I believe some have indicated that shapiro is a public defender...is that really accurate? He seems far too experienced to be a public defender but then not sure where they get them from. I have to think that MM's father has some money as a business owner and hired him. Anyone have any more info on this. Honestly in a very methodical and low key way he is really trashing each and every lie that RB tells.

He is not a public defender, he is an experienced and respected Boston defense attorney. (I am a lawyer in Boston with ties to our PD agency and I went to school with his junior associate) It is possible that his firm takes some court appointed cases, but I strongly suspect someone is paying for his client's defense.

Why would she be receiving Disability benefits. I know people amputees truly disabled who got turned down. She makes me sick.

She testified that she has sciatica and underwent intestinal surgery in 2014 or 2015 (can't remember which). She has also mentioned PTSD and possibly another mental illness on the stand (there were a few indicated in the DCF report shown in the feed yesterday) and she said that her housing voucher was provided by the Dept. of Mental Health (NOT Section 8 as some have stated in this thread).

i have to think we may see some of the same people on the stand for the defense case...such as the neighbor...Sprinsky and others. And frankly it is a given MM is not an unstanding citizen but he seems to be getting framed for this with the help of the CW. He is being defamed non stop in this trial with very little evidence against him specifically. How does this happen to him and RB is set up to just resume her awful life.
