I don't know if I can believe this is just about drugs. I'm still catching up, but this seems more personal to me. If he wanted drugs I would think he would try to rob a small pharmacy. I know a lot of medical providers, and most of them don't have narcotics in their homes.

Edited to clarify about the narcotics, it might be a common misconception that doctors have a whole bunch of medications in their homes. As far as the ones I know, and have in my family, this is not really true.

Yes, yes he did.

It had to have been cash under table, right, because he was surely on parole/probation for a good 25 yrs. plus... With all the Homeland Security now, nobody could get any sort of 'normal job' with fake ID, right? Walmart wouldn't fall for fake ID, right?

At the moment there are many mysteries about this case. Details, motive, relationships, etc

What is not unknown is this man will be supplied with a team of lawyers paid for by the taxpayers, as well as a host of psychiatrists who will attempt to 'understand' the evil that resulted in this horrific crime. Another known fact is this trial will take years to commence.

I'm thinking his "security" job isn't an actual armed security person at a bank or something. It's probably just watching cameras somewhere, or more like a bouncer in a club. Has it been specified what kind of security he worked in?

How did he even know where these two lived?

Internet.
They let him in though, or, he hung around, and then slid in behind someone who was buzzed inside.

It is unbelievable that he got such a short jail sentence for robbing two banks!

If this is a normal sentence, then we will see bank robberies increase. Even if it is an unarmed one, it puts people's lives in danger as you never know what may transpire inside the bank.

Since we're all throwing out theories, I feel this will ultimately connect the child of his ex-GF to LB. Something "unjust" (in his mind) may have happened to a child that made this guy become unhinged, and he wanted revenge.

The "retribution" message written in blood on the wall is very strange. Retribution for what ? Dr. Field was a pain management specialist for cancer patients. is it possible that the alleged killer was a cancer patient ? That he got to know Dr. Field on a personal level ? Both docs were described as being very "kind" jmo just looking for a connection.

Reports have said he was known to them and they may have known he would be inside their apartment that night. So did he have a key? Why?

\ I missed this. Was this in a news report ?

I've been reading around and it sounds like BT is not even a US citizen. So if he was jailed for bank robbery, why wasn't he deported once released from jail? Bank robbery is generally considered a pretty violent offense, so the short jail term is also confusing.

I can see him 'known to male pain doc' ', but can't figure what link to his lady could be....

Main stream local newspp' say the police don't know how he got in to the elevator cuz' he'd need a security card, and MY GUESS is that the docs' opened the door 'cause he did a ruse like 'flower delivery!' - I can see wealthy people like that opening the door if he said it in a super polite & happy way:thinking: It sounds like female answered door and perp' has that gun, male doc' hears and is able to quick txt' until the perp' finds him - male doc' wouldn't 'come out' if he had no gun, right - he love his lady but he'd still try to hide, right? ------------ OH, lady probably screamed his name!! So perp' knew it was the 2 of them in there.

Boston is a sanctuary city.

It sounds like they are speculating ? But, LE hopefully has reviewed the security cams, so...

Sounds like they are adding up the evidence "so far"

"As investigators try to pin down a motive, law enforcement officials have told media outlets that it is believed that Teixeira, Field, and Bolanos knew each other, though they have not specifically said how. “[For] someone to come here, go up to the 11th floor, to the penthouse, we got to believe that somehow there was some type of knowledge of each other,” Boston Police Commissioner William Evans told reporters, according to WCVB."

I wonder if his attempts at larceny were successful? Did he actually walk away from the bank with anything?

What happened in the 2nd attempt to allow him to be caught for both the 2016 and 2014? Why on earth would you attempt to hold up the same bank twice? Once verbal, once with a note. WTH?

From what I understand (which is admittedly little), sentences for larceny can depend on the value of the items taken. If he walked away with nothing, or very little, that may explain the light sentence.

It seems to me that he had to have been a security officer prior to being caught and sentenced for the larceny charges. See below:

Teixeira served nine months of about a one-year sentence for two counts of larceny, Wark said. One charge involved passing a note demanding money at a bank in June 2016, and the other involved a verbal demand at the same bank two years earlier, he said.

Teixeira pleaded guilty to both counts in September of 2016, according to a statement from the district attorney's office, and was sentenced to 364 days in a house of correction with nine months to serve and the rest suspended for a three-year probationary period.

If he just got out recently (two weeks ago according to his ex) referred to him as a former security guard, then he didn't become a SG after being released, he was one before.
(that said, maybe he found a job in the past two weeks, I can't find anything about current employment for him though)

Sounds as though LE is basing the idea that these people knew each other on the fact that the alleged killer gained access to the building. jmo
