Cannot figure out why the State ever offered RB a plea deal.Her testimony is worthless.

Does anyone know if the judge who will sentence her is the same judge hearing MM's case? KIM that a judge is not bound by the DAs sentencing recommendation. If the judge rejects the time served and probation recommendation, RB could be sentenced up to 17 years.

Could the Prosecution be that cagey? Is that why her case is still open and dependent on this trial? As if this is the only way to catch her in her lies and get the truth?

Here is a 'partial' video of when RB changed her plea to 'guilty' for her plea agreement on accessory after the fact and the larceny charge. It is the same judge presiding over this trial. Wish there was a whole video to hear this in it's entirety.

I was unable to watch today and maybe it was a good thing I didn't, don't know if I could handle hearing Bella's voice. I tried to read all the tweets and what I got is the defense is placing reasonable doubt, which I expected. There is no proof that MM committed the murder alone. Unfortunately they will both get off....I honestly don't even want to watch any of this trial. I have been disappointed in too many outcomes, CA,JA,AH, this one is just way to heartbreaking.....

I just don't understand how anyone, let alone a parent could let this happen to a little child! I am just very frustrated about this and any other abuse against a child posted on these forums. I lost my son at 12 yrs old from an inoperable brain tumor. Today would have been his 26th birthday....I could not prevent it but RB could have!!! I am not looking for sympathy, I am just so pissed off!

So sorry BostonMom...one of those tough days no matter how many years pass...unfortunately, I know as I also lost my son. I think cases like Bella's really have an affect on us, as we would have done anything, unlike RB who put her child in this situation and ultimately her death.

That video speaks volumes. MM will be found not guilty. The only witness they have is RB... who is clearly lying. They don't even have evidence that shows she was hit in the stomach.

I think Shapiro is doing a great job but I wish he would take a little more aggressive tone with her to crack her.

I honestly have no ideas. I do think both MM and RB were probably high as a kite when it happened

I don't remember he had a broken collar bone. I wonder how old that injury was??
