODIS?

Where was RB found when LE brought her in for questioning? The cops had a warrant for her place on the Thursday and she is said to have spend the night next to the water with her ex. She no doubt knew that LE was looking around for her. JMO

IIRC, she was in Lynn. "Lynn, Lynn city of sin. Never come out the way you went in!"

I wonder how the grandmother and her BF ,or is it husband , could get custody? First of all, there is no record that JA is the father. And gmom and her hubby were homeless so I wonder about their history.

I do wonder how JA got out of child support and why. I cannot believe it is not a requirement that the father must be identified. Where I lived, it did not matter if the mother said there were 20 possibilities.

I wonder if she said she was a prostitute and did not know in order to get money directly fom JA.

Where I live, the money goes to the county. There may be $50 cash that goes to the mother. I forget

This whole thing is still makes me so sad for this sweet child. Everyone who should have been there for her continued to let her down. You can bet if I thought someone was even possibly doing harm to one of my children or grandchildren i would do more than just "wonder if they were being hurt". Now everyone is suddenly concerned about their "angel". It amazes me that not ONE SINGLE person noticed this baby was missing. So very heartbreaking.

Hmmm... Good question. I know JA had 10 pages of arrest records. RB - I'm not sure either.

No one in Bella’s family or circle of acquaintances and neighbors ever identified her.

“Bring Bella home to Winthrop,” said Town Council President Peter Gill, after the news broke last Friday. “God bless little Bella.”

The town has offered a burial plot for Bella Bond. The biological father said her great grandmother is buried in Winthrop in a family plot and he has no problem with her being buried there. The district attorney’s office said the body will not be released for a couple of weeks so more testing can be done.

“I can remember very clearly the day little Bella was found. No one, especially a child, should die nameless. Bella, I know you’re watching, and it’s something you might not realize but you are a daughter of Massachusetts,” said Speaker of the House Robert DeLeo, of Winthrop, at Monday night’s vigil. “It is my hope that we can now have proper services for Bella and let this beautiful young girl rest in peace.”

Suffolk County District Attorney Dan Conley thanked all the law enforcement members that helped work this case. “When I got the news Thursday that there had been a break in the case, my heart rose up, but since then it has sunk deeper. These people will pay for their crime.”
